Yes, these photos are so often stolen and use completely different types of products! Also, high-quality color-shifting pigments that are bright are really expensive, they could never sell them for a bargain price... Fake photos are also often used for cheap press-on nails, you can really tell that the photos are custom-made gel nails from a salon and the press-ons look way different and are just printed-on designs! If it looks too good to be true, it often is... there is no way that mass-produced nails will look like custom-made salon nails. It sucks that they use those fake photos though!
@@Saphindra you are correct somewhat-they do show salon nails but they normally have photos of the actual press ons and you can see the actual product you will receive which looks different from the “main photo” some people just don’t pay attention to those details- it sucks but its there- p.s. not every website is the same -but they pull this a lot with wigs and hair products as well - (TIP) I always make sure now to look and pay very close attention to ALL the photos and blow them up 💓
I think with these products advertisement, it's photoshopped or altered. I stopped buying cheap products because you could just tell they really won't work just from the pictures.
Some of them are not photo shopped some of them you have to just use a stronger magnet. Sometimes the magnets they give you are not that strong they give you a cheap magnet. Second thing, I think they use the jelly color rather than just a regular polish.
Something that helps with the mold is to put the color in first like you did and then cure it, but then put on a thicker layer of clear gel and cure again to prevent tearing and design distortion when lifting the design out of the mold.
With the magnetic smile line polish, I liked the way you did it much better than the ad pic. Yours looked like a galaxy on a nail. Absolutely beautiful.

@8:07 upon experimenting with the detailed nail molds I found casting it with clear then panting it once it is on the nail works best as you are able to keep clean lines
I got sucked in and bought 6 different cat eye polishes. Unless you constantly have them under a bright light they are all very dull. I also noticed that in direct sunlight an additional colour showed up which was pretty cool, but in the shade it went away…….🇦🇺❤️
I've bought two magnetic nail polishes from Starrily (from their planets collection) and the dual chrome one for sure delivered exactly what the pictures promised. It does have much more colour and sparkles that aren't magnetised so the nails overall look sparkly green or sparkly purple based on the lighting, with a moving line visible under artificial or natural light. Whenever I take the time and effort to layer them correctly, I keep staring at my nails all day because it's so pretty :) (Note that they are regular nail polishes, not gel, but I suppose there are probably similar things for gel polishes)

I’m reluctant to buy some gel polishes due to products I’ve purchased being nothing like advertised. Especially the glitters. There’ll be these beautiful pictures of nicely coloured polishes and very glittery. When I got them they were literally clear polish with glitter. I bought a set of 6 and 3 were identical lol. Never again
With the cat eyes, I believe you have to start off with a back colour first, to make everything pop. Then do the cat eye polish. And if you want to double smile line, do one smile line, cure it, so it won’t get effected when you apply a second layer and do the second smile line.
I’ve given up on these gadgets, waste on money and time. Just sticking to simple things now, like press on sticky flowers, chrome, and glitter colour gels on ring finger and cat’s eyes on a rare occasion, only because you need really good lighting to see the proper effects, maybe one day I will purchase a professional set and see the difference. I make resin jewellery personally I think the best way to use the dragon mold would be to Get a nail that fits the mold glue a stick or something so you can pull it up out of the mold easily. Put a really thin coat of Vaseline on the nail then press it into the mold. Now when you put the gel in the mold it should roll of the non dragon parts.
The cat eye will work as pictured. This colour would need a base colour similar to the cat eye gel, not on a clear base. Then you would need to do same line twice, in very same spot as first. Then go again moving the magnet slightly higher. But saying that… not all cateyes are created equal. I find I’m forever learning new technique to improve the effect because… IM OBSESSED with cateye. I currently have a super cool layered cat eye to look like a plait then go on with a black liner to define the edges.
Love it..! I think for me I would put acrylic powder in the 3D form before placing it on the acrygel. I do put a no wipe top coat in the molds before I put a gel polish then you don’t need to top coat it completely after you apply the mold art down 🙂.
Not being mean, but the extra long square nails look like straws on your fingers. I just don’t understand the craze I guess. Maybe for a video shoot but not practical in real life. Of course life would be dull if we didn’t do unpractical things once in a while. I GUESS I can see it for an evening out or special occasion.
I love these kind of product testing videos, they are very valuable to us... My only corrective criticism would be to say, you were talking to fasted and rushed. It very hard to understand or process what your saying, as I am trying hard to just catch it all. If you spoke slower in a more controlled rhythm, it would not only be more beneficial, but also more enjoyable. Also, is the room your in empty? Bare walls? There an empty echo, like your in a warehouse kind of sound. Combine that with your speed taking, and your accent - and it's hard to hear and understand. A few pictures on the walls, some shelves, couple of pieces of furniture and it will take away thay echo. Thanks for testing and sharing 😊
hello Anastasia, I am a fan of yours from Holland and I have a question. I like to do full cover tips on myself, but I have a few nails that go down from the middle of the nail bed. If I place the tip near the cuticle and gently press down to get the air out, the tip goes up again near the cuticle, help, what can I do best!!!! 💖🥰
I lost the comment I was going to reply to. I use press on nails all the time. Some are clear that I polish and do nail art on before I attach them and some are already decorated ones. I give myself a good manicure first ie, cleaning up the cuticles and buffing the nails dull. I always use a top coat first on my real nail, then buff the top coat dull again, then use Jello Jello easy remove base gel. Then I make sure my cuticles aren't stuck under the Jello Jello so the press on nails can slip slightly under the cuticle area so there is no nail edge showing. People think I've had them done professionally. I alway put a no-wipe top coat over the pre-finished press ons to keep them from having the paint wear off too quickly. They last two weeks or more though I change them about every 8-10 days because i get bored with them easily.

its funny how there are hardly any tutorials with the magnet. Ive bought 3 sets of magnets from 3 different websites and nothing glitters when i move the magnets around my fingers just to make a verticle line. ive been trying for two weeks. it lookes like the glitter moves around the magnets on tutorials. all i see is tutorials for other kinds of nail design. is it my magnets or my magnetic polish? . i bought two sets of those to and my nails look retarded😢

It looks like maybe the color at the end of the tip is under the jelly cat eye polish.

All of these online ads for incredibly cheap nails, clothes, etc are always misleading. It never pays to buy cheap.

I'm not sure if you did it this way but the way I get the double smile line is I do the first one, cure it, then the second color.

If you want to use a The cat eyes , use a blue base coat that is a darker version of the color color in your cats eye. It will show up better I think

Idk if anyone has mentioned it but chrome is notorious for not working with clear coats in model making etc, I'm not sure I'd work with a top coat.
I use Chrome on top of IDB seal, with zero problems 🤷🏽♀️ it’s a glass like top coat, rubs on super smooth

Magnetic Cat Eye Gel : You put the magnetic color by itself.. its supposed to go ontop of a solid color.. hope this helps
