As a flight instructor with 38 years experience, I was thinking what a self-important jerky was. It's weird how two people can have such differing opinions. I knew right from the beginning when when Steve asked him what he was looking at and he said in a dismissive tone I'm looking at a bunch of things or a bunch of numbers without being specific about what it was he was looking at but he was a self-important jerk and he did not disappoint

@@SVThailand That is a very interesting perspective and you would be more of a subject matter expert in that than me. I am HR and always defer to my clients for their expertise when it comes to dealing with workplace issues. Seeing the years of experience you have, you would know for sure the types of conversations that would need to take place in an airplane cockpit. I have only been a passenger on a plane. Only once did I see the cockpit and that was because of a flight on a Saab plane (I called it a mini-van with wings) where I literally sat right behind the pilot and could see everything:)

Wow Stevo. A double feature. Jet and mega yacht. I can relate. I am an instructor for Cruising yachts with a Masters license. One of the first things that I ask a class is, “ is anyone a pilot or have had aviation experience. Maritime skills and aviation skills do indeed cross over in many ways. I am also a PP with Glider cert. I have captained vessels to 120 feet. Yachts and ferries. Like flying, it’s a lot of responsibility. I had 300 passengers that I was responsible for on the ferry. I suppose similar to an ATP. The biggest difference is that flying is much more critical and less forgiving. On the other hand, if you are on a 2 week charter, it can be a 24 hr job for weeks o end. Yes you get sleep and breaks but the responsibility never stops. So longer but not as intense as flying. Great video. Thanks.

I took a 1 week Aircraft Maintenance Technician class with Charlie at AMT Miami. He's a real stand up guy. I'm definitely going to take a few flight lessons with him soon.

No matter how much experience you have it’s always great to have a trainer like this guy riding shotgun.

Wow! Now, that was a great video! I've long been an aviation enthusiast, but one of the first things I ever accomplished in life was sailing, so this video played to two of my favorite subjects in life. Thanks Steveo!

I soloed in 8hrs with no previous flight experience. It could have happened soon if work hadn’t conspired to space my flights out. But one thing is for sure, when you are that new, even a break of a week is enough to roughen up a few edges. It take serious time before you can have that legit consistency flight to flight if there is some time between each. The dude the instructor spoke about soloing in 2 hours. All I can say is wow. Very impressive. Clearly had some experience but moreover had retained his muscle memory 10 years later which is just wild.

I flew to Nassau in a 1st Cav CH-47F for Hurricane Dorian humanitarian relief, and we parked our aircraft on that exact taxiway near odyssey, to be loaded and fueled. We then flew about 13k lbs of internal cargo up to marsh harbour, along with the Navy and Marines. Was a great time. I have some nice pics from that place.

Awesome video. Love the Vision Jet. I used to charter yachts for celebrities. This one charters for around $1,077,500 + expenses per week. Definitely for the super rich.
