The worst school lockdown experience I have had is when we had to lockdown because two teenagers just ORDERED DOMINO’S and ATE IT in the lawn in front of our school and then left. I was like, “I WANT DOMINO’S LET ME OUT OF THIS CLASSROOM NOWWWW” but it sucks cause it probably wasn’t gluten free. 😢😂

Yesterday I almost died while listening to the "I almost died podcast", STORY BELLOW
Alright so once upon a time, this summer, I was in middle of nowhere and decided to take my bike and go to the store as no one was home except my younger siblings, I took my bike to go buy some food, meanwhile listening to the "I almost died podcast" it's when he got into a car accident in his rented motor bike, the roads are not roads just sand, pure sand. I somehow managed to get onto a broken cement road and all of a sudden I see 5-7 stray dogs, as everyone knows (I suppose) you shall slow down and continue to get past them slowly so you don't startle them, (keep in mind I was going fast) so I attempt to push the breaks but it doesn't work, the dogs start barking and running to catch me like I'm a ball, there were only houses and a desert, one of the dogs almost grabbed my shoes off the pedal and bit it, but now I know I'm 100% gonna get bit or something, next thing I see is a big brick wall, I crash into it, my bike flies and I get stuck in the bike, rolled over, at that point adrenaline is rushing bens podcast still playing, I get up and cover myself with the bike to protect me fr getting bit and I see them running off to a distance and start barking at me, I slowly back away and I check myself, I'm bleeedding everywhere, I don't see anybody to ask for help so I get on my bike, and head back, realize my tire popped from flying into the wall, so I get off and slowly slowly head back home (took me like 40 mins to get back) I got back home, dreading with sweat and my leg bleeding and other places, grandma helps me and the end.

at my school, it did look like a prison, there were huge fences with points at the end and all the fences were locked at all times apart from when ur entering school + when ur coming out, even then the teachers would guide us out 😭😭
As a student I honestly need to thank you for covering these subjects, I don’t feel safe in school at all and we are just expected to be okay with it

When you get chicken pox as an adult its called Shingles, and it is really bad. The virus stays in your body for years and reactivated when you are older. My mom got them and it was so excruciatingly painful she was given a prescription of Vicodin for the pain, which is kinda rare these days if you are seeing a reputable doctor. The blisters spread from the middle of your back, originating from the spine. She got them in her mouth and all over her waist. It lasted for almost a month. I've never seem my mom cry like she did when she had Shingles, and it doesn't matter how health you are. She was fortunate though, some people get them and the rash affects the eyes, a coworker of hers went blind from Shingles. Its really serious!

Here's a near-death experience of mine: So it was like 3:17 and we were packing up because it's almost time for us to leave and there was a level one lockdown(No one can leave the school) so we thought nothing of it. So I and my friends were sitting in the corner of our class because we were packed up and we're talking then they said it was a level two lockdown(you can't leave your class until they say so) so I and my friends were like “Ummm we are gonna die????” then our teacher started telling us about lockdown where there was a bomb threat! And at that moment, a cop car drove past our school so I and my friends were freaking out even more. Then I said, “Why would they put us in level two if it's not bad??” Then they said on the loudspeaker that they were sending our parents emails and texts saying that they can come to pick their kids because it's a lockdown then they said that the lockdown is over and we went to car-riders and my mom was first and when we were driving away from the school she just got the text and email so I was shaking.
im in grade 9 rn, and grade 7 was cut short on march of 2020 when they saw covid cases rise, grade 8 was full virtual, and grade 9 rn is in person but alot of people are getting covid

dude this afternoon my little sister was on her school bus for 2 HOURS before she got off and her bus driver (who was a substitute) didnt know where we live so they were going all over the city until HE (yes it was a he which worried me even more if you know what i mean) finally dropped her off at a random place in our neighborhood bc her friend told him to stop there and drop them off and my little sister said that she wouldve just given him our address but he seemed really mad and she said she was too scared to say anything. she is safe and home thank god

Worst lockdown I had was when the fire alarm went off. I was in 4th grade. It was the middle of the winter. The fire alarm went off and all of us "older" kids were freaking out because we knew that the monthly fire drill had already happened. We all were standing outside in 20 degree weather. We weren't aloud to bring our coats, nothing. An hour later, everyone, including the teachers were freaking out. There were police cars outside, ambulances, and fire trucks. Kids were crying, some were screaming to call their parents, and one lived really close to the school and ran home. We ended up going over to the highschool. The elementary school was super close to the highschool, not even half a mile. The whole school walked over there and we sat in the gym for another 2 hours. Kids were crying, screaming, but then we got sent home. Later on we found out it was SOME DUMB KID PULLING THE FIRE ALARM! He was the first kid expelled from that school.

When he started talking about our experiences in school- bro my school said there’s no online school choice, and my friend who is in person said that there was a person on zoom -_-. now I have to do the work at home without school approval :’)
I had one in middle school because a kid in like 4th grade ran out of the school ran across the street and left he literally had teachers sending students back to class to have a indoor recess because the kid came back with a stick looking for a teacher to hurt because the teacher he was looking for took away his chrome book after smashing it cause he lost a game. The teachers called the police and he was taken after hiding in a bush kids where crying and spreading rumours and one kid said she was gonna switch schools. Later they explained he was going through a hard time at home.We haven’t seen this kid since and this happened in the middle of the school year.His friends are anxious and hope to see him return. Ps no teachers where hurt and he is safe with is family.

We had a bom bom threat in kindergarten, it was like the first couple months too. We went to a high school and sat there in the gym jokes on them cause the threat was from a kid who went there. :) It was very fun cause our parents came to pick us up and I got ice cream.

Nahhh the security in your elementary school was so bad, in mine we turned the lights of, locked the doors, built full on baracades against the door with all the desks and chairs, our teachers had weapons like bats or crowbars, and we all huddled up in the cubbies behind our backpacks with scisors or rulers lmao I live in America btw so the threats tend to be a little more likely of happening which is probably why we were so prepared, we literally have it drilled in our minds to be ready for war it feels like 💀
