The "allergy bullying" concerns were more that parents were concerned that very little kids who the peter rabbit movie was intended for would see the hero of their movie using MacGregor's allergy against him and think it was OK to use allergies against the people in their life. I can kind of see the concerns because when I was in school, a friend of mine who had nut allergies was tricked into eating chocolate with peanut butter in it and had to be rushed out of school to the hospital, and faced other bullying related to food. Thankfully he was OK, but I can see how parents were worried about the scene since I witnessed something similar in real life.
Especially since it made it seem like it was a quick fix. All you need is an epipen available and you'll be fine and then you and your friends can laugh about it later. Except what if there's no epipen or it's too far away? And even when given an epipen, the child still has to go to the hospital afterwards for treatment. It's a rare occurrence, but I've even heard of people dying even though they used an epipen after coming into contact with their allergens.
@Milkycharizard I also knew someone whose child had to be rushed to the hospital because she asked a boy sitting on the bus next to her to not eat his peanut butter sandwich (he decided to eat his lunch on the way to school for some reason) because she was deathly allergic. He intentionally took a huge bite and then breathed on her and she went into anaphylactic shock. She survived, thank god, but the fact that it happened at all is nothing but horrifying, so believe me when I say that I sided with the angry parents on this one.

The whole Hotel Transylvania trilogy is an absolute delight, mainly due to the direction and character designs of Genndy Tartakovsky (of Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack fame). I honestly wouldn't be surprised - nay, would look forward to seeing - a Hotel Transylvania 4, just to see what the team could come up with next. Maybe a revenge plot by Quasimodo from the first film?

That's because everyone over exaggerates on how bad it is. In my opinion, it's an alright movie, but people usually whinge about it as though it's mere existence is solely the worst thing in reality. I bet half of those haven't even seen the movie and are just doing over the top reactions on how bad the movie was. You know, I had always known about the movie, yet I never checked it out until last year. Did I know about the bonkers opinions of "everyone else"? Of course, they just won't shut up. I only watched (with my brother and sisters) because a bunch of us had been seeing these reviews countlessly. Before watching: I'm gonna regret this... When we're finished: You know what? That wasn't actually so bad. There were a few unneeded moments, but it was a fairly ok movie. I don't know, maybe Phantom Strider is a human like me. Someone who actually has a brain, though doesn't use it to blindly hate something or even force everyone to have the same opinion as him.
Out of all the movies Sony made, Spider-man: Into the spider-verse was a blast to watch and truly paid tribute to the late Stan Lee. And Smurfs the Lost Village was predictable but an improvement from the 2 live-action movies.

First off: LOVE your profile picture!!! So don't send Dark Shadow after me. Second: Totally agree, I watched it with my siblings and we got a few giggles but overall it was predictable and awkward.
Before 9 months when I heard they are making Angry Birds 2, so I said that film will be the wrost animation film of 2019 since the first one had a mixed rate (5.5/10) and most of time the sequal would be worse than the first film or the original. But after I watched so I really enjoyed and it was more improve than the first one and I gave it (6.7/10). It wasn't the best animation of 2019 and there are many animation films of 2019 better than Angry Birds 2 but the film is really watchable and enjoyable more than the first one.
But actually PhantomStrider did hate the first AB movie and said that it wasn’t that even bad. I respected his opinion and Angry Birds Movie and its sequel were at the mediocre list because many people like and hate it so much.

I remember watching The Star in theaters when it first came out with my mother. The one thing we noticed more than anything that was in the film was how empty the theater was.
Those Angry Birds movies are the last good things about this franchise before Rovio decided to shoehorn the movie designs in every Angry Birds game released since the first movie and they even got rid of all the good ones except Angry Birds: Bad Piggies.
I actually preferred the 1st one. That’s probably because I was obsessed with Angry Birds when I was younger, I’m talking having all the games, collecting the plush toys and counting down the days until each new game came out lol.
The Angry Birds Movie 2 was really surprising to get critical praises, to the point where it surpasses _Detective Pikachu_ as the highest rated video game movie.
Money isn't what matters with movies; it's the people that's important and what they think, and they say it's better than the previous. At the climax where -Zeta reveals to Mighty Eagle that Debbie is their daughter,- I immediately though "not even _Disney_ can come up with a twist that clever". With "The Mitchell's vs The Machines" and "Wish Dragon" on the way, Sony Pictures Animation is looking forward to a brighter future.
I despise that remake so much that I refused to even download the game for free. I refuse to play a game that trampled on everything that made ratchet and clank a classic and a pillar of the ps2 library/image.

Honestly, I didn't think Red was unlikable in "The Angry Birds Movie 2". It's not that he wanted fame, he was just afraid of being alone and an outcast again. And I like that the movie ends with a happy ending for everyone involved.

I am glad that Genndy Tartakovsky and the first three Hotel Transylvania films are well remembered and well liked. The man gave us Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack, and after getting shot down in his bid to make an animated Popeye film in favor of Sony greenlighting the Emoji movie, it's great that he at least got to do some good work on that trilogy.
As an animated movie fan, I actually do highly respect Sony for their movies they make. Quite often I've been researching movies to watch, and then been stopped in my tracks by a potentially good movie that Sony made. I definitely see more of Dreamworks or Pixar... but Sony is a very welcome competitor.
I feel like nowerdays, since enemys teaming up with one betraying the other has been done so often, the absence of a betrayl twist is the actual twist.
I have to admit, I really liked the scene in the first Cloudy with a chance for meatballs when Flynt and the news girl meet up in a giant gelatin mold and he convinces her to be herself again regardless of what others think of her. As a girl with a multitude of disabilities you can see the direction I am going with this hopefully.
The actual reason why Sony cancelled it was because of story problems and the biggest reason was Samurai Jack. Genndy left SPA and went to Adult Swim to make the 5th and final season of Samurai Jack that actually has Jack fighting real foes and not robots. And good news, the Popeye Movie is coming back, but at a new studio called King Features.
As horrible as the Emoji movie is, there was one good joke within this pile of shit. In the background of the panic scene, you can see the poop emoji hitting a fan in the background. As bad as it is, this is actually pretty witty, and makes you see the missed potential this movie had
I have to laugh at the irony of #1 as an accurate representation of single middleaged widows/divorcees. I recommended the movie to a friend who lost her husband ten years back and she was getting angry with herself over having feelings for a guy that kept asking her out. It was hard for her to come to terms with the death of her husband of 25 years. Surprisingly the movie helped her define what exactly she was truly afraid of.
I saw Hotel Transalvania 3 for the first time in my school cause it was the 8th Grade party and we were in the theater (thats what they call it in my school) and the whole theater was quiet (except for when everyone bursted out laughing) and watching the movie, i agree with you Hotel Transalvania 3 totally deserves the number 1 spot for the best sony animation movie!
I have to say that I like The Smurfs: The Lost Village. It has fantastic animation style and the background music chose the right song for it like Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65 is one of my favorite song from the 90's.

Adam Sandler as Dracula in Hotel Transylvania is a stunning performance from him and you can't convince me otherwise.
It's a lot better than him playing a "twin" sister or a second voice as an annoying old man with a shrill voice.

The whole Hotel Transylvania trilogy is an absolute delight, mainly due to the direction and character designs of Genndy Tartakovsky (of Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack fame). I honestly wouldn't be surprised - nay, would look forward to seeing - a Hotel Transylvania 4, just to see what the team could come up with next. Maybe a revenge plot by Quasimodo from the first film?
I'm thinking that whole I'll pay you guys all back thing was a act and van helsing is lieing. Maybe the anti human hating monsters like quasi him and that gargoyle from the second 1 join together and try to ruin everything.

That's because everyone over exaggerates on how bad it is. In my opinion, it's an alright movie, but people usually whinge about it as though it's mere existence is solely the worst thing in reality. I bet half of those haven't even seen the movie and are just doing over the top reactions on how bad the movie was.
You know, I had always known about the movie, yet I never checked it out until last year. Did I know about the bonkers opinions of "everyone else"? Of course, they just won't shut up. I only watched (with my brother and sisters) because a bunch of us had been seeing these reviews countlessly.
Before watching: I'm gonna regret this...
When we're finished: You know what? That wasn't actually so bad. There were a few unneeded moments, but it was a fairly ok movie.
I don't know, maybe Phantom Strider is a human like me. Someone who actually has a brain, though doesn't use it to blindly hate something or even force everyone to have the same opinion as him.

Out of all the movies Sony made, Spider-man: Into the spider-verse was a blast to watch and truly paid tribute to the late Stan Lee.
And Smurfs the Lost Village was predictable but an improvement from the 2 live-action movies.

Angry Birds 2 is one of 2019's weaker movies, but I still kind of enjoy it on its own.
JediPony I love the angry birds movie 2, it’s no toy story 4 or how to train your dragon the hidden world but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

Second: Totally agree, I watched it with my siblings and we got a few giggles but overall it was predictable and awkward.
Before 9 months when I heard they are making Angry Birds 2, so I said that film will be the wrost animation film of 2019 since the first one had a mixed rate (5.5/10) and most of time the sequal would be worse than the first film or the original.
But after I watched so I really enjoyed and it was more improve than the first one and I gave it (6.7/10).
It wasn't the best animation of 2019 and there are many animation films of 2019 better than Angry Birds 2 but the film is really watchable and enjoyable more than the first one.
But actually PhantomStrider did hate the first AB movie and said that it wasn’t that even bad. I respected his opinion and Angry Birds Movie and its sequel were at the mediocre list because many people like and hate it so much.

Those Angry Birds movies are the last good things about this franchise before Rovio decided to shoehorn the movie designs in every Angry Birds game released since the first movie and they even got rid of all the good ones except Angry Birds: Bad Piggies.

The Angry Birds Movie 2 was really surprising to get critical praises, to the point where it surpasses _Detective Pikachu_ as the highest rated video game movie.
Too bad it failed to do well box-office wise compared to the first, mainly due to Lion King.
Money isn't what matters with movies; it's the people that's important and what they think, and they say it's better than the previous. At the climax where -Zeta reveals to Mighty Eagle that Debbie is their daughter,- I immediately though "not even _Disney_ can come up with a twist that clever". With "The Mitchell's vs The Machines" and "Wish Dragon" on the way, Sony Pictures Animation is looking forward to a brighter future.

That was made in partnership with Marvel and Disney so its technically not a SONY movie.
I am glad that Genndy Tartakovsky and the first three Hotel Transylvania films are well remembered and well liked. The man gave us Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack, and after getting shot down in his bid to make an animated Popeye film in favor of Sony greenlighting the Emoji movie, it's great that he at least got to do some good work on that trilogy.
As an animated movie fan, I actually do highly respect Sony for their movies they make. Quite often I've been researching movies to watch, and then been stopped in my tracks by a potentially good movie that Sony made. I definitely see more of Dreamworks or Pixar... but Sony is a very welcome competitor.

I have to admit, I really liked the scene in the first Cloudy with a chance for meatballs when Flynt and the news girl meet up in a giant gelatin mold and he convinces her to be herself again regardless of what others think of her. The actual reason why Sony cancelled it was because of story problems and the biggest reason was Samurai Jack. Genndy left SPA and went to Adult Swim to make the 5th and final season of Samurai Jack that actually has Jack fighting real foes and not robots. And good news, the Popeye Movie is coming back, but at a new studio called King Features.

I have to laugh at the irony of #1 as an accurate representation of single middleaged widows/divorcees. I recommended the movie to a friend who lost her husband ten years back and she was getting angry with herself over having feelings for a guy that kept asking her out. It was hard for her to come to terms with the death of her husband of 25 years. Surprisingly the movie helped her define what exactly she was truly afraid of.
I saw Hotel Transalvania 3 for the first time in my school cause it was the 8th Grade party and we were in the theater (thats what they call it in my school) and the whole theater was quiet (except for when everyone bursted out laughing) and watching the movie, i agree with you Hotel Transalvania 3 totally deserves the number 1 spot for the best sony animation movie!

I have to say that I like The Smurfs: The Lost Village. It has fantastic animation style and the background music chose the right song for it like Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65 is one of my favorite song from the 90's.
I so agree with hotel t 3! I really loved seeing drac finding a new love. Like he freaking lost his wife all cuz of destructive humans, so he really deserved finding a new part to his life. A new zing 💗
