Yeah a bunch of Indian kids going with education visa got held and interrogated for 24 hours and then got deported. No matter what the situation is these kids got traumatized and had their life changed because of this.

im super proud of you for being able to do this and persisting to live here. it took my mom eight years to be able to fully move into the United States, and my dad helped her with a lot of it. Moving here wasn't easy but it was DEFINITELY worth it, I think I can say that for a lot of people who moved here. We appreciate you Ben!! You making a video about this topic is super awesome than u might think.

Hi ben, I have a drama for ya: so my school got on the news because there was a huge fight and many people got hurt especially the teachers, one of then got a black eye, one got injured on the leg..but anyways, the whole reason of this fight is because of TWO girls, who got in a argument on social media and they were talking bad about people. There was not one,two,three but four fights in the same day cause of that, I'm recently got back to school and many teachers quit cause of this whole mess. ANYWAYS LOVE YOU BEN!!❤❤

Hey ben, I got some drama. So this kid at school is always creep to the girls. He would claim to be asking out a different girl everyday, and would even follow her for the rest of the day. Anyway, one day he started teling people he liked this girl in the grade below us. The problem with this isn't that shes a grade below him, but that the girl is my classmate's younger sister. This resulted in the kid starting to tell everyone that there was going to be a fight. The fight would apparently take place where my friends and I always sat, so we decided to see what happens. My classmate didn't even want to fight, the boy was the one who wanted to seem cool, while my classmate just wanted to tell him to stop hitting on his sister. Once they got outside, they started arguing and cussing each other out. The boy sat down near us, and started telling him that he didn't like his sister (even though he clearly did.) and started
kicking my classmate. My classmate got sick of this and slapped him. He started crying and holding his face. After talking to other people, apparently the slap could be heard from across the cafeteria. Long story short, we got questioned by our principal, and we told her that this boy was incredibly stalkerish and creepy. Instead, my classmate got more punishment then the other kid. Even though i think they both shoulve been punished, i still think the weird kid should've had a worse punishment. So, what do you think? Sorry for the whole essay, i just want to know how you feel about this. 😅

@@AprilsLife_ ahhh sorry! I should have clarified: The US immigration system is rlly shit, not the entire country lol. That and the history, and the government... but it is a beuatiful place to live.
I drove into Canada a couple of times with a friend, getting into Canada took 5 minutes. Getting back into the US, *AS A CITIZEN*, took 2-3 hours. Just for a casual day trip, this country's border and immigration process is a nightmare and I have MAJOR respect for anyone who has the strength and persistence to make their way here, legally or not.

While I am incredibly thankful to be privileged enough to have a family that can support me and provide a safe place to live while I look for a job, I also feel like I'm missing out on the experience of young adulthood, especially after losing have of my college experiences to covid. However, that seems to have developed into this obsession because he keeps trying to get my number and is all touchy…. Keep in mind I am a minor, and he is 24. I have tried communicating with the higher ups for help, but because they don’t want any drama, they won’t do anything about him! He won’t stop harassing me and my father has submitted multiple complaints without any action. I cant avoid him unless I stop attending all together. What do I do? (Sorry if my English is bad!) Hello! If you haven’t, try telling a lot of the members at your church who you are comfortable with so they can watch out for you. Or try telling the staff at the church, like the minister or family of the minister.
collect as much evidence against him and let whoever is close to him know. you don't deserve to be harassed and something needs to be done. hope everything works our love, God bless

hey ben, thanks for sharing your story :( i know some people who had to go through the whole visa process where their visa got denied at first, and it took years for it to be approved. not only that, but some of their close ones' lives were kind of put on hold too because they were waiting for this person to be able to live in the us with them. and it was just heartbreaking to see them hopeful but then their hopes get crushed again and again. behind the brightest smiles, theres always the troubles they go through... but im so glad that this ones over for you :D i hope you have the BEST time starting your new life :)

It sounds like you've been through an incredibly difficult, lengthy and anxiety-inducing process to get a visa and move to the US. I can understand how frustrating and emotionally taxing that must have been over multiple years.
However, it's amazing that you persevered and finally succeeded in getting the visa and moving to LA. Despite all the obstacles, you stayed focused on your dream and made it happen. Not everyone has that kind of determination and persistence.

My uncle recently Immigrated from Morocco wich has been the hardest experience ever. To get his visa he had to stay at a immigration camp for a certain amount of time where he got beat up and even had to go to the hospital. He had a broken arm for 3 months but tge government just ignored him. He might have to go back but it’s still scary bc some people lose they’re lives there.
going back gonna be hard too. with everything going on right now in Morocco (the earthquake)

Hi Ben, here's my drama: my friend group of 4 was split when 2 people fell out and I tried to ask everyone why, but they each refused to tell me (we've been friends for 9-7 years). A day after I found out, my grandmother passed away suddenly, then in the same week, my grandfather and father were separately rushed to Emergency. Although, the friends did not fall out with me, none of them reached out despite knowing what happened (It's been 10 weeks since). Do I officially cut ties with them? If yes, how? P.S I rly hope you're doing well + this is my comfort podcast ❤❤
Oh my god, that must be really tough. I really hope you are doing good now. Having your family members passing away is the absolute worst. And you going trough it by yourself must be so traumatizing. It’s sad for your friends, not helping you trough this whole experience you’ve been trough. I think a friend should always be there for you no matter what. Hiii Ben, I have some drama. So ever since nursery I’ve had this best friends (let’s call her macie) she was an amazing bff but when it got to year 3 she would randomly switch up on days where she would want to be my bff then not, mind you I have REALLY bad anxiety (to this day I still do) so it kinda grew a fear on her and I felt trapped cause I was too scared to speak up for myself years go by with this my anxiety gets so bad I hated even speaking to anyone and I couldn’t even put my hand up in class this still happens to this day I hate school cause of it she’s been getting better and more aware but I still have a fear of her that she’ll switch up and I’ll have no one btw LOVE U
