I studied Mental Health in Australia and if someone has a 'go bag' it often means their life is at risk. It's generally pretty serious, because if you can't get to it in time, you can't 'go' and if you can't go, you could be dead or seriously harmed. It really means escape. It's that type of situation.

The go bag issue, everybody should have one. Especially if you live somewhere that natural disasters are a thing. If there was a natural gas pipeline leak in your neighborhood and you had to evacuate, do you want to be the person that has to go buy new undehweah just because you couldn't think ahead far enough to have a bag that you can just grab?

Dear Billydirkdiegler, < probably said before. it was an absolute enjoyable time Saturday night at the Delta center. I brought my girlfriend of 5 years with me. Her son actually works there and we watched the Jazz destroy the Spurs the next day. On our way back South to the shithole town of Blanding, UT we listened to your Monday morning podcast. Nothing but top notch reviews with the comics you have leading! Bianca was awesome and Dean as well. Those two I could say way too much about. “Religion” yea I had to answer your question during the show. Hope you come back to SLC it was a great time.

🇦🇺 Spent a month in Vancouver in '13 catching up with a bunch of mates from a metal band for whom I used to do some online work. Absolutely love the place.
It's kinda like the best parts of Sydney and Melbourne combined, but Bill is correct about the drugs on the street.
Sadly, that can be increasingly seen here at home.
Love your podcast ! A reason that I would have a go bag is because of being abused in a relationship prior. You never expect the man you love to all the sudden change and start being abusive and once it has happened to you it’s something you will never forget and never want to be stuck again so you have that just to feel safe.
Hold up a GO bag is made for emergencies like hurricanes, flooding etc. You put money and essentials in it so you can get up and go. So it could be either. Typically if you make a GO bag it would be a family effort lol.

I found out in my 50's that I'm asexual. I couldn't understand when I was in my teens, twenties, and early thirties why I didn't find any interest in sexual encounters. I should state that I'm a male. In my later 30's I met a woman who fell in love with me, and I felt the same toward her. We married, had two sons 4 years apart. Nine years later we divorced. I don't blame her at all. I couldn't be affectionate toward her the way she deserved to be loved by a man. It wasn't until I saw a therapist that I learned why. I wish I had known about this in my early twenties. It would have so much easier to cope with. Thats just my story, but I suppose there are others quite similar. It takes all kinds of vegetables to make a garden.

I had a bit of an issue almost like he did back in the day. I was 20 years old with a V card. Everybody around me seemed to be really into relationships and I felt somehow left out. Basically I've decided to do it with whomever just to know what all the fuzz is about. I knew that the girl I picked had a low social responsibility, so to speak, so it was just a couple nightstands things, no feelings involved. After doing it I felt not much different from before and without deeper connection the whole thing feels meaningless
The woman might have had a go-bag for any emergency evacuation circumstance - earthquake, tornado, etc. Some people do prepare for emergencies. If she's been with the guy for a long time though, it seems he would know that about her.
