@@RikimaruLDR I think Bill nailed it. Society protects those kind of people now. The only thing to do is control yourself because you're sure as hell not going to control or change the other person. Work on controlling yourself first & foremost ... and I'm saying that just as much for me. I have a short fuse myself and if I were at that party I would have been VERY tempted to get in her face. A few drinks in me and I definitely WOULD have been in her face on behalf of the dude. That's why I like Bill so much. We short-fused people got to stick together and take care of each other.

An Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup is looking a lot more likely with the bruins and avalanche out. Sorry Billy Boy but that game was over as soon as Florida tied it with a minute left. The bruins looked so down on themselves after that goal. They just never recovered.

We watched, and we were hoping for Boston to go on. A Flames fan (his team on the golf course. Now he has to watch Oilers ( His wife's team True Blue). You need to make your way to Rogers Place in Edmonton. Love your sports talk. LA tries to draw penalties , Edmonton needed cooler heads. Cost us too many penalties earlier in that series

The injuries are worse now in Hockey specifically because they've drastically cut back on fighting and contact. The dangerous hits are the high-speed ones, not the punches, which are more common now because they removed the enforcers

@Bill Burr, I seriously have to wonder about a guy who is your age and still so worked up over watching other guys on skates chasing around an ice rink after a puck with their sticks.
