One morning I woke up and found my xrp and xlm was moved out. At the time having my coins on ledger I didn’t feel I did anything wrong for those coins to just disappear like that. If you looked in your wallet and saw outgoing transactions that you did not initiate, then your wallet has been compromised. Most likely you accidentally revealed your seed phrase or were tricked into revealing your seed phrase. My advice is to move anything left in the wallet somewhere else. Either to an exchange or a brand new wallet with a new seed phrase.
@@CryptoDad ledger Support was trying to walk me through resetting my device, but I didn’t really understand the toolkit of how to approach that. I only have 10 xrp left on the ledger nano X I don’t want to reset my device and get a new phrase without removing those 10 XRP from the old Seed phrase
Hey how can I sell my XRP, coinbase had suspended training on XRP?
That's my question. But the way I understand it is... you would have to move your XRP from your Ledger wallet (if your coin is stored there) to an exchange like Gatehub, exchange it for a coin like ETH, then send it to Coinbase to be sold there and transfer the money to your bank account. If your coin is already on Coinbase, you are allowed to send it somewhere, which again, you'd have to move it to another exchange, convert it and send it back... I think that's right.
You can still trade xrp on uphold. Bitrue also let's people in the US open an account there and trade on their platform. I like bitrue because you can buy BTR which is their bitrue coin and stake it along with your xrp to earn more of each of them. The only problem is they're locked up for 30 days. It's a good way to add more xrp to your portfolio while the price is low and then as the price increases you wouldn't have them tied up so you can sell if it gets to a price point you like

This is a really nice explanation of using this device.....however I have got a question? Both myself and my daughter use 2 different ledgers using 2 different platform for trading different crypto. On the Ledger Nano S (or X), can you sell an asset and send the profits to your bank account instead of any other crypto exchange? Can you link your bank account to Ledger so you can properly transfer profits?

@@grandfigli Unfortunately since I’ve posted this, I’ve learned that you can’t directly sell any profits from the Ledger Nano X and send them directly to your bank account. You would have to send your chosen amount of coins (shares) to a crypto exchange that’s already linked to your bank account (like Coinbase, Binance, or Uphold for example), sell the desired amount, and then send the profits to your bank through that same exchange. Did I explain that okay? Let me know.
Also keep in mind any taxes you will have to pay on profits you make as well. Be sure to set some profit money aside to pay those taxes when tax season comes around.

The "sell" feature in Ledger Live simply uses an exchange called Coinify (www.coinify.com/), under the hood. You are not really "selling it directly from the ledger" You are just transferring it to Coinify for liquidation. I prefer to use Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, etc. rather than Coinify. It is better to learn how to transfer your coins directly.

That is only for the Ripple/XRP wallet. No other wallet works that way. BTC is $26,700 right now. Do you really think that people would use a wallet that locks up 20 BTC ($534,000)? ;-)

Don't move xrp to coinbase u can not take it out. I put some in there and I can't take it out until coinbase start selling xrp. I only put 10 xrp to test it out. But now it stuck in there and I can't take it out
