    First off- your apron is the cutest thing ever! Second- thanks for making this video, and third- your client seemed very happy and comfortable with you unlike in most videos where they just stare at their phone. It says a lot about you! Excellent outcome as well.

    Just beautiful! Can you give the names and amounts of your lightener formulas and color and toners?

    • @lisahuffhair
      @lisahuffhair  7 лет назад +1

      thank you! I include the names of lightener and color just not exact amounts because I just eyeball everything.

  • @VanessAngelRodrigues
    @VanessAngelRodrigues 5 лет назад +2

    You say In your video that before bringing her to the shampoo station, you prepare your toner. But you need to wash out the lightener before hand. Do you try to shampoo only the light bits and not touch the roots or do you wash the entire head and then apply the toner? I feel like the dark colour always darkens the lightened strands when washing out the lightener and root

    • @lisahuffhair
      @lisahuffhair  5 лет назад +5

      If I said that it was a mistake. I do a full shampoo back at the bowl first. If you find that the base is bleeding into the ends using cold water will prevent that.

    How do you prevent the root color from touching the lightener?

  • @koregea922
    @koregea922 7 лет назад +4

    So... Did you leave the root coloring while you applied the lightning?
    Is it better that way? Or is it better to leave the root touch up and after rinsing it and drying it doing the balayage?
    (sorry... I couldn't tell very well if you were doing it both at the same time...)

    • @lisahuffhair
      @lisahuffhair  7 лет назад +6

      Unna I leave it on for time purposes! Just be careful not to overlap the lightener over the permanent color! Thanks for watching!

    • @michellek9092
      @michellek9092 6 лет назад +2

      How do you keep from overlapping onto the color as you are feathering the lightener up? Great job, btw!!

    Where can I get my hair done by you???

  • @ImSpecial-gk2hb
    @ImSpecial-gk2hb 6 лет назад

    So if my roots are dark (around level 4) and I want to lighten them up a couple of levels (maybe to a 5) and also balayage, how would I go about doing that? Would you recommend bleach to 6 and then dye, or a hi-lift? Also with touching up the roots as it grows out, would you just do the same lift and it should blend in seamlessly with the previously lightened hair (the level 5), and then use the lightener higher up on the ends? This has been racking my brain. Thank you!

    • @lisahuffhair

    • @bp4823
      @bp4823 5 лет назад +1

      nothing is being lifted on her roots, So she isn't worried. She is only depositing and its not darker then her natural. The lightner is applied further down. You get hot roots when you use a higher volume ( 30 or 40) or lightner against the root and its lighter then their natural.
