Advice. Most new comics have set ups that are too long. Cut out extra words. You have too many. Watch leno. He is in and out of the joke in seconds. Chop the extra words. Write what you are mad about, what you hate, what idiots people are. What ever gets you pissed off. You’ll see. Record yourself. One comic on last comic standing recorded it and counted the laffs per minute.
