Use ammonia doused on an old rag which is then hung up where the raccoons 🦝🦝 congregate. Refresh rag as needed to keep odor potent. This is what worked like a champ for us. Being kind to the animals was a priority for us, and the ammonia was a non-pain producing solution to get rid of the little critters. Try to wait for any newborns to be old enough to be able to get away from the ammonia smell.
