Hello there! I have tried this with gel polish. I find that pushing the nail at an angle at the bottom area of the polish reduces or even eliminates the flooding under the nail. Or I would apply a generous amount of liquid latex under the nail for easy clean up if the polish does flood.
Love this hack! I have done this with gel polish and I would say it’s slightly easier if anything as the gel doesn’t dry until you say do and can do any clean up straight away 😊
I can do my own nails, but no matter what I try for a French it never works. I bought a stamper and followed the advice to 'rough' it up a little, but the OPI lacquer still separates. So frustrating. I use KB Shimmer base and topcoat for a fast drying manicure. Any ideas ??
it's not working properly, it's messy, not worth the money and free handing french looks soooo much better and there are other methods that also are far better than this stupid stamper method

I use this hack to do gel French manicures on my mom. So much faster than free handing it.
