My skin stays hydrated and smooth and soft because of the exfoliation. I can skip shower sugar scrubs if I want. Or you can keep them. But it’s very nice over all

This is SO relevant for me in the moment. I am just finishing my bottle of Cerave SA, and bought a bottle of the same Amlactin you’re using here!! I am starting to use the Amlactin, but I don’t like the smell of it. I think over all, I like the Cerave better. Thanks for this video. Keep comparing, please! I like these!
Hi there. I hated the smell too…at first. Then I read the bottle (😂😊) & it says to shake well before use. So I started doing that and the yucky fragrance is greatly reduced.
I use both. I'm a fan of the Amlactin for my very rough skin on my feet. Being diabetic, it's super important to maintain good foot health. Cracks or fissures from dry skin are portals for bad infections. The down side is that the Amlactin doesn't smell great. Reminds me a lot of the Alpha Hydroxy 12% cream. I'm guessing that the lactate is the item with the odor. I also use Cerave everywhere else, including my face. Just keep it away from your eyes. I alternate Cerave SA with The Ordinary Retinol in Squalane and their Natural Moisurizing Factors with HA. This helps with both sloughing dry skin and retaining moisture (Cerave SA) and building up collagen (The Ordinary Retinol in Squalane and the moisure with hyaluronic acid). I really love Cerave because they are high quality with decent price points. The Ordinary products are the same. Very high quality ingredients in base serums to aid in readily absorbing their priducts. The Ordinary has both online customer support and phone support to help you know which products can be combined together so you are only treating what you need. I've been dealing with chronic medical conditions requiring a lot of procedures and surgeries over the last 4 years. My skin looked like I was way older than 61. I started using both Cerave products and The Ordinary products about a year ago. My skin has shed about 20 years. I can tell the difference if I skip a day or two. My skin starts flaking again; rosacea flares; and my pores on my nose start plugging up and dilating. I adore the Cerave creamy cleanser that foams up with water. I do an oil cleanse first, then follow with Cerave. Last, I use The Ordinary AHA/BHA peel. It's a chemical peel that takes 10 minutes. Really does an excellent job of removing dead skin. And don't forget your sunblock! I use Elta MD tinted because I can use that alone over moisture, then a light, everyday makeup.
I've used both the I saw about a 15% improvement with the Amlactin. About a 35% improvement with the Cerave. I ended up combining the Cerave lotion with the Cerave SA body wash and got them 75% clear.
I have found that combining CeraVe SA Rough & Bumpy body wash + Amlactin Rapid Relief lotion has really been helpful to all but eradicate my KP when I use them consistently!
@@Lesaly yes, the addition of the bodywash really is a game changer. I give it acouple of minutes before I wash it off. My skin is doing so much better with just a few bumps here and there.
I use a 2% SA wash, followed by the Eurcerin rough relief (urea, lactic acid, ceramides) in the morning. At night, I use verse retinol body wash. This routine has helped keep my body acne and KP at bay.
That’s my favorite moisturizer! I did recently start using the Amlactin 15% on my arms and backs of my hands to reduce hyperpigmentation. I think I’m already seeing improvement. Thank you, Dr. Dray!
@@franameri6590 thank you! I've bought Keratone KP off Amazon but that was before I tried to use more than regular lotion. I'll try your recommendation
Thanks Doc.... I started using SA cream and my skin is in heaven. It's so calm and soft. I couldn't find anything that worked. I even use it on my face, and my skin is extremely soft and clear. I owe you at least a dinner for making my life wonderful again. Many thanks ❣️
Yes, Amlactin did sting when I used it on my body previously - uncomfortable. I do need something for my legs, especially the shins (dry area), which is why I will get the CeraVe SA Lotion in the future. At the moment, I'm just using CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion for that area (along with sunscreen).
dr dray I have been following you for years and I love you, I love this kind of video (product battles) it helps people to better understand where to orient themselves and not to spend unnecessarily money since there is a wide choice and ignorant people in medicine and chemistry dont know how to read the ingredients ... keep it up these videos have potential, a hug from Italy
I so appreciate this video. I have both products on my counter. My preteen daughter struggles with KP on her face and body (and both products reduce on the body). Her face is soo stubborn to treat and the products are too harsh, poor kid. Will look at your facial rec’s. Have a beautiful day!
9:06 I haven’t had eczema flares in several years, I was Rx’d Dr.Aron’s compound recipe for vanicream, but if I put that on BEFORE the AmLactin I was using at the time, it didn’t sting where the flare was. I have not had a flare in about three years now though (except on the back of my head, where I can’t get it to go away… it started after some chemical burns in a salon almost two years ago)
Thanks for the product comparison. Cerave is available in australia but Amlactin is only on amazon or iherb. I gave up on tretinoin for my 4yo as we didn't see results after using it for 2yrs. We still use the sa lotion. I didn't realise it had that many benefits. Will try to be more consistent. He loves palmers coconut body oil and wants to use that every day, but it only moisturises.
Yes, she's right. Amlactin will cause inflammation and red bumps on the face, it did it to mine. However, for the body, it works great for chicken skin, when used consistently.
I have not tried the amlactin but can say I’ve been using the cerave SA for about a year now. Using the neutrogena body clear scrub and the cerave SA lotion has gotten my KP well under control. I alternate products so I’m not using them both in the same routine.
Thanks for the video Dr. Dray! Coincidentally, just today I saw some articles circulating that parabens may increase breast cancer risk in black women. I saw your previous videos debunking myths on parabens and was curious about what the evidence suggests for women of color and/or if any new studies have been done (or whether these new articles are not based on solid evidence). Would love to see a video on this!!
Not just Dr Dray but folks such as Lab Muffin and even The Eco Well channel have discussed the fearmongering from groups like the EWG about parabens and how it's created more problems than anything helpful.
As is my understanding the study that set all this off only looked at 20 women and even then it only showed the presence of parabens in the breast. We're a very long way from establishing that's the cause of anything. Even the author of that study admits to it being flawed and not saying what people think it says.
I have used both for at least 2 years. I found cerave helped a little bit more, it kept my skin feeling moisturized for longer and that helped diminish the "look" of KP on me. Amlactin definitely has a stronger smell to it and it did help me but it never made my skin feel moisturized for very long.
Which do you honestly think significantly improved your KP on your legs and body?? Making it smoother and softer overtime? Was it the Cerave or Amlactin? I want to know which one is better so I can purchase it. Idk if I should purchase one or both of them.
Thank you for this. My 10 year old daughter has very bad KP that she’s scratched and inflamed. I already bought her the cerave SA wash and lotion but it’s not enough. I’ve just ordered the Amlactin KP lotion (more concentrated) on Amazon for her and hopefully she can go back to the cerave once the amlactin gets it under control. I had KP myself but it resolved when I corrected a B6 and zinc deficiency.
I think you would be the perfect person to publish a book detailing cosmetic ingredients in skin care, hair care & lotions, etc and their uses, purpose and derivatives. I've looked for years for a comprehensive book listing these types of ingredients. I have yet to find a good one. Please, please do it! 😃
There are sites that do list ingredients and their purpose such as incidecoder and cosdna. There are even ingredients libraries on sites like Paula's Choice and Dermstore.
I've used both the Amlactin lotion and CeraVe's SA cream in the tub. I prefer the CeraVe because it works well and the odor of Amlactin is strongly like Elmer's glue. I couldn't get past it. :-( It probably works great but I hated the smell of it. CeraVe's SA cleanser is also great for dry, rough skin. :-)
Love your videos, vlogs, shop with me etc. Incredible how you have passion to make videos everyday, edit and upload. I’m happy that I found your channel, you are gem ❤️
(I use both as a keratosis pilaris victim) I will say the cerave makes my forehead (Where I use it) look greasy, but it does take it off as good as Amlactin. Both are really good at taking it off or reducing the look of the bumps, but I would use the amlactin in the mornings and the cerave at night. Or you could use just amlactin!
Thanks for the comparison. I’ve been using Amlactin (daily formula) to keep surface ingrown hairs on my legs away. Works well. I read they are cruelty free, but I could be wrong. I recently bought the intensive one (blue label) because of the ceramides. Only thing I don’t like is that it’s a little (naturally) stinky, but I can deal with that since I only use it at night and it’s really not that bad, plus I prefer fragrance free.
Both Amlactins have a smell when I apply to my skin and it is not pleasant but it does dissipate or I wouldn’t use it. I love the results so I still use. I like CerVe too but AmLactin seems to work faster! I’ve noticed too the smell only activates after applying it doesn’t stink straight from the bottle which makes me think it’s reacting to something in the skin. Maybe the lactic acid?
@@lisagoolsby3791 could not agree with you more about this! Love the Amlactin; I was surprised at how many reviews of their Rapid Relief lotion complained about the “noxious” scent… I mean, while it doesn’t exactly emit a pretty/pleasant scent, I have found any scent dissipates quickly when absorbed in the skin anyway! I have had wonderful experiences with Amlactin (Daily relief and Rapid relief formulations at least) as it is relatively inexpensive & has worked quickly and thoroughly for my KP!
@@laurenpetro4807 Both varieties of Amlactin helped this issue for me; however, I feel Amlactin ‘Rapid Relief’ formula works better for me. Also, combining Amlactin with CeraVe SA body wash has been a winning combination!
Thanks, Dr. Dray, for all your hard work and for putting out so many great contestants. In my experience using Amlactin in my nighttime routine on my neck in ten days, my creep skin got 50% better. And it’s not a joke. Try it yourself.
Hi I just planning to use Amlactin…i usually use RETINOL in the night skincare…but my doubt is can I use Amlactin moisturizer after Retinol for my dark neck??
I do not have KP, but, at your suggestion, I've started using AmLactin just make my skin glow. It seems to work. And the price is right. I've stopped using my expensive moisturizer and now only use the AmLactin.
Thanks Dr. Dray for the comparison. Amlactin stings slightly for me and is very stinky, so I threw it away after using it twice. Trying retinol body lotion now: Versed (great) and Paula’s choice (will be next; it is on sale currently)
I Personal Loy use the versed body retinol as well. I do love it and it’s so much more affordable than paulas choice. I also use the amlactin which I really enjoy. I guess I’m the weirdo who doesn’t mind the smell 😅
I just made my husband a lab rat. I have both products and the amylactictin blue label. I will update but cereve immediately absorbed into his right side while the amlactin took way longer to rub in. I covered both sides of his body with petroleum jelly. I will update as to which side is more hydrated but I liked that the cerave soaked in way faster. I only put on his body. Not face.
I tried that one because of budget lol The Amlactin definitely is worth the investment. Could be because my skin seems to really like lactic acid anyway. It lasts a bit longer than the gold bond too.
An alcaline soap was the best treatment for me. And moisturizing afterwards but really, alcaline soap. It's also great for greasy hair (from harsh detergents, not for people with naturally oily skin).
I prefer Eucerin advanced repair lotion which has urea and 3 ceramides and a little bit of lactic acid . I usually layer it on top of my 7% glycolic acid serum from the ordinary
I just got the blue labeled amalactin. I love it. My skin is hyper sensitive but it really likes it. When i 1st put it on i was nervous. But its worked out a lot of the sensitivities since a few days ago
Weirdly in the UK cerave SA smoothing lotion has a totally different ingredient list without ammonium lactate but urea and niacinamide 🙄. It's a fantastic product though!
That's because the American version contains 3% salicylic acid, which is considered unsafe by UK regulations. Salicylic acid in skincare products absorbs into the blood and can cause salicylate poisoning in high doses, so the UK and EU both restrict salicylic acid in body moisturisers to 0.5%.
@@rubysresource OMG! This explains why i always get abdominal cramps the moment i use salicylic acid i thought it was all in my head. Have tried the 2% don’t know if a lesser amount will give me the same effect
I'm a pharmacist in the EU, and we make even 5% ASA cream, which you can get without prescription. (In a different country, but EU rules should apply the same way, so I think the law is different)
I had some serious crusty feet with large open cracks and calisus, I used the blue 12% bottle of am lactic and my cracks are gone . My feet are softer than a baby's bottom it to 3 weeks of consistent use day and night to heal. Now I use it once daily for maintenance 😊
I just started using the CeraVe lotion ( its been maybe 2 weeks) and I’ve already seen results. I’m using it mainly on the back of my upper arms as well as target areas on my thighs and knees. It doesn’t sting but you can definitely feel it on the skin, it doesn’t seem to absorb completely. I don’t mind as long as it works though!
Yasss this is what i need.. 🙏 please do more about versus between great products.. Love ya so much Dr.Dray, i've been watching your video for a long time, although sometimes I'm struggling with the language since i'm not fluent in english by the way keep on educate us
Me who started to watch this video like let's know which one is better after a minute realising both of them are not available in India but still continues to watch it
I alternate between SA, urea and lactic acid body lotions. I sometimes combine all three at the same time. I just get a squirt from each bottle. LOL. P.S. Cerave’s SA Smoothing Cream contains all three ingredients but in lower concentrations.
I would rather wash with a salicylic acid 2% cleanser then I would use amlactin blue bottle as a lotion because it has ceramides that decrease crepey skin 4:40 lactic acid increases hyaluronic acid in skin 1:40.
I sometimes use Amlactin on my face after I saw it in one of your videos. My face always feels so much softer the morning after. I can't overdo it, though. Made that mistake once and ruined my skin barrier 🙊 I use it once a week at most.
Thank you!! I’ve always gone back and forth between these two products along with the blue and white amalactin! I love them both but always curious to see which one would Be better
I had a big bottle of Amlactin, but took 5 years to get through it because I didn't like the smell and I didn't know it was recommended for KP, just thought it was "lotion:. I have no idea why I originally bought it, but I always thought the name was wierd and reminded me of "I Am Lactating". Anyway, I wish I had known about treating KP sooner. KP was the scourge of my adolescence. Back in 1982, when I was 12 or so, my Mom would pick at my KP and I would say "Ouch!" and then my dad would yell to my Mom "Stop it, T***!" and then she would tell me to shush and not squeal so loudly as she defied my father's orders. It was torture and one of the many things my parents did that eroded my sense of self and my confidence. And for such a stupid little reason. I want to spread the word and prevent other people from being tormented for such a stupid reason.
Dermatologists look on what only works on the outside of skin. Cerave contains some parabens and other carcinogenic substances. There are products on the market that have similar effect but will not cause harm to your body.
I just buy the OG Amlactin when it goes on sale at Costco, which is every few months. Never tried the Cerave one. But I'm considering Eucerin urea body cream to try out.
Same here. I always buy the Amlactin Daily in the green bottle when it's on sale at Costco, I love me some Costco, and I use the Amlactin after my shower and my KP is almost completely gone and my skin is silky smooth. I could never get the Cera Ve for the sale price of the Amlactin and the bottom of the Cera Ve is much smaller so for me, it's Amlactin for the win.
I switched to the Gold Bond one after finishing up the AmLactin. The GB doesn't work as fast but 100% smells better and absorbs more quickly, IMHO. I'm interested in trying the Cerave SA now after watching this video.
thank you reminding about cerave sa serie, need to go get bottle of cleanser, however sa lotion is really thick. and thank you for your videos - my favorite channel
CeraVe list a lot of nice ingredients, but don't mention the amount. If it were an effective amount, don't you think they'd mention it on their packaging like AmLactin, who put theirs front-and-center?
I tried both and didn’t find them to be that effective… I just wonder why CeraVe or other widely available brands don’t develop a KP lotion with a decent concentration of glycolic acid. It’s the most effective acid I’ve tried, so far
I've started using The Ordinary 1% retinol in squalene on my arms and then a moisturiser. I'd rather know what percentage retinol I'm putting on rather than whatever is in Advanced Clinicals or paying a fortune for Paula's Choice. I'm also thinking just using their 30% AHA and 2% BHA peel on my legs before I shower for 15 minutes see what that does. Cheaper too. CeraVe SA cream does nothing much plus it's horribly thick and greasy. I can't wash it off, I'm wiping grease off my legs after a shower the next day! We can't get the lotion in Australia plus I'm cf now anyway.
I may be jumping the gun at 3:46 to say this, but wouldn’t the SA be redundant, since I already use a body wash with 2%SA in it, for my KP skin? I only recently started using AmLactin’s Intensive Healing lotion, and it’s actually working better than the 10% Rx lotion I’ve been using. I wish there was a high retinol body lotion, since it’s the only thing that’s ever fully helped mine. I’m hoping to get electrolysis, because mine causes severe scarring abscesses, and I’m desperate at this point 😬
Prefer Amlactin. CeraVe SA lotion was moisturizing, but didn't slough my rough patches as well. I also like that the Amlactin formula is very simplified with fewer, but still effective ingredients. Think the 12 percent lactic acid in Amlactin also makes the formula more effective than CeraVe.

Personally, I love the Eucerin product with Urea as I find it just wears better on me. The feel is a little nicer and it’s fantastic. Just like the Zeroid facial cream. LOVE ! Have a great day and thanks for another great vid. See ya later. Rick
I use both! 😃
I love the Eucerin product too.
hi can i ask what the name of the eucerin product is? ty
@@nananyangii Eucerin Intensive Repair Very Dry Skin. I actually use it lightly on my Face a couple times a week (not under eyes). It's wonderful for neck, arms, decollette', legs, etc. Update: see below for the correct name of the product I use.
@@franameri6590 thanks! does it soak into the skin right away? the eucerin lotion i have right now is very sticky and stays tacky on the skin which i dont like
This is SO relevant for me in the moment.
For me the Cerave didn’t work as well. I definitely prefer the amlactin one.
The AmLactin + Eucerin 30% Urea lotion after showering with the Fur KP Scrub = heaven
Did it help get rid of the redness?
Have you guys tried the soap bar version? They didn’t sell the body wash at my local store so I bought the bar. I’m also using it with cerave lotion
@@basil33 yes, I switched to the bar. It last longer and is cheaper than the body wash. Works just the same.
YESS!!! This video is for kp arms. Thanks Dr, Dray. 😁😁😁😁
thanks for watching
I use a 2% SA wash, followed by the Eurcerin rough relief (urea, lactic acid, ceramides) in the morning. At night, I use verse retinol body wash. This routine has helped keep my body acne and KP at bay.
Thank you! I might try this
This is so helpful thank you
I love all products from the Cerave SA line. Theyre so helpful with my body acne!
I prefer Eucerin Roughness Relief. It really helped both of my boys with kp. We have Cerave as well and like it, but the Eucerin is so good.
That’s my favorite moisturizer!
I did recently start using the Amlactin 15% on my arms and backs of my hands to reduce hyperpigmentation. I think I’m already seeing improvement.
Thank you, Dr. Dray!
What washes or soaps do you use for them prior to application?
@@davyjones2032 Vanicream Gentle Face Wash for Face. For Body, Aveeno Restore Gentle Wash or just any gentle fragrance free soap bar
@@franameri6590 thank you! I've bought Keratone KP off Amazon but that was before I tried to use more than regular lotion. I'll try your recommendation
@@davyjones2032 Honestly , I just use the Cerave cleaning bar or the Eucerin bar if I can find it.
I think Alba botanical has a moisturizer with SA in it. I love their lotions.
I think Alba botanical has a moisturizer with SA in it. I love their lotions.
Only if u have cuts, otherwise it doesn't burn
This is perfect timing since my dermatologist just told me to try the Amlactin. Thanks!
Taking 10g collagen daily has made an enormous difference in my lifelong kp
Love the Cera Ve rough and bumpy It works so beautifully. Can’t compare to Amalactin as I have never tried
dr dray I have been following you for years and I love you, I love this kind of video (product battles) it helps people to better understand where to orient themselves and not to spend unnecessarily money since there is a wide choice and ignorant people in medicine and chemistry dont know how to read the ingredients ... keep it up these videos have potential, a hug from Italy
In my experience, Amlactin works way better in reducing flare-ups.
Dr. Dray, thank you for continuously educating your subscribers about ingredients in skin and body care. I learned something new today!😊
I really love CeraVe. They have yet to let me down personally. Thank you as always Dr.Dray! you are forever my favorite!
thanks for watching
Dear dr. Dray I love and appreciate your channel so much, it's one of the very few reliable and genuine skin care products review channels I visit 😘😘😘
I love Amlactin. It makes my skin smooth and it gives me a glow.
Yes, she's right. Amlactin will cause inflammation and red bumps on the face, it did it to mine. However, for the body, it works great for chicken skin, when used consistently.
El almactin no es para la cara
Caucasians as well on some studies although the scientific ones are difficult to understand. It has been too long since my last statistics course.
I use the CeraVe SA lotion and cream as facial moisturizers. Love CeraVe‼️
Thank you for this! I was wondering if it could be used on my face.
@@DC-pr2bq Yeah, it's very off-putting. :-P
Agreed, but it dissipates quickly. I’ve noticed that scent with some other products containing lactic acid.
CeraVe SA cleanser is amazing for gentle exfoliation!! No more scrubs for me 🚫
I’ve used cerave for my KP, it made my skin super smooth and got rid of the bumps but it didn’t do much for the dark pigments of the bumps.
I love that you’re comparing similar products!
Love your videos, vlogs, shop with me etc. Incredible how you have passion to make videos everyday, edit and upload. I’m happy that I found your channel, you are gem ❤️
I've tried so many lotions and what works best for me is the original Aveeno.
Good afternoon! I did have a lot of stinging with Amlactin, but never had a problem with any CeraVe product, which I have been using for years.
You may at first but after awhile your skin gets used to it. At least for me. 😊
Did it help with the red bumps/dots where the hait follicles and the hair are coming through?
@@laurenpetro4807 Both varieties of Amlactin helped this issue for me; however, I feel Amlactin ‘Rapid Relief’ formula works better for me.
Also, combining Amlactin with CeraVe SA body wash has been a winning combination!
@@Lesaly I'd have to stop it 2 weeks before a laser tattoo removal.
Agree on that smell. It’s why I used up my bottle and never repurchased.
Agree! That smell is horrible!
I thought so too, but once I began shaking it up (it says to do this on the bottle) I noticed that the yucky smell was all but gone. 😊
@@Pamela-B interesting
I Personal Loy use the versed body retinol as well. I do love it and it’s so much more affordable than paulas choice. I also use the amlactin which I really enjoy. I guess I’m the weirdo who doesn’t mind the smell 😅
I just made my husband a lab rat. I have both products and the amylactictin blue label. I will update but cereve immediately absorbed into his right side while the amlactin took way longer to rub in. I covered both sides of his body with petroleum jelly. I will update as to which side is more hydrated but I liked that the cerave soaked in way faster. I only put on his body. Not face.
Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy should be compared. It's more affordable than Amlactin and has SA as well.
I don’t like that, it pills

@@resamiller66 umm no
I tried that one because of budget lol
The Amlactin definitely is worth the investment. Could be because my skin seems to really like lactic acid anyway. It lasts a bit longer than the gold bond too.
I've had great luck with the Amlactin Rapid Relief at 15%.
Amlactin rapid relief (pump bottle with blue text) has ceramides and is a smidge stronger than the green. I really like it!
Thanks Dr Dray, have used both and have had better results with the Amlactin I believe.
Thank you so much for helping and making the video about KP🌸🌸🌸
I use the CeraVe right after my shower and then Lanaté (ammonium lactate) half an hour later. Smoother results than using one by itself.
I love when you compare drugstore brands vs. high end ones....esp these days.👍
I don’t care for the scent and sting of AmLactin, will give CeraVe a try. It is nice that AmLactin is less expensive at Costco.
I had some serious crusty feet with large open cracks and calisus, I used the blue 12% bottle of am lactic and my cracks are gone . My feet are softer than a baby's bottom it to 3 weeks of consistent use day and night to heal. Now I use it once daily for maintenance 😊
I bought the Cerave SA i can’t wait for results
I just started using the CeraVe lotion ( its been maybe 2 weeks) and I’ve already seen results. I’m using it mainly on the back of my upper arms as well as target areas on my thighs and knees. It doesn’t sting but you can definitely feel it on the skin, it doesn’t seem to absorb completely. I don’t mind as long as it works though!
Any update? Thanks!

by the way keep on educate us
Me who started to watch this video like let's know which one is better after a minute realising both of them are not available in India but still continues to watch it
I alternate between SA, urea and lactic acid body lotions. I sometimes combine all three at the same time. I just get a squirt from each bottle. LOL. P.S. Cerave’s SA Smoothing Cream contains all three ingredients but in lower concentrations.
Ah, that's why it's garbage then. I hate the stuff but it's all we can get in my country. So thick and greasy too.
Such a wealth of information thank you - like our very own encyclopedia
I would rather wash with a salicylic acid 2% cleanser then I would use amlactin blue bottle as a lotion because it has ceramides that decrease crepey skin 4:40 lactic acid increases hyaluronic acid in skin 1:40.
Happy Monday Dr Dray ... see you tomorrow x💙🤩
I love them both but always curious to see which one would
Be better
Love this type of video!! Thank you for your hard work, much appreciated!! 💖💖💖
Good morning Dr. Dray 🫶 I have Keratosis Pilaris and use gold bond rough and bumpy cream!
I switched to the Gold Bond one after finishing up the AmLactin. The GB doesn't work as fast but 100% smells better and absorbs more quickly, IMHO. I'm interested in trying the Cerave SA now after watching this video.
@@kelly1827 yes, same! Going to buy the body wash too!
my dermatolgist reccomended amlactin for the tiny rough bumps on my face and it works
thank you reminding about cerave sa serie, need to go get bottle of cleanser, however sa lotion is really thick. and thank you for your videos - my favorite channel
CeraVe list a lot of nice ingredients, but don't mention the amount. If it were an effective amount, don't you think they'd mention it on their packaging like AmLactin, who put theirs front-and-center?
I found that Eucerin Advanced Repair cream works better than either of these for KP. For me, urea makes the difference.
I agree
I tried both and didn’t find them to be that effective… I just wonder why CeraVe or other widely available brands don’t develop a KP lotion with a decent concentration of glycolic acid. It’s the most effective acid I’ve tried, so far
What percentage of glycolic acid would be effective for severe KP
In Europe we only have the SA CeraVe on cream, not on lotion. Furthermore the INCI differs from the American INCI.
