  • Demonstraiting How to Use Terro Ant Bait Traps. Terro Ant Bait Stations are designed to attract and kill common household ants. The bait stations contain a sweet liquid that ants are attracted to, and they bring the bait back to the colony, eventually eliminating the entire ant population. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use Terro Ant Bait Stations:
    Steps:
    Identify Ant Trails:
Observe the ants' movement and identify their trails. Ants follow specific paths between their nest and food sources. Place the Terro Ant Bait Stations near these trails or entry points.
    Remove Bait Stations from Packaging:
Open the Terro Ant Bait Stations package and take out the individual bait stations. Each station is a small, plastic container with a liquid bait inside.
    Place Bait Stations:
Place the Terro Ant Bait Stations in areas where you've observed ant activity. Common locations include along ant trails, near entry points, or close to areas where ants gather.
Do Not Disturb the Ant Trails:
Allow the ants to continue their routine without disturbance. The goal is for the worker ants to find the bait, consume it, and bring it back to the colony.
    Monitor Ant Activity:
Regularly check the Terro Ant Bait Stations to monitor ant activity. You should see an increase in ants initially as they discover the bait. Over time, the number of ants should decrease.
    Replace Empty Bait Stations:
If a bait station becomes empty, replace it with a new Terro Ant Bait Station. It's essential to provide a continuous supply of bait until the ant infestation is under control.
    Avoid Using Other Insecticides:
While using Terro Ant Bait Stations, avoid using other insecticides or cleaning agents in the same area. The goal is to let the ants carry the bait back to the colony without interference.
    Be Patient:
Ant bait stations may take some time to be fully effective. It may take a few days to a week for the bait to be distributed throughout the colony and for the ant population to decline.
    Keep the Area Clean:
Maintain a clean environment to reduce competing food sources. Clean up crumbs, spills, and other potential food attractants that may deter ants from the bait stations.
    Dispose of Empty Stations:
Once the bait is consumed, and the station is empty, dispose of it properly. Check the product packaging or label for any specific disposal instructions.
    Store Unused Bait Stations:
If you have unused Terro Ant Bait Stations, store them in a cool, dry place, away from children and pets. Follow the storage instructions on the product packaging.
Remember, the effectiveness of ant bait stations depends on the type of ants and the severity of the infestation. If you continue to experience issues, consider consulting with a pest control professional for further assistance. Always follow the instructions provided on the product packaging for the best results.

@@821patty2depends on how many ants you have and if they're hungry for food or not. They may ignore it if they only want water.
