I got some flea traps off Amazon for dirt cheap. They come with little light bulbs and sticky pads. Work like a charm. I used fly paper when the sticky pads ran out.
There are many uses for baking soda. Mix it with toothpaste to remove stains in your sink. Use it in your bath to soothe dry skin. Use it with peroxide to whiten teeth. Use it in your frig and freezer for odor control. And I do use it to kill spiders and small bugs. Just put down on the outside edges of the wall.

Regular salt in carpet works like a charm on fleas. Just give the carpet/rug a solid sprinkle of salt and take a broom and sweep it in. Leave it for a couple of days, to give it a chance to work. Vacuum after a couple of days. A lot of the salt will remain in the carpet. Pets will not be harmed walking on it. Can be used on solid floors too, but is messy. Do not use in the yard, as salt will kill plants. Same with borax. I lost several wonderful plants because I didn't know enough to not use borax. Putting down styrofoam plates under chairs or away from pets that might walk in it or drink it, and fill with water with dish detergent in it. The fleas will land in it and won't be able to get out. If one room is a problem, close it off and put five or six plates in there. Using lemon detergent or lavender may discourage the dog from licking it. But it won't hurt them, and they won't be attracted to it. Check the plates daily. After two or three days empty the plates and refill. When you are catching no more fleas, it's done. May take a couple of weeks, because new eggs are constantly hatching and the pets may be bringing in more too.

I get squirrels, possums, raccoons, etc. through my yard all the time and they bring fleas. It's a cheap, easy method that I've used for years. A box of salt, some dish detergent, and some foam plates, and you're in business. Outside, the foam plates, even with water in them will blow over. You may need a small rock to hold them down. Or get some cheap WHITE plastic dishes at the dollar store or thrift store that are a bit heavier.

I had issues with ants coming into my home here in the summer... I simply squeezed some lemons and mixed it with one part lemon juice ..two parts water... Put the mixture in a spray bottle... Sprayed the lemon water around the ant hill and inside my home on the kitchen benches... The ants soon vanished... Ants HATE lemons with a passion.

I have issues with hyponatremia..where my urine has too much salt making my body salt deficient...i just mix 1 tsp.of baking soda and 1 cup of water..put some honey to taste and i maintain my salt level on normal range..instead of taking toxic prescription medicine...
It also works for many stains on the carpet! Mix equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle, spray it on the stain, sprinkle baking soda (I used a recycled Parmesan cheese shaker) and let it sit as long as possible and vacuum it up 🙂

I used 4 boxes of borax to get rid of fleas on wooden floors threwout my house. I left it on for 5 days. I also mopped with 2 different things, amonia& pinesol. Lots of vaccuming. It was challenging.
I use mosquito dunks. You can find them at ace hardware in most places or amazon. They come in round pellets and I cut them into 4 almost equal pieces. I then place a quarter into a empty plastic coffee can that’s about two thirds full of water and give a stir about once a week. They say this is a natural product and won’t harm fish or pets. The mosquito lays their eggs in the water and the larvae hatch and begin feeding on the product which eliminates the hatch. I keep 4 plastic coffee cans out around our property and can really tell a difference. Tips to those who are bitten a lot stay away from perfume or smelly products like shampoo also avoid dark clothing. Good luck.

Have a professional exterminator bait your place with poison food for the bugs. Go to home depot. Buy glue traps. Put them in corners around your place. And buy spray foam to seal all cracks around you place. That will take time. All cracks. Kitchen sink, bath tub, keep them closed. Spray a little bug spray down the bath outside drain handle. If there is one. Seal light fixtures. Heaters, open and seal around them, the pipes. All it takes is time and money.

I had springtails in apartment I was going to rent. Bug professional identified them. I only saw them at night and they were in my face and smeared on sheets, also saw them floating on tub of water. They thrive in damp areas. You might dry out area suspected. Myself, I didn't take the apt. That's my experience, hope it helps.
I'm in the south and they pop up every year in my bathroom hot tub, but thankfully not the rest of the house. Have you tried bombing the house? For the tub, i fill it with very warm water and drop one of those dishwasher pods in or even a Tide pod would work. Then I let if run for a few minutes and drain, then fill and run again to rinse. That gets rid of them for a while. I have to do this a few times during the summer but it does work.
Also tried corn syrup, flour and boric acid mixed into small dough balls, works really great!!

A metal bowl, hot soapy water (I use dish liquid)..desk lamp near it...leave on in a room with other lights off...all the fleas will jump in 😊

Dawn dish soap can get rid of many pests. I just leave a trail of it around and at some point it gets wiped up.

For rats, another thing that works is using cement powder or Plaster of Paris dry powder and mix that in with sugar or peanut butter powder.

🤔I am sick of springtails!!! They have gotten inside the house & I can't seem to completely get rid of the little things. Each time I think they're gone, the pop up again
I had springtails in apartment I was going to rent. Bug professional identified them. I only saw them at night and they were in my face and smeared on sheets, also saw them floating on tub of water. They thrive in damp areas. You might dry out area suspected. Myself, I didn't take the apt. That's my experience, hope it helps.

I'm in the south and they pop up every year in my bathroom hot tub, but thankfully not the rest of the house. Have you tried bombing the house? For the tub, i fill it with very warm water and drop one of those dishwasher pods in or even a Tide pod would work. Then I let if run for a few minutes and drain, then fill and run again to rinse. That gets rid of them for a while. I have to do this a few times during the summer but it does work.

Lizards are our frustration atm. But nobody seems to know how to make them disappear from the planet😫
