Great video again Colin. No harm talking a bit of bollocks from time to time.. I can be quite adept at it myself, thank god for editing...🤣 Interesting bit of lead poured into a shell, you'd wonder was it used as a hand warmer or a hem weight or something?? I found one a while back that was in the shape of a spoon bowl. If only these inanimate objects could tell their story! Anyway let me know next time you're in my neck of the woods, we might catch up! Nice crisp coin Colin.1919 was the last year of 0.925% silver, so you have been lucky. They went 0.50% silver in '20. Big hole, small coin! The convex lead reminds me of a sack/sail makers palm guard, especially after seeing the central indent from needle use. Some real nice finds all together Colin. Well worth the look. I dug the bed over 15 years ago, when herself went away clothes shopping one time. It has melded since then and so is accurate for local mid-mineralised clay soil . The 24 is a fine tool, in my view. It works a wee bit like a 5x10 elliptical DD on the F19/Goldmaxx ; only on an adrenelin hit. It is a 21 C nail-infested, mineralised site /stubble/stalks/browse coil. It hits on tiny wee cut coins that the F19/GMaxx can not. Depth fetish and numbers is a bollocks issue, for me, Colin, but I will say this coil is hitting EWRD 1st 1/2 cut farthings, in shit conditions, sound-out at around 8 below, only quick-sharp and 'expressive'. "Keep her low and go with the flow, trust your ears and feel the feel, this coil will part the good from the steel". This is my take Colin. I hope that I have covered it ok. HH
