What My Mum & I Eat In A Day (HEALTHY RAW VEGAN + COOKED VEGAN FOOD)

  • What my mum and I eat in a day (healthy raw vegan and cooked vegan food).
    MUM
    Porridge with soaked prunes, coconut yogurt and raw honey
    Smoothie with 3 frozen bananas, 2 soaked dates, fresh coconut meat and 1 packet of acai
    Vegetable Curry (serves 2)
    Ingredients
    1 tsp of turmeric powder
    1 tsp garam masala powder
    2 tsp curry powder
    Piece of ginger, minced
    1 small chili with seeds removed
    2 potatoes
    2 carrots
    2 zucchinis
    1 can chickpeas
    1 tin of coconut milk
    2 tsp tomato paste
    Directions
    Add spices, ginger and chili and stir fry in a little water for a few minutes.
    Add potatoes, tomato paste and carrots and mix thoroughly.
    Add coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add zucchini and simmer until all vegetables are tender and cooked through.
    Serve over brown rice.
    MINE
    Juice with 1 pineapple, 4 red apples and 2 stalks of celery
    Mono meal of kiwi fruit x 6
    Salad with baby spinach and cos lettuce, cherry tomatoes, 1/2 an avocado, fresh dill and lemon juice

    I absolutely loved this video with your mum. She seemed very sweet, and she is beautiful. I loved the contrast of vegan cooking, and her curry looks delicious

    I would love to see how your mom became vegan and why! Did you inspire her? I would love for my parents to become vegans but I feel that it is difficult for older adults to grasp the concept because they sort of saw food go from being home grown, Whole Foods then they lived through the invention of packaged foods and it had such an impact on their lives as far as simplicity.

      Yes I agree it's definitely harder for older adults to grasp the concept. I did inspire her :) and she is doing so great now. I may do a video on it in the future, thank you xx

    It was great that you introduced your Mom. Interesting to see what you both ate! But in the future I would like to only see raw vegan because it's really hard for me to see cooked food and not binge. Too tempting for me! Looked too delicious to resist. The raw food you had, looked wonderful as well but didn't look like it would be enough calories for me. I'm still trying to figure out my calorie needs though. Also when my body is more clean in the future, I'm sure I will be able to eat less because my body will be absorbing more nutrients.

    Loved this what I eat in a day! I'm so impressed with your mum!!! But do you ever feel hungry? I'd be so hungry if I ate what you did lol ! Did you inspire her to go vegan or did she inspire you? :) x

      Mikaylabethanyy thank you 😊 I inspired her! I always eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full, so I'm never left feeling hungry ☺️ I have been eating a very cleansing diet (raw vegan fruitarian) for many years, and over time I've begun to feel satisfied with less food, as my uptake of nutrients is so much higher 🙏🏻

    At first I thought your mother was dumb, as she didn't speak. I can understand how the camera might seem frightening. Lovely video, but the cooked food is only giving me cravings, haha. I eat fully raw, but like many here say, I wouldn't eat as little as you, even if I've been eating this way for a good while. It's great that you follow your intuition when it comes to eating, but I've never come across other raw foodists who get by on merely a 1000 calories a day. I know you did a video on this and all, but I'm curious and quite concerned. But everyone's gotta live life as they please of course, I'm not here to judge anyone. Love your juice, looks so good :)

Thank you for understanding and not judging 😌 everyone is on their own journey and I have to do what feels right for me - I can't force food down my throat if I don't want it 🙏🏻

    Interesting video. I am not a vegan or vegetarian so please do not shoot me down, but I cannot help feel hungry for you on your diet as a 'Raw vegan'? I have seen many raw videos on here such as Raw Kristina, Rawvana etc and I just could not adopt that lifestyle as something healthy longterm. I see the benefits, but here I am crying out for the calorie intake as you need more calories.

      Jon Harrison who says I need more calories? That is a personal perspective and/or assumption. I am never hungry on my diet 😊 I came from an eating disorder and I will never go back to starving myself and feeling hungry 🙏🏻 this lifestyle feels abundant to me 😃 but you gotta do what feels right for you.

      regardless I do enjoy watching your videos and seeing what you eat anyways, so don't feel its a massive negative stab, just my opinion i am pulling across. Some of the recipes are nice as I incorporate these into my diet. I was more concerned on the calorie intake, as I would most likely be hungry all the time (which I generally am) @@OliviaBudgen

    I rarely ever comment on videos...I ended up here reading some of your detox information and I think it's beautiful what you showed...not just your lovely kitchen but what works for each of you. Personally I'm not vegan and I do eat cooked food; however I do eat what I consider 'mostly' a good chelation diet.
    I use chlorella. I am mercury poisoned from predominantly dental amalgams. There are many ways to do this (chelation) and I've done a lot, but nothing brought my mercury levels down like coffee enemas - and healed candida overgrowth. The coffee stimulates the release of bile and dramatically increases gluthathione.
    Over the years, I found a simple, inexpensive at home test that can show you a color for specific heavy metals:

    You might want to do the general test to see what if any heavy metals you have in your body.
