Thank you for this Indepth review. Kcx makes great products and I'm glad they didn't drop the ball on this. You went deep on this one. Great review 👏 👌
Very nice review. My opinion of Gyeon Eco Wash is the same as yours. I see other people saying it was super slick and glossy and I didn't get that during my two washes thus far. I also felt it dried my hands out a little, but I contribute that to the Si02 in it. It looks and feels just like Mothers CMX wash. One thing to note for TDS testing in rinseless washes. You often won't see a change because the products are removing/neutralizing the cal and mag ions and replacing with sodium ions. Its the same way a water softener works and the reason why these products will say they soften the water, but do not state they lower the TDS. You need the water to run through a physical media to truly lower and reduce those minerals. Thats why you have DI and RO machines.
We will never see tds changes I know that the goal is to see if the rinseless can encapsulate the minerals to create "polymer spots" I wanted to show that it didn't next video I will explain. Also appreciate the comment
I like Koch, they always produce a good, all around product that always works. Sometimes there's better products for less and it is expensive though. I got bottle of this coming my way and am excited for the tea smell.

@@Ecdetails idk the video I watched before this one was of you reviewing McKees V2 and you were ecstatic it seemed like. You sold me on that one. Sales 101 is excitement and making people imagine themselves using whatever you are selling. Your reviews have a lot of power and I think companies know that, they need to start sending you stuff for free and having you review it! Anyways that’s what made me buy a bottle of V2 the other night lol 😂
I would expect this rinseless to be better because it just came out. I am excited to try it myself because I like Koch chemie products. However, the price point is on par with other 32oz but not with gallons so it will be costly for most detailers until they come out with gallons. I also know that other companies will tweak their versions and the battle for better will continue. I know a lot of pros will just stick with what they like. I def can’t wait to test it out even though I don’t need with all the other products I have now. 😂
I know but for the soap company to come out with something like this , is like ADS "Ill never do a rinseless just do soap" and now they both have something wonderful
Until the next best thing. People will continue to chase the best. There will never be a “best”. Just like a lot of people still think ONR is the best. They aren’t wrong because it’s their opinion.
@Ecdetails lol I actually don't know since I choose not to drink, but it smells like the beach bar when I was in Jamaica for my honeymoon. It smells good af
Just used ERW today best smelling rinseless so far out all I tried (ONR v5, Absolute, Idrosave). It has similar water dispersion effect as ONR v5 as well as the deep richer color. However it’s not as slick feeling as Absolute nor the slickest Idrosave. However the trade off with those two is their too glossy sacrificing color depth. I might mix the little I have of Idrosave and RRW to see what effect I’ll get.
@@Ecdetails on glass RRW is better due to the water dispersion sheeting ability. On paint maybe a slight edge to Idrosave. The over slickness gives me more comfort in the Idrosave. RRW not as slick so I was constantly looking at the paint for marring.
shout out to kcx..i new you were great even when others tried to tell me differently. Eddie..if you're going to add TDS and pH to your videos, I'm gonna need to see calibration records and True Value comparisons vs the standards...In the name of science..thx.
EC, In my opinion, all this hype about rinseless wash is being given a lot of importance and way over-rated. IMO, rinseless washes requires too many steps , too many instructions , and special equipment . On top of that, you still have a dirty car at the end and the clients ends being cheated out of a true clean car wash process, and don't get me started on waterless washes. With all these requires steps, , why not just do a complete foam and contact car wash and give the client their monies worth and most important of all A CLEAN CAR!! Sorry for the negative comment.
I would love one day to do vs some one who does soap vs someone who does rinseless there are similarities for sure. I didn't take this as negative bro its your opinion one thing I know for sure is everyone does everything different including washing cars
It's time to go to school my friend... Too many steps? It's at least one step less than a soap wash. Too many instructions? Eh come again? One cap per gallon, dunk your sprayer in, spray it, wash it top to bottom, dry it. Nothing all that different or difficult there. Special equipment? You mean a spray bottle and some microfiber towels? Or a sponge that will last for YEARS? What's special about that? Car not as clean? You've clearly never done a rinseless wash so you have no idea what it can do. Yvan LaCroix built several detail shops in Canada that never used soap. All rinseless means is that you're doing the contact wash with a superior product that doesn't need to be rinsed after. You can/should still use a pressure washer and diluted APC and/or acidic pre-cleaners as needed.
@@jeffc6832 you said you should still use a pressure washer and APC....🤣🤣 Isn't that the whole point of your rinseless washing....not to use a pressure washer. It's time to go back to school and get your facts rights my friend....
@@JP-vs8yl 😂🤣😂🤣 Nah bro. Can rinseless be used without a hose/pressure washer? Yes. Should it be? Depends. Rinseless is a soap replacement for the contact wash step. Prewash is always going to vary based on the level of dirt/contamination present. Given the same prewash treatment in the same conditions, rinseless is going to be faster than soap and provide safer drying. When you rinse soap off of a car, you're rinsing away all of the lubrication. Water is a solvent, so you have to add something back (usually in the form of a spray sealant/topper) so that you can safely dry without scratching. When using rinseless, that lubrication is already there and all you have to do is dry it off. I live in MN where you can't bucket wash outside for 6 months of the year. The other 6 months of the year I have no shade and very hard water. I have a smallish garage, so I don't want to spray foam all over in my garage every time I wash. I also want to minimize how much water I'm dumping in there. So I do my wheels and tires in the garage, apply whatever prewash I need given the level of dirt on the paint, then pressure wash when necessary. If it's at least 10 degrees and sunny, I can do that outside in my driveway because I have hot water feeding my wall mounted pressure washer in my heated garage. When I'm done, I pull it back in the garage to do my rinseless contact wash and dry. When it's 90 degrees, humid and full sun in my driveway...I again do my pressure washer prewash outside. When I'm done, I spray on rinseless with my foam cannon and then pull it back into the garage so I can take my time with the contact wash and not get hard water spots. I still use soap sometimes, but it always takes more time and I'm left with a vehicle that looks exactly the same as it would if I had used rinseless.
@@JP-vs8yl and APC isn't used every time, only once in awhile when required (and heavily diluted)...same as you would do if you were using a pH neutral soap. Again, the only thing rinseless is doing is replacing the soap in your bucket for the contact wash and eliminating the steps of rinsing and spraying on a drying lubricant. If the vehicle is only lightly dirty, then I can skip the pressure washer completely.
Can't wait for the top 5 Rinseless showdown breakdown!

@@jeffc6832 you said you should still use a pressure washer and APC....🤣🤣
Isn't that the whole point of your rinseless washing....not to use a pressure washer.
