Rashid's Stream Chat: Is this fight even fair, you have wind and they don't 🤔 Is the stream just you beating people up, or do you play video games? What's it like being kicked by Juri's feet? 😍 Hey Streamer, why don't you learn to shoot fireballs AND wind? 🔥🔥🔥 Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you're straight up B Tier 🤷♀ What do you know about 9/11? 🤨 Why are you fighting a Sumo Wrestler in Mexico?
when i saw the name "marty mixer" pop up during my ranked grind it felt like i got invaded in dark souls. good games, you're super good! - the first jamie in the vid
That post-match Driftwood call was exactly the sort of wholesome-yet-hilarious banter that makes Sajam such a great content creator and conversationalist. Loved it.
Every time I watch one of your masters climbs I learn a dozen new things to practice. Almost seems like diamond/masters players are playing a whole other game, super cool to watch.
Identifying long term issues with my play is way easier than fixing them unfortunately. "Dont drive impact the jump in, dont drive impact the jump in, dont drive impact the fooooook" almost every game lol.
Something about getting absolutely wrecked by a rashid makes people just wanna leave with the quickness. I can get 2 perfect games in a row as a zangief and people dont reee as hard as when a rashid does one or two good combos and wins one set. They dont wanna deal.
It's either A) Rashid's multi hitting and fast pressure makes people feel like he gets to do more than he actually does. B) People don't like this new DLC character coming into their neighborhood, and liked things better when the game was just 18 characters. Or C) They can't afford the character and are jealous.
An addendum to your note about improvement. its really common for low level players to not see where the value is. its extremely common for lower level players to attribute losses to guessing wrong on oki's, when the reason they got oki'd in the first place was a spacing trap or footsies or throwing out unsafe options in neutral. they dont see it because they're getting smoked cus they dp'd and their opponent shimmied and thats where the damage came from. but they miss that the oki came from a loss in neutral. Theres a lot to learn, and its easy for veterans to just say pick one when new players dont even know what is available to learn.
Rashid’s best move to cancel into supers with is Light Spinning Mixer. Confirming through a buffed tornado adds a lot more hits, and can juggle when the opponent is in the air.
Took most of the week for rashid to click with me, but he’s a good time. His funky combo routes and oki just would not stick in my head, feelin it now. Man don’t let him get going…
I don’t even mind the giant Juri-style DR, I just hope they tweak whatever is causing DR to eat inputs; I’d really like to get some more of those throw techs😅 Sure you can try to be extra ready, I just have a hard time believing that’s behaving as intended, and super flash doesn’t act that way
I see Sajam parry Drive impact a lot, anyone if there is something better about than than just countering with your own? Is it just a muscle memory thing?
I played against that modern Marisa, Kyro, probably in the same day in the Battlehub. My 0 hour Rashid lost 5 straight, won the 6th game, then he left. 😹😹😹😹
8:50, I've seen many Rashids do similar things, including arabian cyclone into high/low as meaty, but I don't understand why this works. It looks very telegraphed and easy to OD reversal on reaction? Am I missing something?
MK Eagle Spike KND is +52, full whirlwind is ...53, iirc. If you have a OD reversal, yeah, it works -technically-, but there's a lot of reasons why you might not see someone do it. A) he's new, people just don't know yet lol B) This setup beats DI/Armor so not everyone's OD reversal even works C) ODing is expensive and in some situations it just isn't worth it when you can parry it to get your bar back D) There are spacings after Eagle Spike (this example isn't one of them, but look at, say, 11:06.) where your reversal just won't hit Rashid even if you went for it. If this were Jamie or another steep angled DP, ODing here would just get them killed. Edit: I completely forgot this happened. Look at 17:17
@@CrowSpaceboy Yeah, I get that it hits meaty but it looks so telegraphed I was confused why it's not getting OD reversaled on reaction. But maybe it's like you say that it's still new, or they didn't want to spend the bars etc. The spacing part makes sense, the time stamp I linked he was literally right in the face of a Ken though which seemed a bit risky lol.
idk how to explain it but something just feels wrong with this game. I dont have the knowledge necessary to articulate exactly whats wrong but, for me, the input timings and buffer windows just feel really weird and bad compared to every other fg ive played. it sucks because i was really looking forward to learning SF6 but i guess i'll just stick to melty until it maybe gets addressed one day. edit: for clarity im not talking about links, ironically enough those were easier for me to get a handle on than the special/super cancels
Why do people talk of rematches like its required! People gota go sometimes and maybe you was their last match. Its not that serious that you have to commit to 3 or more or dont play if you cant. Ive had people message me because i left after winning. Wtf? Im in your head that much after 1 loss?
Plus most of the time it's because people don't want to fight the person they quit against specifically at least that what it is when I quit after one match
Yeah bro every single losequit out there is because their dog is on fire and they queued for a match but can only play ONE game just be quiet and get blacklisted
@@MaybeBlackMesa damn, if you know then that means you Must be looking into EVERYONE that quits on you profile and scroll down feeling salty aF. Keep crying, you deserve no rematches being that salty.
Ken players all have a special version of SF6 that self destructs their console if they don’t press buttons every second of the match
I feel like Ryu players don't get enough blame, I find them worse than Ken players in this regard
@@TortoiseMaximusno ryus are just bad universally
I feel like I've fought more scrubby Ryus that do that more than kens tbh
@@TortoiseMaximusthose aren't ryu players, those are akuma players in the waiting room
That explains a lot
Between all the one-and-dones, Driftwood wi-fi, and DSP of all people staying for a set, this was a legendary stream
To be fair, DSP usually finishes his sets from compilations I've seen. Whining the whole time, sure. But he does finish sets.
I love that Driftwood realized on frame one that the Rashid was you when you called him 😂

the fact that DSP stayed while most just one and done'd is crazy to me, he may be salty af but at least he playes the sets and that i can respect.
You don't need to compliment him. Trust me.

Rashid is the captain of one and dones I can't get a rematch to save my life :/

man that DR into counter DI at 17:28 was *chef's kiss* perfect
That plus on block tornado move is nuts. Like if dragonlash didn't lose to DI
Requires so much more setup than Dragonlash and is honestly easier to beat.

Is it just me or does Sajam do a lot of strike throw without using the float mixup move
I don’t get any rematches in plat when I play rashid
I swear people just never want to rematch Rashid for some reason...
(It's me. I'm people. I lose to Rashid.)
I find myself and a lot of player well panic DI in the corner...and DIED
