The fact he's using the cocoon to show how the alien becomes machine like is great and makes complete sense

I've got my heart pounding and shivers down my spine. This guy obviously can do his legwork when it comes to adaptations, and now he's speaking of resurrecting AVP with that other guy from Prey? That sounds too good to be true...

It’s nice to see some AVP love from Fede. Its good to know he appreciates the history of the alien franchise including the crossover with the predator franchise.
Excellent Interview! I can accept the chestburster to adult explanation. That seems logical to me in terms of movie physics.
After Prometheus and Alien Covenant, I had theorized that David was going to somehow sacrifice himself to create the finalized form/version of the xenomorph. The xeno from Covenant looked more organic than Alien and Aliens. And because David sees himself as a superior or God-like being, he decides to sacrifice himself to perfect his "creation" by giving the xeno the mechanical part of its biomechanical design.

I think we've seen enough of Alien vs Predator. I'd prefer to see stand alone Alien movies at this point. If they ever team the Alien up with something else they should try a different character. Maybe Batman or Judge Dredd vs Aliens, seeing as there were comics of that done previously. Or perhaps The Thing vs Aliens; That could be a neat concept.

Great questions. Im a big fan of predator and also avp games(movies not so much) and im not into that crossover again, it was fun, but i feel like aliens franchise quality goes down with those movies. Im more into making well done movies like Romulus that respect the creature and expand the lore.
I would like to know if theres any conection between romulus and new alien serie.
