Oooooh, beautiful! Your cuticles are so clean. I didn't know there were plates for French manicures; I'll definitely go check those out; French is my favorite! Edited to add, just ordered the plates and a few other goodies!
I LOVE this product. It's the best on the market. I can wear it for about 1-2 months and then my nails start peeling and I have to wait until they stop to wear it again🤨 I have the worlds most fragile nails, but this stuff is the best out there.
Beautiful!! I am intrigued. Found your link in the dazzle dry group. I have never heard of stamping but adding to my list. New subscriber here. Thanks for the tutorial.
I noticed your manicure in your card video with little envelopes and was sure that you hadn’t done that yourself. I was so excited when I saw how you achieved such a beautiful French manicure on your own. It really is quite lovely!
Oh my goodness! You do a wonderful job! Thank you so much for sharing this video because I tried using a stamping plate and was very unhappy with my results. I can see a couple of things that I didn't do correctly, so I'll be watching this video a couple of times before I try again. First, I'll be getting some latex because that makes a huge difference--I found that the white stamping polish is very hard to clean from skin. I use an angled eye liner smudger (looks very much like yours) to clean up because that angle is easy to work around the nails and is just stiff enough. Second, I see how you press way down with the stamper and now I know that I didn't use nearly enough pressure. My hands are just too shaky to paint those smile lines freehand so I'll be very happy to master the stamping plate and stamper. I agree with you that Transform is a beautiful nude color by itself. I also like to add one more coat of the sheer pink over the white tips to make them look a bit more natural. I'll see you on the DD Facebook page!
Wow! I don’t do anything with my nails. Have had one French manicure as a gift. Just not in my budget I feel like I have been living on another planet! Thanks so much for this video. I love the look!
Fascinating to watch you stamping a French manicure! Never have tried stamping on my nails. I do thank you for the referral to Dazzle Dry. It is a fabulous product and the results are well worth the time it takes to complete a DD manicure.
It sure is. Thankfully Dazzle Dry dries so quickly, so it's not a big deal. I completed this entire manicure in an hour (40 minutes of actual painting/stamping + 20 minutes of drying). And it was completely dry at that point, unlike regular polish that is "dent-able" for hours after. :)
Fun video Kristina! I had no idea about these products. Love the extra gloss plus you have lovely shaped nails. I think maybe I could do it but my right hand might be a little sketchy🤣.
Dazzle Dry is awesome! The main benefit of using DD polishes is the incredibly fast dry time. If you do a basic manicure of just base + color + top coat, it really is rock hard dry after only 5 minutes. I add lots of layers to get a plump look, so I let mine dry longer. I have a more comprehesive video here if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/8AaXHBn1TpY/видео.htmlsi=hHIQfs1yNdy2D4ff
I LOVE DAZZLE DRY! I've been using them since they launched! It's all I use! Like I said I love the polishes just not the prices now! It's since tripled! But I won't use anything else! Oh and BTW no need to wait so long in between to dry. By the time you finish painting your last nail the first one is completely dry! 😊 Why it's my favorite!
I tend to get bubbles if I don’t wait between coats, so the drying time is crucial for me. Maybe it’s the environment I live in? Super dry and desert. Not sure. I just don’t want to have to redo manicures because of bubbles so I play it safe and always wait between coats. 🤷🏻♀️
The DD base has never smeared my stamping and I stamp basically every time I do my nails. If I forget to warm up the base coat before i hit it with my heat gun for a minute… that’s only if I don’t remember to have it warm up while I’m doing my prep though.
I never knew about Dazzle Dry! I use Sally Hansel’s Quick Dry and LOVE it! Wonder if I could do a French with that stamper and SH? This is SO cool; TFS! ❤
Some of the SH Quick Dry polishes work great for stamping! It really just depends on the color. If you’re going for a French manicure, I’d recommend just buying a white stamping polish from Maniology or Moyou London at the same time when you buy the stamping plate, stamper, and scraper. White polishes specifically made for stamping really do provide a better result.
I agree with others...fascinating to watch the process! Had no idea about stamping on nails... Trying to get back doing my own nails and leaving the salon behind. However, my left hand does not seem to do a good job painting my right hand nails! Is that something that just takes practice? I'd never do a French manicure...too stark for me, so loved you comments about stopping early on with the ridge filler...that's all I want to do! Would you discuss polish remover, please? Are they all basically the same or not???
Yes, it does become easier with practice. Also, be sure to brace both hands on a tabletop to make it more steady, and just breathe and take your time. :) I use Zoya Remove+ and have been using it for years. I think the scent isn't as strong as some other removers and it doesn't dry out my nails and skin. Because I do many layers of Dazzle Dry, it does take a tiny bit more time to remove, though. I just hold a soaked cotton pad on each nail for about 10 seconds and then wipe to remove.
I basically do everything with my dominant hand until the last minute when I have my left hand hold the stamper. I sort of push my right fingers into the stamper more than push the stamper onto them. If that makes sense.
Generally that's where you'll get the most wear. The tips of your nails can run into things and usually if any chipping of the polish is going to happen it's on that free edge. So if you can, I find capping the tip to prevent any of that. :)
Sadly, the regular Dazzle Dry colors dry too quickly to be used for stamping. However, you can use stamping polishes from other brands on top of a regular plain Dazzle Dry manicure. Just substitute it and follow the same steps. :)
Thanks so much for posting this, super informative! I've been using Dazzle Dry for the past 6 months and love the system. If I wanted to stamp using other colors, can I just use Dazzle Dry Lacquer polishes or does it only working using the stamping polishes? It looks like they only have the stamping polishes in black or white and I wanted to use different colors.
Yes, after far as Dazzle Dry polishes, only the ones specifically for stamping work for stamping. And unfortunately, I think Dazzle Dry is discontinuing all of their stamping lacquer colors. It makes me so sad! I think they only have black in their shop now. But you can use other brands of stamping polish on top of your Dazzle Dry manicure. You’d use the same steps I show in this video, but use the other brand of stamping polish. I really like Moyou and Maniology stamping polish colors.
Absolutely! That's why I love using Transform. My first few manicures with DD did not include Transform and I wasn't a fan of how thin the finished polish looked. Once I used Transform I loved it!
@@kwernerdesign awesome! I just ordered the kit with ridge filler, color lit and two colors for a French manicure. I’m way too excited to do my nails 😂
Yes. It lasts a long time without chipping. I don’t recommend wearing it a super long time, though. It’s best to change the polish every week. However, for that entire week there is no chipping. :)
They used to before I started using Dazzle Dry. Dazzle Dry does not have nitrocellulose, which is the chemical that yellows nails. No yellowing is one the features I love about using Dazzle Dry. :)
Dazzle Dry polishes do not require a light. They will dry very quickly on their own. If you are using a gel polish that requires curing in a UV or LED lamp, then you would do that before stamping. Stamping with gel polishes is just a bit different, so I would recommend doing a search here on RUclips for that for more specific instruction.
When I did gel polish, I spent even longer trying to remove it without damaging my nails. This product and method works great for me since it can be removed with regular polish remover, and with no damage to my nails. I loved the amazing shine of gel polish, but couldn’t do it without damage.
As someone that paints her nails, I always look at your card videos to see your nails. Thank you for sharing this process
Beautiful manicure! Your cuticles are so clean and that also helps your hands look so great. I wish i could master that!

@@sylviam1196 I don't have any DD stamping polish. I use Maniology, Uber Chic, Clear Jelly Stamper, and the cheap stuff from Amazon

Does the transform ridge filler make the manicure appear thicker than regular polish, more like gel polish?

They also have a new clear Transform.
I’ve tried it. It’s not exactly clear. It’s a milky sheer. I actually prefer the original over Bare Transform.
@@kwernerdesign I agree that the original is best. I should have said milky.
How is it that your nails never look yellow from all the polishing you do?
They used to before I started using Dazzle Dry. Dazzle Dry does not have nitrocellulose, which is the chemical that yellows nails. No yellowing is one the features I love about using Dazzle Dry. :)
Hi, can one use the blue light to help dry the polishes and stamp ?

Can gel top coat be used as well?
I’ve never tried it since I am avoiding gel polish. The DD top coat when applied in two coats is strong enough for me.
