@@rolandas77 Thats a good question. I have never tryed. Maybe I should give a go. Not used to vibrations. Need to hear the tones. Its alot of imformation in the tones.
@@Alex_Anders yes, but you have to dig low or high tones anyway :) because you do not know what is under - scarp or gold... But if you discriminate lowest tone - iron and let only higher tones to vibrate...?
@@rolandas77 Yes, you never know whats under the detector despite tone and feeling. So maybe it would work. I guess it depends on how you are used to work with the detector yourself. I use parkmode and stabilty on the sound to guide my self. Sometimes you have to chose between many targets, in a small area, if you dont want to dig the hole day. Many targets change id on way down while you dig. But im sure it could work only using vibrato but if think you would have to dig up alot of trash.
And here we have the 3 finger claw men from Norway in his natural environment. This a rare sight to behold! Great video, I plan to do this in the summer myself.
Haha! Priceless. What we dont do for our hobby. Yeah, what can I say. Cant wait for six months. Nope, not a option🤓Its 3° in the water. Cant wait for summer to come. Do it. Its fun. Put it out there🤘
I've recently bought a Simplex and to see you use it fully submerged is really eye opening! Shows just how great a machine it is! Great video mate 👌🏻 I've subbed can't wait for your next vid!
Thanks for subscribing! Glad you like vid. I was actually very nervous the first time. Because! I was really hoping the Simplex would work underwater. Its one of the main reason I got one. Turns out the simplex works great underwater. At least for the price it comes with. And with the headphones (grey ghost, not the simplex underwater ones) eventually. This package will work just perfect😊 Thanks again for the nice coment. More vids will come🤘
I’ve been scared to fully submerge my Simplex+, but after this video...I feel comfortable. What are the white attachments underneath the screen that are on your cords? Mine doesn’t look like that. Did you add those to make it more “sealed off” from water?
The white tape you see is there because the water is so cold, 2°, and I was afraid the iron would shrink. Not nessesary. Have fun underwater with your simplex🤗🤘
@@Alex_Anders definitely will share, In the desert here it got a little hot in the summer so I'm definitely looking forward to getting in the water. After Christmas I'm going to get the simplex, it looks like a great machine 👍😎👍🍻
What beautiful videos in the water, you use good tools, the simplex helps a lot in conjunction with the Garrett AT PRO pointer. Congratulations on your channel, greetings from Colombia.
Thank you very much😁 Didn't see your comment until now! Simplex has worked great. At least I find a lot without too much disturbance. Thanks for supporting the channel. Nice to hear. Greetings from Norway😊👍
Holy crap I just received this detector as a bday gift and noticed and I was having the same concerns about the thread on the plug in not going up all the way up and saw that you taped it lol. Thought about doing the same
yes, there was almost no information about simplex in salt water the first time I took it under. In addition, in 2 degree water. So was reasonably nervous the first few times. Brand new machine in freezing water. But it went well😊
Thank you very much🙏 Yeah, isen't that little fellow cute. Its called "flyndre" in norwegian. That day the temprature, underwater, was near freezing point and I only got to detect 1/3 of the place because I was so cold. But still coin after coin said hello. So difficult to stop. It was a cold but nice day😊👍🏻
Works like a charm. Had it underwater, salt water, for 10-15 times now(washed with springwater after everytime) and no problems so far. First time was a little bit scatzhy i'll admit☺️ Thanks for the support mate👍🏻👍🏻
Very Nice hunt My friend, thanks for the sub, i just bought a simplex the other day i dont really do underwater detecting but might try it out at some point, much live from denmark 👍
Thanks for the support. Appreciate it🙏 I have used it many times underwater now. I experience that there is more chattering on grounds with many different mix of small/bigger/coloured tiny rocks (minerals) vers clean sand beach ground. Someplaces like on this video its very quiet. But I am very happy with the Simplex underwater. Stay tuned. New video coming in 2 days😁👌 Stay safe😷 Good luck and happy hunting mate👍🏻
Hi, greetings from Mombasa Kenya. I am new in this hobby, but learning pretty first,my concern is that whenever i use my simplex in the salt indian ocean water it just goes crazy with all sort of noises.what mode should i use.i use beach mode. Thanksmate.
Settings on SIMPLEX: - Parkmode - G/B 0.00 - Iron volume 1 bar - Not discrimination, the first and 2 last ones. - Frequency shift F3 - Sensitivity 4/6 - Volume full. No headphones My experience: With salt water: Only clean sand = Little disturbance. In places with a lot of pebbles and a mixture of artificial minerals and all sorts of strange things create disturbance
Simplex has an affordable price, I barely bought it right now. Next saturday I will test it. I live in the west coast, going to the pacific ocean in Baja California at the beach.
@@BobliberTJ Its fun on land anyway. I have a lot of ours on land with this machine and have found coins, rings, old stuff😊 Yeah, be careful in the sea. Especially when alone. But if you only gonna be out snorkeling, when the sea is calm, like I do in this video with a wetsuit you are gonna be pretty safe. But not if you cant swim😳 Let me know how your first day was! Hope you will enoy this lovely machine as much as im doing👌 Thanks for the support mate!
Max 3m. But yeah, it works great over/under so im happy with it. If I want a "full underwater detector" maybe not the simplex. Then I need a detector that can handle minerals. Minelab Excalibur II🤩

Hey Fridykk, great video and amazing crystal clear water! Your machine makes some funny noises 😄 I can't wait to see some more videos from you. Keep them coming!

Yes, maybe that will do it. I have no experience witv that detector but what I know is that detecting in water is very fun😊 The ground your on has alot to do with the way your detector works. Sand is easy. Rocks and small hot rocks makes it difficult sometimes impossible for me to work
Uso baixa sensibilidade e versão 2.68 no filme. Eu prefiro o modo de estacionamento. 0,00 GB. Tente equilibrar se houver muitos minerais e 0,00 não funcionar de maneira ideal. Boa sorte meu amigo
I have taped the "iron part" of the detector because its 3° in the water. Very cold. If the iron should shrink I have a backupplan. The pinpointer is also taped with an mutter underneath because my gloves is 7mm thick an the buttom to small to to press😊👍🏻
@@la.detectorismoeobjectosen7558 it is foolish to buy the 100$ pinpointers, the no name ones work just as well. And if you want to be absolutely sure its waterproof just buy a can of plast-a-dip or rubberize-it (both products are just rubber coatings in a can. Then just cut around the battery compartment. Battery compartment is waterproof with a rubber gasket. This is what I have done for a few years and it works great for diving in about 10-12 feet of water. Still using the same pointer as when I started.
Have no experience with it. But for my use it is a bit unfortunate that it cannot go down further than 3 feet. 10 feet is perfect. What do you think for your use?
It is the same thing for me here aswell. Those areas is just to much. But turning down sensitivity to 4/6. Try changing frequency. I use parkmode alot. And gb 0.00. Sandground with many small/bigger rocks spread around looks like the best places to be🤔
Hehe, hell yeah! We got the nemo by blu3. Actually 2 of them. The weather in Norway has been pretty ruff lately. Its been bad visibility and crazy wind for the last 6 months. But now we hope tide is changing and luck are waiting for some treasurehunting🤗🙏🤩
Hello i have a simplex and i wanted to look underwater at beach. But dedector was mixed and i made sensivity minimum. İ tryied set for soil automatical and by manuel. Unfortunately unsuccesfull. İt see all metal in sand thousands signals .if you want to look by vibration . Dedector never stop. Every seconds trembling. Please which set ups you made can you say?
First of all and this is my experience. Some places is not possible to detect because of high minerealization. Hot rocks etc. Try to find places with hard sand mixed with rocks. Like in my vids. Where the wave hits on beaches is hard to detect also. Second: some say that first version, 2.68, worked a little better underwater than vers 2.78 and 2.77. More chattering? Not sure why🤔 If you use vers 2.77 or 2.78 dont use park 1. It goes to deep. Use park 2 witch is the orginale parkmode. I use parkmode 2. Low sensitivity 4/6. Frequency 3. Gb 0.00. Detecting on mostly sand mixed with small rocks. This is with version 2.68. Now I have 2.78 but havent had in water yet. But should not have anything to say
@@Alex_Anders If not difficult, can you tell me whether it is worth taking Simoolex? It’s just that many reviews are either bribery, or it’s not clear what is said there. I just want to buy with headphones, and now I think, to dig up, or to buy right away.
@@fuzia9207 It depends on how you want to use your detector. Lets say you want to have a good detector to use underwater and on land. Like I want. Then simplex is perfect. If you want only water. Not interessed to walk with detector on land. Then you will find better options for underwater use. But the thing with simplex is the price it comes with. Its a good detector for the cheap price. You will allways find better soliutions out there if you give more money. For me, simplex is good because its easy to use, its waterproof and handles minerals pretty good and you get easy accesd to updates if you want that. The warterproof headphones that follows the simplex is not good they say. The sound inside is too low while detecting. I dont want work with that! Protect it against the saltwater. Its not necessary in freshwater. But the pinpointer have a little "nob" under the tape right on the on/off buttom. This makes it easy for me to turn it on/off with the 5mm and 7mm gloves on😊
have never tried garret under water. Personally, I don't know which model does the best of the two. In any case, the Simplex is a good machine for the price it comes with😊

How do the ports not get water in them? I think my yard is full of junk bc I get signals all over the place from this detector finding 1 thing. I love it though it’s so nice for $250
The plugs are sealed and waterproof. Thats why many experience problems with nois from the coil etc when plugs are not properly fitted. Push in, 2 turns, push in, 2 turns and they are good to go. Chech out this part in the simplex group on facebook. Mayby thats on of the problems for you🤔 Some places are just full of junk. And you can have interferens from high-voltage cables around you. This the Simplex hates.
The white tape you see attached to the detector is because the water is very cold and I trying to prevent a leak in case the iron shrinks. Probebly not, but just for safty😊

Hello genius, a pleasure. I ask you a question, do you recommend the Simplex for the Mexican Caribbean Sea, I go for a month and some tell me that in salt water it gives false signals. There are better and stable ones but they are very expensive and my budget is for this one or for the Minelab 440... What do you say?
Thanks!🙏😊 The control box on minelab 440 does not withstand water. So there is a risk of being near water or walking with it in the water. Even if you get waterproof protection, the electronics are still exposed compared to simplex which can be thrown into the sea without doing any damage. That said, the minelab 440 is easy to use. Easy to understand. It has many positive elements to it that make it more interesting than simplex in my eyes. Had I needed a detector to search the sand, I would no doubt have gone for minelab 440 instead of simplex +. Whats nice about Simplex is that it is a cheap, good and a robust machine that can withstand underwater search as well. It is easy to understand and use. But your friend is right about false signals. If there is a lot of magnetism and disturbance in the bottom biotope (stones and gravel) simplex struggle with interpreting the signals versus when there is only sand. I've always wanted a minelab too. They seem like incredibly nice machines and I'll be investing in a proper minelab one day👍
@@Alex_Anders Thanks bro...i decided for Simplex. It's my first detector, I'm a newbie and I can't spend a lot of money. Maybe it wasted time due to some false frequencies in the sea but I don't think it's that serious. Thanks again Bro...The caribbean is waiting for me...
Wow, what a great place to detect. No, its never waste of money. Simplex is a good machine for the price you pay! I dont detect to much myself but its a fun thing to have in house and I havent regret that buy at all. Good luck and enjoy your new machine😃

Yes, it is. Its because the water is 3°, very cold, and dont want water to leak inside the box incase the iron should shrink. Probebly not but just for safty🤔 I juse 7mm gloves so I have put a little nob under the tape for the pinpointer. It makes it easy to turn on/off. We dont wait for summer to come for detecting underwater😋
In this video only 1-1,5m. But I have had my Simplex underwater on 3m many times. I suspect the green adapter is for use on land. Thats why I am glad my plug is taped. If you compare them you will see that the plug from coil is thicker than the other one that follows the simplex. Not 100% sure but atleast tape it good before using it underwater.
Hello Fridykk, thank you for these detection dives, I see that you are using the Nokta simplex underwater without the waterproof helmet, could you explain to me the trick you use to plug the helmet connections, I found your idea very handy, thanks for your feedback, Vever. (France ) Obviously it will be a big blue thumb and I subscribe😉
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoy them and thanks for subscribing🇨🇵👌 I use a very strong tape to keep a tight seal, most because the water is very salty here and I want to prevent salt hitting the ironplugs. Plus the water is freezing cold. If the ironplugs should shrink small amont of water could get inside. Its enough to use the cap nokta says. Or just get the underwater headphones from nokta makro. But dont take (be carefoul) the simplex to far down underwater. Keep it (at least the computer) between 1-2m depht. I have never experienced any problems with taking my simplex to 3m but I have seen other talking about problems after being down to 3m. Maybe its a dangerous zone for the simplex. To close to not handle the preasure🤔 Just letting you know. And never wash it with icecold water from like the garden hose. That can cause condens inside the controllbox. This is my experience with simplex underwater. Its a wonderful detector and I love this machine underwater/on land👍🏻👍🏻

Its actually very easy. I allways ground balance before I enter water. Just set it to 0.00 manually and your ready to detect underwater. Remember that some places has alot of "hot rocks" and will be a bit challingen for your detector vs places with only sand and less chattering. Listen closely to the sound from the detector on my vids. You will see sand= quiet. Allot of mixed rocks and sand= More chattering. More mineralization. Good to know before you jump out in the sea. But at the same time you need those rocks that your finds can get stuck on.
Hello, like from Ukraine Thanks for your video. Tell me please what are the white things behind? (you insert there your headphone) Sorry English it's not my native.
Hey, thanks for liking the video. Glad you enjoyed it:) The white tape you see attached to the detector is there because the water is very cold and I trying to prevent a leak in case the iron shrinks. Probebly not, but just for safty. Without headphones I use the cap, that follow the simplex, over the plug. Then I tape with a very strong tape(siga) around this and one strips over there. This works for now but I belive its possible to buy a waterproof black adapter to headphones and that will solve the problem. But I will have to order it from USA i think.
@@Alex_Anders Thanks for your answer. You thinking the water protection in MD it's not enough from the factory? If I right understood deep was behind the one meter.
@@РоманБарышевский-ж5о Simplex is waterproof down to 3m(10feet). No problems there. But I think, not 100% sure, that if you are taking the detector underwater you need the black plug similar to the one going to the coil. From factory you get 1 black attached and a green adapter. The green adapter is not waterproof I belive. But maybe the black little cap is supposed be enough. So, to be sure, I use the little cap and then tape and use strips around to be sure.
Hello Fridykk The water is so clear. Nice video, camera is always well oriented ! I do not understand about the sound. Your headphone is not plugged, so do you have a headphone ? Do you have the vibrant handle ? Why do we heard the noise of the target, under water ? ... ?!? if no cable is attached to the Simplex ? How is it possible ?
Thank you very much. That was some nice words🤗 Its like having the Simplex on land without headphones. But only underwater. The sounds come from the speaker built in the machine. Everything works great👍🏻Both pinpointer and simplex. I use tape for protect it against saltwater. And it was very cold in the water incase the iron should shrink. But one time I used my garden hose to clean it after I used it in saltwater. The icecold water made some condens inside the controllbox so I want do that again. Still use it underwater👍🏻
in some areas yes. my experience is that a lot of pebbles of different kinds can create false signals. where one finds "hotrocks". stone with iron / magnetic content. but in areas with a lot of sand it is quiet. It works well under water. at least at the cheap price
And how does it work in black sand under salt water? And what modes do you recommend and what sensitivity do you recommend and what balance do you recommend

I boght the Simplex because its a good choice as an "first detector". It works great over/underwater. For me. I didn't know how much time I would spend on detectinghobby. Would I be more on land or underwater. Now I know detecting underwater is way more fun then on land. So next one out in the future is Minelab Excalibur II. So if you are after a detector for only underwater maybe its best to buy a underwater detector. It will cost more then simplex. Simplex is very cheap. But I am happy with it and will have plenty more trips out in the sea😊👌

Thank you so much man! Today it was driving me nuts as it seemed pretty useless that way. In my case what happened is that i lost a watch while surfing and I'm trying to find it. So even if it'd underwater you'd reccomend parkmode 1 and all those adjustments that's right?
@@matteocarofei5389 Be patient while you search. It can be difficult to find something concrete. Use park mode 2 and low sensitivity. High sensitivity creates a lot of unnecessary noise and you end up more confused. Hope you find your valuables and wish you all happiness and luck😁🤞

Very cool. I‘m always excited, what you will find next😃

Hi, greetings from Mombasa Kenya. I am new in this hobby, but learning pretty first,my concern is that whenever i use my simplex in the salt indian ocean water it just goes crazy with all sort of noises.what mode should i use.i use beach mode.
Thanksmate.
Settings on SIMPLEX:
- Parkmode
- G/B 0.00
- Iron volume 1 bar
- Not discrimination, the first and 2 last ones.
- Frequency shift F3

My experience: With salt water: Only clean sand = Little disturbance.
In places with a lot of pebbles and a mixture of artificial minerals and all sorts of strange things create disturbance

@@la.detectorismoeobjectosen7558 its a GARRET-POINTER AT. Think its waterproof to 6 or 7m underwater🤔
@@la.detectorismoeobjectosen7558 it is foolish to buy the 100$ pinpointers, the no name ones work just as well. Hola.

For the price it works great. Works pretty much just like on land when used underwater. Great on coins👍
I tried on rock/gravel beach, cant even work because of chattering. On sand beach is ok. Have any ideas how to remove chattering on rock/gravel beach?
It is the same thing for me here aswell. Those areas is just to much. But turning down sensitivity to 4/6. Try changing frequency. I use parkmode alot. And gb 0.00. Sandground with many small/bigger rocks spread around looks like the best places to be🤔
Please some videos with the nokta and the nemo hookah, I'd love me a nemo hookah , no pressure but soon please lol
Hola amigo que configuracion manejas cada vez que lo metes al agua salada??
Uso el modo de estacionamiento 2. sensibilidad baja. gb 0. mantiene a mg lejos de aquellas áreas con muchas "hot rocks".
Not sure why🤔
If you use vers 2.77 or 2.78 dont use park 1.

Protect it against the saltwater. Its not necessary in freshwater. But the pinpointer have a little "nob" under the tape right on the on/off buttom. This makes it easy for me to turn it on/off with the 5mm and 7mm gloves on😊
One question you have detected at sea with the detector in vibration mode without headphones
No, always use sound. I like to hear the different frequencies in the tone

Garrets not underwater capable but my friend said when taking on the beach it has salt water interference. This machine looks well and in all terrains.
What is that white bit on the coil cable near the back of the control box? Is that something special?
Its just tape. It was winter, 2-3°, and one of the first time with the simplex underwater so I was consern that the ironplugs could shring and small saltwater drops would leak inside the machine so to prevent that I used tape.

Hello. how deep you test this Nokta? I have same, but I em afraid to dive deep.
In this video only 1-1,5m. But I have had my Simplex underwater on 3m many times. I suspect the green adapter is for use on land. Thats why I am glad my plug is taped. Obviously it will be a big blue thumb and I subscribe😉
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoy them and thanks for subscribing🇨🇵👌
I use a very strong tape to keep a tight seal, most because the water is very salty here and I want to prevent salt hitting the ironplugs.

Hey Fridykk can you please [lease please make a how to ground balance in salt water?🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good

So, to be sure, I use the little cap and then tape and use strips around to be sure.

in some areas yes. my experience is that a lot of pebbles of different kinds can create false signals. where one finds "hotrocks". stone with iron / magnetic content. but in areas with a lot of sand it is quiet. It works well under water. at least at the cheap price
And how does it work in black sand under salt water? And what modes do you recommend and what sensitivity do you recommend and what balance do you recommend
@@deteccionpura5772 low sensitivity and park mode 2 is what i use. we do not have black sand in norway. so do not know how simplex behaves in that environment. You can not just try it out and see how it goes😊
@@Alex_Anders ok thankyou
Does this detector work underwater without the headphones plugged in?
Yes, but its a struggle to catch the tones. It works but its not optimal. Now I got headphones and its much better. I recommend headphones😊
Pretty interesting to see the simplex perform underwater. The beeps in the video was underwater, can you still hear the beeps underwater?
Its raw fotage. So the beep you here goes straigth in to the gopro. While snorkel and detecting I have to have my ears submurried to hear. And it works pretty well. At least for now. But I am looking for headphones and I think am gonna go for a grey ghost model. I feel I am missing the hole soundpicture without headphones. And maybe even some of the low tones if I miss them on the screen. Hope that make sense😊
Did you have your headphone jacked into the GoPro with the wire from the simplex?
@@BCTreasureTrails No, I dont have headphones. Yet! The sound you hear comes from the simplex.
@@Alex_Anders did you have vibration mode on as well?
@@gambitassassin no vibrations. Never tried it underwater or on land.
Whats is your configuration? My simplex dont work undersea :(
What is that white stuff on the back of your connections on your Simplex??
Its tape. It was winter, 2-3°, and one of the first time with the simplex underwater so I was consern that the ironplugs could shring and small saltwater drops would leak inside the machine so to prevent that I used tape.
Great video👌
Is it good idea to buy this detector only for underwater salt hunting?
I boght the Simplex because its a good choice as an "first detector". It works great over/underwater. For me. I didn't know how much time I would spend on detectinghobby. Would I be more on land or underwater. Now I know detecting underwater is way more fun then on land. So next one out in the future is Minelab Excalibur II. So if you are after a detector for only underwater maybe its best to buy a underwater detector. It will cost more then simplex. Simplex is very cheap. But I am happy with it and will have plenty more trips out in the sea😊👌
Fridykk Vestfold Ok thank you for your response it was helpful!
Mais um escrito!!
what is the white tape on the coil plug for?
The white tape you see attached to the detector is because the water is very cold and I trying to prevent a leak in case the iron shrinks. Probebly not, but just for safty☺️
@@Alex_Anders thank you, thats what I thought, some sort of teflon tape.
@@HansZarkovPhD Its a construction tape like we use on work. I work as an carpenter. Sigatape👍🏻
What settings did you use? I put beach mode but in water it keeps beeping all the time
Settings on SIMPLEX:
- Parkmode
- G/B 0.00
- Iron volume 1 bar
- Not discrimination, the first and 2 last ones.
- Frequency shift F3
- Sensitivity 4/6
- Volume full. No headphones

I useally prefer parkmode 2. And low sensitivity😊
I'll keep you updated! When you say "Not discrimination, the first and the last 2" you mean only those ones flagged black?
Great job all on free diving.
Thanks for the support mate👌
How deep you can go with that metal detector ? I would like to buy one to used in mexico , there’s some pirate cannons in tha I know and I would like to go around there
Thanks for the subscribe!🤗 You can take it 3m or 10feet down. So far Im very happy with my Simplex. But if you only gonna searth underwater there are other detectores maybe better. But I am not sure that they could match Simplex on price. Let me know if you know or find a better underwater detector in the same price level👍🏻
Fridykk Vestfold
Thank you very much ! Maybe I will have to give it a try ! To the simplex first ! Maybe doesn’t go deep enough for the cannons , but , I guess it’s something to start ! I will keep researching and For sure if you find something let me
Know ,
Im new on this , is that tape kinda extra protection. For the detector ? Have you try go deeper ?
@@zugs14 If detecting is new thing for you then simplex is perfect. Then you can use it over water aswell. Works great on land. I have never used it deeper then 1.5m. But I use Nemo by blu3 hocka diversystem down to 3m so I am gonne take the simplex down to 3-3,5m. The tape is because temp. in the water is 3°, very cold, so just to protect the iron if it should shrink. Good luck mate👍🏻👍🏻
Fridykk Vestfold
Ok thank you ! I guess I will try that , bcz the place on the ocean where then pirate canons are it’s like 10 meters , maybe I practice with this until I find a right one Togo that deep ! I’m not sure if a handheld pulse dive will work , I maybe need something better for that deep ! Thank you I will keep watching your videos to get more tips
@@zugs14 yeah, simplex goes very deep. Look for vids. for that on YT. I use 3/6(sens.) In seawater you have to take some of the sens. down to avoid chattering from the detector. Check out Simplexgroup on facebook aswell. Nice group🤗👌 Thanks for suport gustavo😊👍🏻
Hey Fridykk which waterproof headphones is best for the simplex under water?
Now that nokta makro has updatet the simplex software I will recommend nokta makro simplex underwater headphones. It should be plenty of volume even with the neoprene hood👍🏻👍🏻
@@Alex_Anders would you not recommend the garret ones you used in one of the videos?
@@Alex_Anders and I have the 2.77 version will the Nokta Makro headphones work with it?
I had the 2.68 vers. and trouble with volume. Back then it was to low volume with the underwater headphones from nokta makro. I had my local musicstore to custommade my headphones for simplex. Now after the updates from nokta makro it isen't a issue anymore. So I would go for them😊👌
@@Alex_Anders in my country the Nokta Makro ones costs double the amount of the garret so which one should I go for in that case?
Is this machine a VLF, PI ?
Its a vlf. It works pretty good underwater. Minerals change from place to place here where I dive and I can hear that on the chattering. But it gives me pretty accurate signals all over. To be that good underwater and on land makes it for me a pretty good machine. Plus updates avaiable to download.
I have a Russian-speaking Konal, but I think under water and the gestures are clear)))
Thanks! Yeah, its wintertime❄❄
@@Alex_Anders a couple of months left under water))) in search of the lost
Oh yes😊
What do you have wrapped around the connectors at the control box? Some sort of tape? Why?
Its because the water is very cold and I trying to prevent a leak if the metalplugs should shrink. Just for the safty🙏
@@Alex_Anders Thanks

Underwater, is it used without headphones?
Yes, thats rigth. No, headphones in this video!
What settings are you used underwater ? Thx
Hey. In this vid. I use vers. 2.68 and the settings is:
- Parkmode
- G/B 0.00
- Iron volume 1 bar
- Not discrimination, the first and 2 last ones.
- Frequency shift F3
- Sensitivity 4/6
- Volume full. No headphones
For vers. 2.78 (witch I use today) parkmode 2 is what I like the best:)

How long does this battery work,I’ve got a new detector tomorrow
After you got in your hands you will never think about that. It last forever it seems🤙 I never use the vibrations on. Maybe that can affect batterytime.
I am not like vibrating only tone

How deep have you gone with this detector????
Approximately 3m or 10feet. That is also max depth according the simplex-manuals👍🏻
@@Alex_Anders i was just wondering if you went deeper
@@ethangill2477 Ok. In this video im only at 1m. Normaly I use Nemo by blu3 beside the simplex. That gets me down to 3m. But then you need headphones because of the nois from the regulator!
