"The Copycats" was my favorite episode of Gumball, and when I heard that it was made in direct response to that knockoff, just made The Copycats that much funnier imo
Actually, I think it was Gumball that pointed out the attention on the one child policy when he looked up the family and saw the little sister was erased 😂
It was actually a plot point, since the way they got them out of the way was with an extremely dangerous stunt that could only be solved with the help of Anais. And since the goats didn't have a little sister, they ended up in the blowing up tanker truck.
For those of you wondering, Block 13 was created by an animator that loved south park so much that he wanted to share it with his country but couldn't because of its restrictions so he made his own version

Calling Samurai Pizza Cats a rip off is just silly. They're called the Legendary Ninja Cats in Japan, the Samurai Pizza part was an American localization thing.
Exactly. Only the US version referenced TMNT to get the viewers’ attention. The cats are not really free-spirited, rebellions and “radical” like the turtles either, but more like agents of justice that pursues corrupted officials, as mostly seen in many of Japanese classic dramas. Hearing him say “which one of these terrible rip-off shows do you think is the worst?” with Samurai Pizza Cat in there feels pretty insulting. LOL

I think the Extreme Dinosaurs are original enough, though I might be biased, since that was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. They had a full series too, focusing on climate issues.

13:48 no, The Simpsons is not the longest running animated series of all time. That accolade goes to Sazae-san. Sazae-san is an anime that has been airing every Sunday since October 5th 1969 in which it’s 2733rd episode aired yesterday. The 7500+ bit about it depends on how you view an episode. As there’s 3 stories per episode. Some people view each story as its own episode.
Wow. While I hadn't seen all of these I have sadly seen many of them. Especially the Hanna Barbara cash ins. As a child I remember actually liking Jabber Jaw - the Jaws Scooby Doo love child. I never really appreciated the TMNT cartoons and movies, I was old school and I perfered the original Dare Devil inspired comic. The same radioactive material that made DD blind and gave him his powers turned his pet turtles into the characters we grew to love.
Jabber Jaw was pretty cool. Does anyone remember who played him? Was it one of the Curly Joes, or just someone who was good at impersonating their voice? And the title song sounded like Betty Boop a little.
Fun fact for those who care: The other Hannah-Barbera mystery gangs (except for Goober) were referenced in Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated, and Clue Club's vehicle, a living buggy who is aptly named Speedbuggy, for some odd reason, is a key member in the mission to save all of the gangs, Mystery Inc included, from Lord Infernicus and his money-making plot.
I loved that episode! I didn't know who those characters were at the time, so I was really confused about what was happening. I also like how they changed the artstyle to try and look more like the old cartoon style.
The fact that The Amazing World of Gumball decided to include their copy-catter in an episode of their own and put them to shame for all to see, not to mention that their executives actually approved that script, is such an idea. I'd steal that idea if I had a show XD

Coconut Fred’s Fruit Salad Island was the best (one whose family couldn’t afford cable) could get especially on a Saturday morning kids shows block.
Also, the Street Sharks was pretty kick-ass in terms of not trying to be associated being a TMNT rip-off. Good storyline, some vehicles,…
It's like someone said:"Nobody is better than the original."
Minecraft, GD and Stumble Guys: Are you sure about that?
Goober and the ghost chasers 💀
What kind of Scooby-doo impression was that😂😂😂

Same
33:29 I nearly died inside when you mispronounced Anais' (AN-I-ECE) name wrong.
10:36 "french chef"
Actually, while it turns out Alfredo Linguini is the illegitimate son of French Gusteau, you can tell by his name alone he is actually very obviously Italian like his mother.
I havent seen any of these cartoons
My two favorite animated movies: Monsters vs. Aliens, Partly Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs
You got that second title partly wrong.
I think the relationship between the bee and woman in Bee movie are more like a symbiotic relationship.
23:50 The adventures of lucky pie isn't a ripoff, it was created by a fan that took inspiration from Adventure Time. Other fans of Adventure Time enjoyed Lucky Pie as a unique version. Or that's what I heard.
that scooby doo impression was top tier ‼️
