Excellent video. I had previously just reinstalled Ledger live after a Windows re-install. I realised that I should not have to reset the device but was puzzled when my original accounts did not show up in Ledger Live. This video made clear what was going on.
One thing I perhaps could add is that I found that instead of manually re-adding the details of the original accounts, I found that I could restore these by copying the files from a back up of \AppData\Roaming\Ledger Live\ to the equivalent folder overwriting the files created by the Ledger Live install.

Does the Ledger S work for the newest macbook? I am trying to retrieve my VeChain that I stupidly sent to the Vechain address on my BSC. However I do not know how to attain the keystore to perform this.
My MacBook Air won’t pair with a new ledger nano x. I’ve tried two ledgers. Must be a setting on my Mac. Thoughts?

can you use the Nano on more than one system without installing LL on both? MM should just hook up to the ledger without LL by using the setting in MM?

Thank for this nice video. I have succesfully install a new ledgerlive on my new device mac laptop. Have also succesfully add and reconnect all my assets. But the ledgerlive didn't show the "total balance amount" of all my assets. That space is empty now. How come?
Hey Cryptodad, awesome videos. Question: suppose I lose my leger and my computer with leger-live in a fire (hypothetical situation). Fortunately, I have the 24 recovery words with me safe. I order a new ledger and then I do a recovery with the 24 words. How can I recover all wallets into a new install of Ledger-live if my ledger only has the master keys only? Thank you!
Well done tutorial. I have a new machine and the old is only a VM and now difficult to access. I reinstalled the Ledger Live on the Host and cannot see what should be on the device. Should I just restore from the 24 word phrase??
