Lol, too many people have internet brain. People online see everyone playing steamdeck and are like,"lol, nintendo dead" but take a guess how many steam decks have sold in two years? Three million. Yup, just three million in two years. For context the switch sold over three million in its launch month back in 2017. Nintendo is fine.

the problem with triple a games is how they're not unique. it's always the same. every call of duty is always just a $70 update to the previous one. the new spiderman, while i haven't played it, just seems like spiderman 2018 but you can play as both spiderman and miles. rpgs are my favorite genre. they can tell a great story, but the gameplay is always so repetitive. ff16 is just a walking simulator with button mashing and some real easy combos. the story is good and it has some real memorable characters, but that's about it. totk however, is real unique and fun open-world experience. being able to create your own form of transportation and being able to combine items to create good weapons is smth no other company would've done. i don't like nintendo as a company, but they really do make the some of the best games
I guess it is. The ds era was a special era for Nintendo with many exclusive and technological gimmicks, I guess that applies to the wii too. But I don't think that applies to the switch. It hasn't that much interest exclusive or special gimmicks. Other consoles are more powerful, and most games now are available in almost all platforms too. Erm, no. Btw being a hybrid console is the “exclusive and special gimmick” of the switch, but frankly, i don’t see how gimmick are important.
@frantschou2369 While Nintendo has greedy similarities to Disney and the other triple AAA companies, thank God the games that Nintendo makes is nowhere near hot garbage as Disney and the other triple AAA companies.
