Metal detectors have sensitivity settings that lets you see smaller things farther away . When you get a signal on a higher setting you change the setting and try to pinpoint and help get closer to whatever gave you the signal .

His detector found a signal going straight towards what he found . Now he can explore around the cave he wound up in and probably find find other exit or exits and maybe even more stuff . He might find a living space used in olden times , and he may find where the chest was placed was at the end of a long winding passage that they decided was a safe place to place the chest .
The box had no dust or rubble on it, the inside was black, but the trinkets looked like brass with a grey powdery coating on them, but the owl was black. If they were supposedly burnt, gold would melt, light gauge brass would either melt or buckle up. How did they get the box out of there, the hole was rather tight. Why no dialog between camera person and digger?

The box and book are of Jewish heritage, most of the chest plates are Egyptian but the brass vessel that the handle slips into looks like an early Americano bed warmer. That owl looks like the figures we had in FFA that represented officers positions. The fact that all the metal objects are stamped makes is ridiculous to try and believe. That's one hell of a metal detector. I'll give ya $20.00 for it.

What country of origin did you make this find. The box and book are of Jewish heritage, most of the chest plates are Egyptian but the brass vessel that the handle slips into looks like an early Americano bed warmer. That owl looks like the figures we had in FFA that represented officers positions. The fact that all the metal objects are stamped makes is ridiculous to try and believe. That's one hell of a metal detector. I'll give ya $20.00 for it.
