I've been using the Griot's Ceramic All in One Wax since it was first introduced. My main reason was that I prefer a product that can be applied with an orbital polisher. My car, a 2006 Mustang GT Premium, is pretty much defect free so the this product with its limited abrasives works well to eliminate any small imperfections. That being said I was more interested in the long term durability of the product. Not only has it exceeded my expectations for gloss and shine, it has also proven to hold up well over time. Even during our wet winter my car looks amazingly clean. Before I applied this to my wife's 2011 Hyundai Sonata I had to polish out a lot of defects using Griot's Boss Polishes. Once that was done I applied the Ceramic All in One Wax and have the same results on her car. I have used the Griot's Ceramic Speed Shine to help maintain the protection. I agree that 10 months protection is all you will get from this product for any vehicle not garaged.

Hello . I have a Honda accord with modern steel metallic paint ... I have marrin and hologram on the paint . I was looking at Carpro Reflect finishing polish ? Would this be a good product for such issues with my car ... Car is 7 years old never polish before ... Or what would you recommend ... I've never polish but I'm a quick learner Thanks I saw the video ... not looking for added protection polish... I'll just paste wax the vehicle after
Hey my friend! Thanks for taking the time to watch! So for your car a light approach should be plenty.. something like the gRiots orange foam pad paired with the BOSS Correction cream would be more than enough to give the paint some good gloss, depth... and help remove a decent amount of defects. As well as the hologram. If your looking for more you could go more aggressive BUT I've done plenty of Hondas and that combo is great starting point. Very medium approach as far as aggression. You could always start with the BOSS Perfecting cream. Which Is a finish polish but it may not be enough to remove what your after. All in all feel free to ask any questions you may have. I'm here to help! 👍
I bet you held back a lot to not fix everything. Great job bro. I did a jeep this last weekend and kept telling myself, the customer only wants this much.Glad you showed hand polising!!👊👊
Oh most definitely took a LOT for me to not give it the smurf razzle dazzle!!! 😂 but! I refrained this time. Gotta know when to hold em, and when to fold em!!!😎🤙 appreciate you taking the time to watch!
Great review, Eric! I got some of this for Christmas and have yet to try it out, but I'm going to have to fix that soon. Definitely looks legit! If you get a chance to see this vehicle again, keep us updated on the longevity. I'd be interested in the real-world numbers. 👍
Hey Mark! 👋 absolutely will keep you all updated! You'd really enjoy this stuff! Please let me know as well when you do get the chance to use it as well😃🤜🤛🤙
Thanks Mark!!! ✊️ appreciate you watching! Oh yes, I wanted to use the ceramic 3-1 but I figured I'd give the base layer it's chance at a durability test. So the ceramic speed shine it was! Lol 😎
Absolutely can be used on a new vehicle. It's a great form of protection.. can also be hand applied as well. 👍👍 Thank you for taking the time to watch!
I'd use this with a finishing pad.. and wait 24hr then top with Ceramic Speed Shine... absolutely a phenomenal combo! Or you can just wait till after the first wash then wash and dry and top with the ceramic speed shine. Either way will work just fine👍
Great video and great job on that car. I never used any Griots products but everything I ever saw and heard about their stuff is positive. My wife’s silver Nissan rogue needs a little refresh on the exterior.I’ll have to give this a try. I agree with you about the clay mitts.they certainly are alot more aggressive than the clay cloths.the mitts cause some pretty heavy marring. Please keep the videos coming
Thanks my friend!!! Ohhh yes, perfect time to try this out! You'll absolutely love it. Pleasure to work with! Yes, the mitt put some heavy marring. But, I order my nanoskin clay towel again.. going back to my roots. Tried an true. I just figured I'd give it a shot since I had it! Lol appreciate you taking the time to watch!🤜🤛

I loved it. It was quicker and more efficient than meguiars. But like you said, you just can’t hold the polisher on it too long. Meguiars uses more and also is dusty but it’s easier to work with.
Benny, agree my friend! I absolutely enjoyed working with this stuff! It will be one of my go to AIO from here on out! 👍 appreciate you taking the time to watch!
How the flip did I miss this one!! I love the GG ceramic all in one wax!! I used it on 3 vehicles last year with great results.. it definitely brings back gloss and clarity!! Awesome stuff for sure.. One thing I did notice is if you let it sit for a long period of time it will separate...like to the point of where you think it's junk.. toss it.. don't do that lo.. shake it really well.. it took a good 3-4 minutes for mine.. but all of a sudden it just mixes up like it was new.. it's pretty crazy stuff.. I have tried to save a lot of separated products..and none of them have ever "fixed" this well.. almost like magic 😁👌
Hahaha all good Mn!!!! This stuff is AMAZING!!!! Really enjoyed working with it! The hydrophobics are awesome. If this stuff last ANYwhere near 12 months they will dominate the AIO game🤜🤛
Great video! Do you have a link to the pad you used? And also i bought a spta pad package i bought from amazon and has an orange pad could i use that? or is it different?
Thank you! Appreciate you taking the time to watch! I can get the link but it's the standard Griots Orange Correction pad 👍👍 if you have an auto zone near by they sell em! 😀 I'm not certain if they are the same but a basic medium cut foam pad would worm just fine. Doesn't need to be griots 🫡🤙

No problem! Thank you for taking the time to watch! 👍 you know, I'd probably say if you apply by hand it COULD be a topper to a coated vehicle. But since there are some abrasives I wouldn't use anything other than a soft wax pad. As if you weren't going for defect removal.
@PapaSmurf918 I've got a black Grand Cherokee next weekend that has tons of swirl marks but I don't think it has many deep scratches. I was thinking of using Papa Cut with Urofiber 50/50 or blue LC HDO pads followed by Griots All in One with an Orange LC HDO pad. Which pad do you think it will cut & finish better and do you think I'll need to use FAB Finishing Polish in between or will the AIO finish it down good enough?
I currently have the Next LED mini flood light as well as there big flood light. The mini has 4 different temps so overall a great light. There handheld is also great. I have the Maxshine handheld.. and the Astro pneumatic 50sl.. both are good but I'd definitely give the NextLED line a shot. @@PapaSmurf918Detaildopeeee I just checked your profile and saw your review on the nextled work light. Solid adjustability to see stuff on any color! 🤙🏻
Thanks man! ✊️ hmmm.. I've never used Uno Protect... so it's hard to give my opinion but I know a few buddies that use it an say it give em 2-3 months if that for Protection. Of course there are many variables. But I can say that this Griots Ceramic AIO is a winner. I'm very curious of the durability.. so I'll be getting it back in a few months🤙 appreciate you tuning in! 🙏
@@PapaSmurf918Detail yes Sir back in my younger days we would sprinkle a light bit of water using by hand we never had polishing machines back then😇🙏❤️
@johnparkerzabala oh ok I gotcha! Hmm. If it weren't a ceramic based product I'd absolutely mist the pad with a lil water 👍 however it's not good in dome cases to introduce water ad it may interfere with the bonding of it?? Is think. 😄
Sp to my belief.... this ceramic all in one is there first ceramic liquid product. They did have the ceramic 3-1 spray wax before this. But they were way late to ceramics.. you may be talking about best of show wax??? Or just the 3-1 wax. Grey bottle?
@@PapaSmurf918Detail it’s ceramic 3in1 but it’s mustard colored bottle. It must’ve been 1st batch. It is thinner consistency. I bought 3in1 ceramic like on the video(green) to compare. They smell the same but old mustard stuff has more ceramic it seems like. You really gotta shake the bottle. Both bottles have identical labels. Just one is mustard color. Works better imo. They must’ve changed the recipe after initial release.
Eric, question. I recently bought a year old 4 runner that at one point had a ceramic coating via the dealership. I believe, for the most part the coating is still intact, however in the light I can see quite bit of faint swirls throughout. Would this be a good solution to hit those swirls and at the same time boost the ceramic finish? Thank you in advance, bro.
Hey my friend! Thank you for watching ! As far as the " dealer " coating I don't believe in them unless they have genuine paperwork subleting to a professional installer of a coating. BUT this wouldn't be what your looking for. I'd strip it completely down, polish it and actually coat it👍👍👍 if it's genuinely coated you won't be able to correct defects without hindering the coating. Hope this makes sense!
Me too! He sold the car unfortunately 😒😒 however I bet at least 6 months. Stuff is great. And topped with ceramic speed shine? Yeah, I put a 6 months minimum on it. Griots 3-1 ceramic will last 4-6... if my calculations are somewhat on par.. 5-6 easy with this stuff. Used it twice in the past month👍👍
Hey bro! Not sure how to reach you so I'm posting here in hopes of you seeing it. I'm buying the Griot's G9 and will eventually use it for color correction. But for now, just to provide fast winter protection I clayed the car and have added one coat of Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. I'd like to use the G9 to add a 2nd coat of wax and would like to ask you if this is a good idea and can I use the G9 to remove and polish the wax. Pad recommendations would be greatly appreciated since I'm a total noob with any kind of polisher. Many thanks! Your vids are very much appreciated!
Hey my friend! No worries! I always take the time to reply to my supporters 👍 for future reaching out at Papasmurf918detail@gmail.com OR on Instagram you can DM me papasmurf918detail👍👍 So as far as your question goes, if you've already applied 1 layer then it's possible the pad might remove the 1st layer and just replace it with the 2nd.. if that makes sense?? You could apply a layer using a soft foam finishing pad or application pad absolutely 👍 the griots Red Wax pads are very soft and work very well. I probably wouldn't do a 2nd with the polisher. If it was me it would be 1st with polisher and 2nd by hand🤙 hopefully this helps!!!!
Thanks man. I assume I’d use a microfiber pad to remove the wax. I will use the G9 to apply the 2nd coat but only because I’m gonna bust if I don’t ‘play’ with the new G9! Lol. Again, thanks for all you do!@@PapaSmurf918Detail
@diodeone1 Ahhh I see! Umm I probably would not recommend removing with a microfiber pad. As far as playing with the G9, HAVE AT IT! Applying a 2nd coat via G9 certainly won't HURT anything! Have a blast 😎 Hey, thanks my friend. Really appreciate your support! Take care! And if you have ANY questions please reach out!🤙
Tom, I sure have. I love the Rupes Yellow foam pad and white foam pad. Polishing and ultra polishing. Great quality! I'd say they are a lil better than the griots pads for sure. At least the regular pads. My griots pads are like 3 years old. Since I think they have revamped them.. both good pads. Rupes seem to hold up better when worked longer. 🤜🤛
No.. not necessarily.. unless there is HEAVY defects... then you can compound.. and then use this AIO as a fishing polish.. that leaves great protection behind.. if the paint isn't bad, a 1 step with this will remove light defects and lay ceramic protection... 👍👍
Wow. That was cool. Funny. I used Griots Fast Correcting cream last night. Griots does make great products. I'll have to give that stuff a try. Update us on durability. Wish I could send you picture of the Silverado did last night. Turned out great. Give family giant hugs!!
Thanks Kim! Ohhh you know I love me some FCC!!! 😁😎 This stuff is GREAT! ILL definitely update everyone on the durability🤙 hugs all around! Take care, Kim!
Like I always tell Mrs FAB “I am always right” then she puts me back in place. 😂 I knew you would love it! So easy to use with fantastic results. When Griots claims a certain amount of time on their products it will usually hold up like they say. They do extensive in house testing before releasing a product. Car turned out great man! Now pop an Cherry Pepsi with a slice of pizza and you will feel complete.
I can see her reading this comment right now! Better hide! 🤣🤣🤣 Cherry coke it is! And I just had pizza on Saturday! And Sunday for breakfast 🤣 Definitely a great product.. man even if you get 6 months out of an AIO that's fantastic. Gonna be keeping an eye on this one!
I can't. I've never used 3d speed! Would love to try it though! 🤜🤛 my apologies.. griots says up to 12 months.. well if it gets anywhere close to that my bet is it will last longer than 3d speed. But that's just my guess.
Absolutely! This can be a final finish polish and protect and the same time. I'd recommend the BOSS creams over the Complete compound But if you already have it then by all means! 🤝👍 thank you for taking the time to watch!
Hahaha was the exact same way when I started!!! Trust me, you'd have to TRY an mess up paint especially with a foam pad! 👍👍👍 there are always exceptions... edges, corners, ect but it's hard to burn through...

@@PapaSmurf918Detaildopeeee I just checked your profile and saw your review on the nextled work light. Solid adjustability to see stuff on any color! 🤙🏻
@dkab1992 absolutely a phenomenal light! It's small but man does it pack a punch! I only need 50% mode too. So it lasts quite a long time. 🤙
Looking alot better. Do thinks rupes uno would have done better?
Thanks man! 🙏
Big difference 👍😎
Thanks Keith!!! ✊️
What about some few sprinkle of water by hand to slide?
Are you talking about when I was polishing by hand?
@@PapaSmurf918Detail yes Sir back in my younger days we would sprinkle a light bit of water using by hand we never had polishing machines back then😇🙏❤️
@johnparkerzabala oh ok I gotcha! Hmm. If it weren't a ceramic based product I'd absolutely mist the pad with a lil water 👍 however it's not good in dome cases to introduce water ad it may interfere with the bonding of it?? Is think. 😄
I still have bottle of the original mustard colored bottle. Then they switched to lime green m. Any difference? Speaking about griots all in 1 ceramic
@sushinktattoo1366 That's crazy, I've never seen a mustard color ceramic from Griots!!! Better save that! Might be one of a kind!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Great point. And Thanks for the heads up. Keep kicking your knowledge🤙 This was an excellent video.
@007diego2 anytime brother! Anything you need if I can help you know where to find me✊️🤜🤛
Curious if theres an update on how long it has lasted!
I knew it... If you clay your clear coat to remove " contamination" you have to do some type of buffing or polishing or both
Yes technically you need to polish after clay process.. especially on a softer clear!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail will not a type of iron removal solution not melt away the contamination to a degree....
What type of pad did you use on your polisher?
This is the Orange correction pad from Griots Garage 👍👍. Thank you for taking the time to watch ✊️✊️🤝
Hey I wanted to get that one in one and try it out
I highly recommend getting a bottle and trying it! Really impressed me! 😃
What would you say is better be turtle Wax one-and-done or the griots garage
One an done from turtle wax is not an AIO... There ceramic polish is and to compare those I'd put Griots on top for sure👍👍
Take care! And if you have ANY questions please reach out!🤙
Eric, have you used rupes pads? If so,how would you compare the two brands?
Tom, I sure have. I love the Rupes Yellow foam pad and white foam pad. Polishing and ultra polishing. Great quality! I'd say they are a lil better than the griots pads for sure. At least the regular pads. My griots pads are like 3 years old. Since I think they have revamped them.. both good pads. Rupes seem to hold up better when worked longer. 🤜🤛
Do you have to clay bar before using?
I'd always recommend clay/decontamination stage before polishing.. 👍👍 The Autofiber Holey Clay towel is a great option!
So with this information . Do I not need the compound, polish and best of wax ?
No.. not necessarily.. unless there is HEAVY defects... then you can compound.. and then use this AIO as a fishing polish.. that leaves great protection behind.. if the paint isn't bad, a 1 step with this will remove light defects and lay ceramic protection... 👍👍
Thank you for the reply. Very helpful
@@ForTheLowReviews No problem! 🤙👍
I use Sonax 02/06 AIO!
Ohhh I'll check that out! Always on the lookout for a great AIO!🤙🤙Thank you for tuning in!🤜🤛
What gives better gloss, Griot's Garage Ceramic All-In-One Wax or Turtle Wax Graphene Max To The Wax?
I'd go Griots over Turtlewax if I had to choose. Thanks for taking the time to watch👍
That car looks good
Thanks man! Definitely turned out great for what it was! And what I had to work with budget wise!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I can understand that
I appreciate you taking the time to watch!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I’m definitely going to have to try that stuff out
Crazy how in the Before pics it looks like a dark gray but in the After pics it looks gloss black
Right!? This thing took a huge transformation with very little effort! This is a winner in my books!👍 appreciate you taking the time to watch! 🫡✊️
@@PapaSmurf918Detail awesome video!!
Thanks brother! 🤝🤜🤛
I knew you would love it!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Well if she finds me I may be walking across the country to come live with you. 😂
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I'll throw another shoe on the grill.. plenty here🤣🤣🤣
How would you compare the griots to 3d speed?
I can't. I've never used 3d speed! Would love to try it though! 🤜🤛 my apologies.. griots says up to 12 months.. well if it gets anywhere close to that my bet is it will last longer than 3d speed. But that's just my guess.
I wish it could cut like Fast Correcting cream
Ohhh man! If this stuff cut like FCC it'd shut down the AIO battle for good!😁😁😁
Yep
Could I use the complete compound first than this .
Absolutely! This can be a final finish polish and protect and the same time. I'd recommend the BOSS creams over the Complete compound But if you already have it then by all means! 🤝👍 thank you for taking the time to watch!

Man I always feel like im going to ruin the paint with a polisher if I go to slow lol
Hahaha was the exact same way when I started!!! Trust me, you'd have to TRY an mess up paint especially with a foam pad! 👍👍👍 there are always exceptions... edges, corners, ect but it's hard to burn through...
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I have no idea about any of this so I’m browsing the videos. I hit my car with clean slate over the weekend then a clay bar. No clue on any wax I had butter wet wax so I hit it with that but idk if it’s any good. I’ll be grabbing some of this fersure
