I think I *kinda* understand why they did what they did to their grapplers in this game. I can't think of a street fighter game before SF6 where it's legitimately kinda tough to get plus frames without spending meter, and the idea of being minus at SPD range is just too spooky. It's the same reason they don't give grapplers invincible reversals: it doesn't feel good to be put in an RPS situation by your opponent even though you're the one running your offense. That being said, Capcom's fears were unfounded, now give gief a jab confirm, make his lariat hit cross-up and give him a real level one.
They are so scared of making a good grappler but in the same breath make OD amnesia because they don’t think zoners are scary for the exact opposite reason. Feels like the more damage you do off a single move the worse off you’ll be balanced for general play.
Don't know if he discovered this later in the video but when doing Borscht Dynamite while grounded, don't do the half circle back shortcut. Doesn't use bear grab once the whole video... truly the no mixup mixup
You need to create a t-shirt that says, “That's unfortunate” with your picture on the front playing sf6
It's mad. I'm in Platinum 1 and when I charge back HP I eat a DI everytime, when you do it it's not getting punished.
Im cool with his play style they just need to slightly buff his mobility and buff lariat
this is late as hell but im the juri at 27:24. i watch these videos every now and then, i somehow never noticed that was me there. i was tabbed out reading something but then, hand on the bible, i recognized the specific noises juri makes during that one combo i hit you with. sad that we didnt get to finish the full set even though i normally kinda hate fighting gief
i took a long break shortly after this was recorded, just started playing about a month ago and reached masters
thanks for the videos homie
1:05:18 that was gangsta af
I cannot believe that zangief forward throw resets to neutral. Wtf.
Down forward throw give oki
And held neutral throw is SPD jr.
when you have multiple throws that give you oki and you choose to do the one that doesn't that's kinda on you bro
Save your mental man. Just coming off COVID play Dhalsim or Ryu leave Geif for the end an stall for buffs lol
THIS WILL BE YOUR LAST RIDE!
I can’t wait until they make the lariat hit behind and in front.
It works that way in world tour, so I'm sat here wondering why the hell it doesn't work that way in the normal game
I love watching these guys (it always a Ryu) who rely on nothing but Drive impact get destroyed. They can’t help it, it’s all they got so they just continue to spam it no matter how many times you level them.
Lol that last round he ate 5 or more counter Di’s.
This gon b good
Diamond 👏👏👏
Bro I'm from MI (41 FENKELL UP), homie in chat talking about $30 oz is right but hes smoking shake and bottom nugz TMDNWU, get yourself Backpack Boys, Turtle Pie Co or Clout King 8ths that will cost more than ur poverty zip but u wont have to be a poor person, person. Plus you'll way higher, win/win TWU.
I LOVE BOBBY SCAR PEOPLESCHAMP
The one the people needed
It is time for my sweet summer child
Don't play Gief if you can't SPD without jumping or buffering during a block string. Consistent walk up SPD is one of the major gates for high level Gief.
most people after DI: cool combo
me after DI: haha od spd :3
How is Moist Pikachu diamond lol
Snake eyez won with Gief so getting master should be easy. 5head
The billdozer sent me
More like Zangrief, amirite?
looooo l10/10 thumbnail
BUFF GIEF!, the only real character in this game!
