mikes music (and everything the band does ) along with wickersham have helped me so much i just cant possibly list all the bull crap is gotten me through. locking myself in a bedroom with social and a little weed i quit a 10 + year addiction to heroin and pain pills cold turkey with no tapering or medication from a doc(im in cali so technically weeds a scrip), its been 3 weeks since my last fix and im not sick anymore and im being productive. every morning i get up and click play all and listen to every song and after its done i put on pandora social d and mike ness. this music really saved my life . ive had 4 5150's and been arested over 20 times and sent to rehab. nothing helped till i stopped headbanging and sat down and reflected on my life through mike's music. mike , you are proof i can live a good life after addiction and possibly be an important influince to somebody like you did to me. you guys are the best ! -Tommy "two wrench"

Music is the only thing that helps when you're going cold turkey. Mike Ness and Social Distortion have helped me through some truly hellish times. It's comforting to know that he's been through the same pain and managed to make it through to the other side. So many of my friends and favorite musicians didn't.
