Well Eddie I’d say your days with Griots blessings are numbered😂. Other than that this video showing how other products will release the dirt off the mitt is priceless…great job as usual! For me it’s DIYDetail Rinseless.
@@Ecdetails I think every large company has had products that flopped. Chemical Guys comes to mind they have so many products to choose from but about 10% of them are flops…Diablo for one😂!
Great video. Thanks for doing this as I was very excited to try this. Now not so much. Usually griots is a winner. I loved there brilliant finish rinseless wash! They should have kept it!
Like EVERY company out there, they have their good and bad products. Definitely have had great luck with other products from them, but looks like this just may not be one of their banger products.
Rinseless Wash should excel at cleaning, leaving a surface that doesn’t attract dust and releasing the dirt to the bottom of the rinseless bucket. I don’t like Rinseless Wash solutions that contain Si02. Protection belongs in a drying aid or separate spray sealant.
i hope Griots watches this and not take it the wrong way, but using this video to improve this product, I personally like absoluterinseless and DIY rinseless with legacy sponge, I’m going to try microfiber on my next rinseless see if I like it
I have never used DIY but Croftgate Wash N Wax cleans the towel better than any other rinseless wash I have used and requires no pre rinse . Just dunk in the bucket , wring out slightly , and wash
Its not great for actual cleaning. Great for leaving some protection behind and if the car is pretty clean already and youre just touching it up. But if the cars really dirty you'd probably want to use another soap first
Compare apples to apples. Wolfgang Uber sio2 rinseless wash versus griots would be a great test. Uber sio2 is a fantastic rinseless wash. Griots jumped the gun imo on this product. They had good intentions with the product but it definitely needs some tweaking. The streaking issues are most likely due to the high sio2 content and as every detailer knows high sio2 content equals streak city lol. I’m willing to bet you could dilute it at 1:256 and get less streaking but then it may compromise the cleaning aspect. Worth a test anyways lol. Nonetheless thanks for the videos trying new products I almost always watch them. 😁👍
I love Uber sio2 and flex hybrid ceramic wash - I’ll do a comparison- I have been having conversion with a few that said it was done wrong you put the towels in the bucket go on the paint with out a pre spray - I’m like nah no thanks , rinseless wash isn’t rocket science just pre spray and go to work- I also agree the streaking is when the sio2 content is high mixed with higher humidity
@@Ecdetails I think the normal dilution is 256:1. I might have misheard but it sounded like the dilution ration was way lower on what you’re using. I will watch again. I may have misunderstood, but there was no criticism or anything like that.
Yes, the way I understood the dilution was128 in what you were saying. Maybe it’s just too weak. I’m very new to rinseless washing, so my present experience with it is only DIY. I enjoy that quite a bit so it would take you saying something pretty fabulous to make me try something else.
Thanks for the review Eddie. I was just getting ready to buy this rinseless wash to try out but I think you have persuaded not to bother. That smearing and streaking was an instant turn off for me.
