Good thing to have extra and spread coins to mitigate any huge losses in tge event your cold wallet device somehow gets breached but bad thing is keeping track of all the different seed/passphrases
Going to use the Flex (...when I receive it, no tracking information provided) to replace one of my two original Nano S devices that I believe was purchased in late 2018. I'll "restore" from the Nano S that has the most apps/crypto on it to avoid transfer fees. My 2nd Nano S device contains some XRP, so I'll simply transfer that XRP to the Flex despite a little fee to be paid.
Thanks for sharing this! I took advantage of a sale because of you. Should I have a laptop dedicated solely to crypto? I probably won't day trade crypto, I'm more concerned about security, transferring from exchanges, an occasional swap, and an occasional stake. Honestly, I want to learn about actively trading crypto sometime in the future...
Hi Crypto Dad, U R a pleasure! Which Wallet do U think is better, Trezor T, han't been used much at all, Or Ledger Nano-X never used Or SafePal? also Never used at all! Thank U!!
this is good but if you haven’t read The Bull Awakening by Taro Arimoto you’re only seeing part of the picture when it comes to navigating the next bull run
Do you recommend splitting your cryptocurrency between two hardware wallets? I am planning on purchasing a second hardware wallet, so that way, I have half of my crypto on one device and the other half on a second device. I just feel like, in the rare event, my seed phrase on one hardware wallet gets compromised, and I lose all of my crypto on that device, at least I still have the other half of my crypto on the other device. Although, I'm thinking if I got a hardware wallet capable of a shamir backup, or a new Trezor device with multi share, it would probably be safe just using that one wallet, since it contains multiple seed phrases. I feel like it's similar to having multiple bank accounts. Ideally, it's safer to keep all of your money in more than just one bank account and even safer to keep your money in multiple accounts within each bank. You can tell I've thought a lot about this 😅
I recently lost my D'Cent device and have purchased a new one. I still have the seed phrase from the old device, but the new device is asking for a PIN number, which I seem to have forgotten. Could you please guide me through the steps to recover or reset the PIN? If you have any experience with this issue, your advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hey guys, m trying to determine what version of Tangum cards I have. Its been a while since I've had them. I do see numbers at the bottom of the screen once logged in; however, Im not sure if this is the app version, card version or any version for than matter as it doesn't say version. Thanks
Hi Crypto Dad. thank you for your very informative vids re Monero. you helped me set up my GUI wallet a few years ago. How ever now when i tried the other day to withdraw from wallet it said it was waiting on confirmation but in the end never sent it. ( this wallet is not attached to hardware wallet.) I left desk top on over night then in morning wallet was closed. now when i try to open it , it will not download. Im not tech savy. can you explain how i can open my wallet again please? also whats going on with it not sending my monero to another wallet. or have you a vid in history explaining how to ? many thanks
@CryptoDad if I am upgrading from a Ledger nano to a Stax for example. If I recover my seed phrase on the Stax from the Nano, can I add new wallets to the Stax and only update the Nano once or twice a year to "mirror". Would I have to label new assets I add with the Stax as "Stax" or something similar?
You raised an interesting point....after using recovery to associate crypto to a new device. You said the original device could then be used as a backup. That being the case, each device will have it's own private key but now they share the same seed phrase? If something happens and I want to recover the crypto back to the original device, do I just say recover and use that same seed phrase to move it back? Thx for the help.
Can i have for example the Ledger nano s plus synchronized on Desktop and to export the accounts to iOS version of ledger live using QR code just to have it it on my portfolio and to have a look at it? It was possible before Ledger Sync
I downgraded the ledger live desktop app , exported all the accounts I needed to ledger live mobile with QR code and then ledger live was automatically upgraded afterward as usual. It was the way it worked for me without enabling Ledger Sync.
1. Sir why Solana we can add in ledger but why Solana related coins we need 3rd party app 2. Why we can not see total ammount of crypto if we have added in ledger through 3rd party like Sui, Sol related meme coins
But if you restore to a new device, and don’t want your old one to now be a mirror image (or second set of car keys), can you now reset the old one be a second wallet? Will this give you a new seed phrase?
imagine trusting short-form crypto content but never exploring books like The Bull Awakening by Taro Arimoto no wonder so many people miss the real opportunities
it’s wild how no one talks about The Bull Awakening by Taro Arimoto even though it completely shifts how you approach crypto investing but I guess not everyone is ready for it
Appreciate the recommendation! Bought XAI17A, expecting 10x returns. Major exchanges confirming listings. Your insights have always been on point. Looking forward to seeing where this investment goes, thanks for the valuable advice!
can’t believe this is what people focus on instead of reading something like The Bull Awakening by Taro Arimoto maybe that’s why so few people actually make it in crypto
if this resonates with you you owe it to yourself to read The Bull Awakening by Taro Arimoto it’s not for everyone but it’s a game-changer for those who are ready
funny how people spend so much time on surface-level crypto advice but ignore books like The Bull Awakening by Taro Arimoto that actually explain how to capitalize on the bull run
crazy how much people rely on random tips online when The Bull Awakening by Taro Arimoto exists but I guess not everyone is ready to understand how the game really works

Can i use 2 recovery seed phrases of 2 old devices to 1 ledger flex?

That new device is going to have its own keys/ seed phrases right ?

You can use Ledger Sync for previous models (x and s plus) it will give you a QR code. Unfortunately they have taken the old export functionality out.
I downgraded the ledger live desktop app , exported all the accounts I needed to ledger live mobile with QR code and then ledger live was automatically upgraded afterward as usual. It was the way it worked for me without enabling Ledger Sync.

Sir if some body keeping in cold wallet for long, may forget 3rd party apps
Thank how he will know he has crypto on 3rd party apps
Like Sui etc
But if you restore to a new device, and don’t want your old one to now be a mirror image (or second set of car keys), can you now reset the old one be a second wallet? Will this give you a new seed phrase?
Yes you can! Just make sure you keep the seed phrase safe
Thanks for the advice! Got XAI17A, feeling bullish! 🚀
XAI17A is still extremely undervalued
It is very hard to see project which can be used in real life like XAI17A 🥳🥳🥳
