    That is a great Balayage !!! Went for a year with a "stylist" and always put a dark toner so my hair never achieved this kind of look. I wish I could go see you and get it done!!! And oh yeah I have lots of gray too.. Greetings from Baltimore 😍

    Thank you for the education! My question is on timing. From the time you started the timer for her root color to the time you finished the balayage application, the time remaining for the process of the bleach was what? With her being a 6 and wanting to be beyond the orange stage are you not concerned with her root color going too dark? I use Wella, it gets darker the longer I leave it on, less transparent. This technique is a fabulous add on!! BTW, I joined MOB on line training and I am excited for July 1!

      He used Schwarzkopf royal for her base color, it’s not progressive and will not change levels on you if process it long enough. It basically stops working after 45 minutes. It’s one of the best professional colors available in the US

      Typical lazy hairstylist. She told me I should trust the professional (meaning herself) when going blonding, this is coming from someone who didn’t even want me to go lighter and I was a level 5 after she did my hair.

      I'm 8 months late to this and for that I apologize! Yes, I agree with the comments below. Either the colorlist is lazy or inexperienced. Either way, may be time to find a new one (if you haven't already). :)

      Bella Rose I cant remember the toner, but I think it was Redken shades 9P. And in this I used Brazilian Bond Builder.

    Hey would like to ask you ,how would you go on thicker ,darker and more longer .About the processing time im asking?Would you do separately the roots and than Balayage ,or same time Application?

    Would be great if you guide how to wash and tone . I mean how we should rinse the root color so to protect balayage shade .
    And also light on after prelightning which color has been used as a toner ?

      Cold water rinse with the foils in to get the root color mostly out and then remove foils,.rinse, detangle, shampoo and tone.

    So gorgeous! Awesome technique! Question? Do teasy lights with a base colour on, run a risk of marbleization or darker spots? Would it be easier to take slightly thinner sections and blend it out alittle better? Love this! So much

    BUT what my problems here in my AREA is ALMOST my client are DID HENNA On their hair..
    and it's so HARD to explain to EACH of them our new techniques of shading or hair painting..

    still am on my big challenge facing HERE on this AREA..
