Hi bourbon judge hope you and all viewing had a great fathers day . I agree woodinville is making some good whiskey up in Washington. Tried the cask strength, small batch and port and really enjoy all of them. Cheers
Woodinville is so delicious! So here in WA our state is divided in half by the Cascade Mountains. Woodinville is on the west side, it’s a coastal mild climate, lots of rain. The East side is high desert, very dry, over 300 days of sun. The farms that produce their grain and the rickhouses they age their barrels are all from the Eastside city of Quincy, WA, a small farming town overlooking the Columbia river, also home to some amazing wine. Like the bottle says, big temperature swings, it can be 100 degrees during the day and drop down to the 40’s at night. Perfect for producing amazing flavor profile! Cheers! Love the channel!
@@BourbonJudge We have it all here, Beaches, mountains, Skiing, fishing, lakes, woods, desert, rivers, Wine, Whiskey, seafood…kind of paradise….just don’t let anybody from Cali know 😉
Happy Father's day Judge. I was at Woodinville a couple of weeks ago, had a great tour and tasting. I love their double barrel and the cask strength. Washington state actually has a lot of distilleries. Cheers
That’s awesome Northwest Bourbon. I would love to try their double barrel. My Buddy Brooks was saying the same thing recently, saying that their are now a lot of cool and new distilleries in WA… cheers
I had a Woodenville Private Select bottle from North Carolina. 120 proof.. Dam good. All the A1 tasting notes. I thought it was an excellent pour. Good dam juice!! 🥃 Go easy on EC B521.. lol luv the reviews BG. Cheers
@@BourbonJudge Indeed on EC, batch A was awesome.. but Even after all the bad reviews I still picked it up to try myself. I’ll keep buying for sure. I just finished Little Book, C batch I pick up in January. Very good. Cheers.
@@MrNJ456 nice… that’s awesome. Yeah if you really love a brand, you go all in and try it. That’s like me and 1792. I will always buy any new release of theirs. Cheers sir
Back in early April I picked up a bottle of Woodinville single barrel store pick. My son and I really enjoyed it and it was really loaded with flavor. Would definitely pick up another bottle of it if it is anywhere near this one I have.
I had a couple, my favorite is the Port Barrel finish, such a distinct taste but extremely smooth. Great with a lancero or a new World cigar, preferably one with a darker wrapping.
What's up Bourbon Judge. We don't have Woodinville in Mass. Looking forward to trying it one day. But, I saw Jason from the Mash & Drum talking about having you on a Live show one day. That would be an awesome collaboration! If you branch out on other channels, you get your subs up to 5K even 10K by the end of the year. I believe I'm one of your first subscribers (first 300). I look forward to your videos every Sunday. Keep up the great work and fantastic content
Dave M.. - my man how have you been. You are spot on, gosh I remember when you commented back when I was even around 150 subs. Dude I appreciate you and your support. Jason from Mash and Drum is awesome! I love his content! Would absolutely enjoy collaborating with him and others. That is definitely on my radar for 2021. I had to step up my studio and camera, but now ready to really grow. Cheers my friend!
You need to try the barrel proof rye too. You can only get it at the distillery or shipped if you live in Washington. Luckily I’m in Washington. It’s a nice one.
Brooks, the man who put me on to Woodinville. Bro thank you. Although me and the family miss having you guys on the East Coast. Glad Washington is treating you well!! Cheers
Great episode Judge and happy Fathers Day. I've been enjoying Woodinville for about a year and a half. I like all their expressions but the barrel proof is my favorite. I've killed a bottle, have an open bottle I'm sipping right now and two more in reserve! Mine are 120.9 proof, nearly the same as yours. I get quite a cinnamon note on the pallet and in the finish. I also want to give a shout out to their port finished bourbon. I'm not a huge fan of the category but I love theirs. I would rate it above Angles Envy. I'll be out there in August and will certainly pay them a visit.
Woodinville is great . I really like what they are doing over there and they are representing new craft bourbon in a good way . I’m drinking a Woodinville cask strength store pick from K&L Wines right now . Good stuff !
Great review. I’m glad you’re giving Woodinville some love. They are my favorite craft distillery. I got a Store Pick BP and it’s delicious! It’s one of the best I’ve had. Belated Happy Fathers Day!
Glad to see this review. I picked up a 121.4 proof Woodinville store pick traveling through Nebraska last week (along with a Penelope store pick). Can't wait to try them. Happy Father's Day to everyone.
I just passed on the small batch bc I only heard good things about the cask strength. I’ll have to pick up. Thanks Judge. Cheers and happy Father’s Day.
Happy Father's Day Bourbon Judge....and congrats on the 3K!!! Came back from El Paso empty handed this week. The hunting is definitely getting harder these days. Cheers Your Honour!!!!
I just tried the Bardstown Fusion 4 last night. Beautiful blend of whiskies. Im primarily a Scotch/Cognac drinker and that one impressed me. I enjoy lower proof these days due to some health issues. Happy Father's Day Judge.
I like the double barrel, port finish, and cask strength releases. I actually have a Madeira cask that was a distillery only release that is one of my favorite finished whiskeys, period. Can't wait for some higher aged product!
@@BourbonJudge Great juice.! Tasty for a four year bourbon. But it's the homegrown grains they use to make the whiskey which makes it yummy. Also, Their story is great and they are doing very good things in the whiskey category. I look forward to seeing your review soon. Thanks!

Just bought their Moscatel Finished; I’m excited to try it tomorrow with a friend.
Can find the cask strength bourbon at total wine in Texas.
They're also owned by LVMH now.
