I love the stories the social distortion fans always have about every song ... Social Distortion isn't awesome just for the music they do, but also they have the greatest fans a rock band could have.
Great video. Mike Ness is an unbelievable talent. He doesn't get enough credit. This guy should be in the R&R hall of fame. Hopefully he will be there some day SD is America's Punk Band. Ramones can't even compare. I've followed SD since the late 80's and he and SD are actually getting better as they get older.

If someone asked me what American music sounds like…for some reason Social Distortion and this song always come to mind. The rock, punk, country, etc elements are all distinctly American. Only other band that comes to mind with a truly American sound is the Grateful Dead. 🔥

I was out of the country for 10 years, could never catch a SD show. I return to the US for 2 years, SD begins tourinfg again, and comes to Cincinnati 3 weeks after I leave for Indonesia. I've missed them again. When o lord when!?! Being from OC and Mike's stomping grounds, this obsession has got to be satisfied. SD gets near Cinci, Chicago, Clevland, Columbus- I need fellow road trippers! Be back in Cinci in September. Mike bring the boys to Cincinatti again. Never stop making music Mike!
I don't understand why the crowd isn't dancing. I love this band. They have made music that has always helped me. I got the oppertunity to see them play when I was 16. I also was fortunate enough to see the Ramones at 15. I have seen Social Distortion 5 times. Worth every road trip and every penny..
I think it because they from there they do not fully understand how cool the band is because its what they always knew. I am more pissed KROQ sold out and refuses to play cool stuff like this anymore. Its why the radio sucks.

Punk is all about doing what you want even if that means sacrificing and not conforming to the worlds wants...Nobody embodies those values like Social D. They make the songs they want sing they way they want and mash up all different types of styles

I saw them this summer and Mike was really fine looking, he lost a few pounds, did a anchor tatoo under his left eye & was in good shape and most importantly, rocked the place like no tomorrow.
I never knew these guys when they were younger; I've really only recently discovered them as I was into other rock forms when they came on the scene. They are really good. Sorry I missed their early stuff.

i drove 8 hrs to see them in jersey, from canada, then the next year 5 hrs to see them in n.y. was worth it , and would do it again.

Absolutly KILLER! They played a couple new ones when i saw them last year.Diamond in the Rough is badass too.
