First time i heard of Patrice was on that roast and became a fan instantly but sadly he'd just passed away. Now I've listened to hundreds of hours of him from his years on Opie & Anthony he really was something special. Elephant in the room is hilarious. It's good that his comedy is out there for people to always look back on there's not many comedians left who aren't afraid of offending people..

“i used to write jokes for PatriceO’Neal”🤦🏽‍♂️nah…U used to write jokes & go visit Patrice to work out your material so he could help U seperate the sugar from the shit, like
these jokes are useless, burn after reading, but these right here got potential to grow, so focus on how these can be better

I should have been more specific I did write jokes for Patrice but not for his stand up for his TV show pilot about Hip Hop news.

@@wethinkitsfunnypodcastYou should put a note in the video or a pinned comment because that’s very different.
Some comedians don’t mind taking jokes from other comedians. But there are many who take pride in writing all of their own material. Even if Patrice is dead, it’s disrespectful to give the impression that he got some of his material from other comedians.
