Aww thanks very much Marcus , the lads are all sound , it’s a bugger though , as most of them have ankle tags , the EMI is horrendous 🤔

That was a great video again Colin. The last 12 minutes were the best though!! 😂
The banter is great and gave me a good laugh! Poor Ryan and Dan will never express an opinion on coin cleaning again the way you and Craig go on about it! 🤣
That gold coin deception at the end was a killer! Was it a ring pull?? Onto the next!

Cheers Ollie , yes the gold milled ‘ sovereign’ was a bloody ring pull , I was 100 per cent convinced it was , the deception was cruel 😡 looking forward to watching your silver finds 👊🏻😎

By the Holy One, Colin; memories of the Levant, Botallack, Geevor mining area of St Just in Kernow. Nothin' like a bitta North Atlantic seaboard salt-breeze to 'tighten the nuts', eh. Little wonder "we lot" of the Storm Coasts have the 'wild and rebellious' indelibly forged in us. 'Tis God's Country Colin. Your opening made what remains of my old hairs stand to full attention! Bleddy ansum😊. But enough of my bollocks; this is hard-core metal detecting; no poncing, no bs, no shite-heads in 'silly hats' here. Proper real✊. Marvellous finds, great people , sound banter; 'great craic', as yous say. What a time! This video has lifted my day, so "Thank you all". Chons da 🤟😎.

Tim , the nuts were well and truly tightened , you are definitely right these islands have made us who we are today . A good honest hunt with real people and real connections on a human level , doesn’t matter if we find crap and talk bollocks , the participation is the drug with the adrenaline kicking in on every digable signal , you just never know what’s under your feet . If I had one shred of your experience , I’d maybe be finding more 😁😎 Cheers Tim , 👊🏻😎

My 'experience' was spent as a 'poacher'😎 for many years, until I became a 'game-keeper'😇, Colin. I was young, and as wild and free as a kite. There were no pin-pointers or push-button machines, and the last thing I needed was an illuminated screen😉, I had a corded head-set with one empty ear-cup and a 2" hole drilled through it, for 'safety's sake' . Once a person gets 'in the bubble' in the dark with a quality analogue machine, everything else drops into place. Some 'experiences' included the sound ; "tsssssuuh", followed by the faint "pop" of a 22 rim-fire. "Low and slow" went out the window for a wee bit then. I'm 65 now and 'Only our rivers run free',now.... But yeh, if I had anything I could say of any use Colin it's go detecting in the dark on ground with short grass for an hour or two a couple times a week. It helps I think. Never ground balance lower than two inches off the deck on the down-pump (excess ground phase noise occurs if you GB too low) . Ground balance on half gain/sens; no more. Don't swing too wide (it's not strimming your after doing). Nice regular slow-ish flat strokes with a 9" or bigger size coil (faster with a 5x10 or other small coil unless iron is too dense.). Don't go over 3/4 gain/sensitivity ( too much throws a machine out of harmony for the sake of maybe 1/4"-1/2" more depth). Relax the shoulders. Get in "the bubble". And hope the sweet spot on the coil hits lucky. I hope this bollocks helps you Colin.👍@@thecoinwhisperermetaldetec2523

Now there’s the experience of a real detectorist , I’m not even going to ask what your best finds have been , I know you’ve seen it all Tim , and like me just stand in awe at the people who could have held that coin/object before us . It’s a real pleasure to have you as a subscriber on my little channel. You Legend 👊🏻😎

I'm nothing special Colin. There's men like the late John Burke (Lynne) aka The Norfolk Wolf, that'd make me look like Mipsy Gaynor in Blue-bell wood on a shroom trip ( who-ever she might be). Every year John would go down to Hell (London), to sell his staters from that season..His personal collection was mouth-dropping..All found with quality analogue machines..My best find is an almost immaculate middle-Neolithic spear-point Colin. I stopped for a fag and coffee years ago in a big old field on high ground. I was clearing my head of beeps and clicks when I saw an big "willow-leaf" on the deck. I finished up, turned the machine on and swung away to go. A thought struck me. What TF is a big willow leaf doing up here so far from water. It was the spear point Colin. How TF it was virtually un-damaged (minor chip on shaft end), after over 12,000 years still makes me 'stare-off'. 'Twas like it chose to find me. Some of other stuff is nice, sure, but that piece of flint is the real treaure. Utterly unique 👊😎😊@@thecoinwhisperermetaldetec2523

There is alot of people very interested in Irish history in the UK but quite alot of people thought metal detecting was banned in Ireland so did I ,that's when I decided to research it and I came across your channel, I've put your name across a few groups and there is alot of interest already so you should be getting alot more views in the next few days ,hope it goes well and good luck on your next day out detecting 👍

@@leesmith5710 metal detecting is essentially banned in the Republic of Ireland, the rules there are draconian and ridiculous, however I’m in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK , and the rules are basically the same as England , hope that helps Lee 👍🏻
