- Hi everyone got on the beach with the new Ultra to see how it performed, well it couldn't of been better, Super Stable it was really good. Only there 30 mins or so but got some good signals so very happy with it, I was in Dry, Wet sand and even in the water and nothing, sensitivity on 27 and as I turned it on so please have a look, cheers 👍

Turned my ultra on at the beach, factory beach setting - noisy as hell😂
I played around with the ground Suppressor and the sensitivity and it was of course not as good as my Legend but I got it pretty stable in the end and since this video have hit some decent targets, thanks for your comment 👍
Cool.. my simplex is a little chatty on blackpools wet sand.. that was on all metal mode (Detect sussex uses that mode)...but dint mind... love my simplex

Is it the new one or the plus.... ? the new one has a ground suppressor which defaults to 5 it has 10 settings and you can adjust some of the other settings i found going up to 7/8 on it worked great and maybe the sensitiverty down to 22 ish made it very quite and still getting good signals, anyway ill be using it more as time goes by, thanks for the comment.
@@rudigginit simplex plus. I'm happy with it..would not mind testing the lite for my videos but no clue how or who to ask lol .. ultra does look cool

For anyone who wonders the bluetooth pared nicely with my skullcandy neckband earbuds and no lag that I can tell. Loving this machine. ❤
Thanks for the info, unlike some other makes you can use any low latency APTX headphones with the Simplex, cheers 👍
@@rudigginit for me that was a huge selling factor. I live in the California high dessert very hot a sun hat is in order. In park settings I like to keep it quiet.

I have both also, Simplex Ultra and X-Terra Pro. Different perspectives. Keeping that in mind, I can’t pick a winner; should say they are both winners. Both are modern machines, well-engineered. Both are great fun, not excessive parameters that may shoot you in the foot.
Yea I've had the X-TERRA on the beach and it was fine and I like the machine but was sick of people saying the Simplex was rubbish on the beach when it just isn't, anyway thanks for the comment 👍
I agree with that I liked the X-Terra and Minelab have hit an home run been able to use the Equinox coils I think Nokta should of done that but never mind, I got the X-Terra for a back up for the wife but she doesn't like it (say's it's too heavy) so I'm going to get some coils for the Simplex (which I prefer just) and sell the X-Terra but both good starter/back up machines 👍👍
Did you stick it into the water?
Yea got it down to the sea, no wellies so skimmed it over and waves went over the coil and it stayed super stable no chatter at all and with the sensitivity on 27, the Ultra also has a ground suppressor but as I said I just turned it on, I'll hopefully be getting back on the beach with it before we come home so I'll try getting in the water 👍👍 thanks for your comment 👌

Wats it like in the Water 💦.
Only got it wet at the surf didn't have my wellies on but hoping to get on the beach before going home so I'll try and put a short on but it seemed ok when I was swinging it over and in the surf 👍👍
@@rudigginit would be nice to know if it can find Silver or gold on the wet Sand and at wat depth.
I have problems with noisyness at the beach. What's you settings? So we know your not full of crap.
