I don't understand why some ppl could say that even after the transformation, Anna's nails still look bad. 😮 Anastasia, you are truly amazing, a wizard with Anna's nails!! And these transformations are just BEAUTIFUL! 😍👏🏼👏🏼 Also, Anna's nails look so much better now, under your care, compared to how she started off. Kudos to you both!! And thanks for sharing!

Beautiful work on Ana's nails as always! It's so frustrating when people who have no idea what you're doing tries to tell you that you're doing something wrong. No matter how professional someone is at their job, there are some things that just can't be done. It's not like a nail tech can magically heal the cuts and wounds on someone's hands, all they can do is do their best to prevent more damage from happening. Maybe the haters should try it themselves before complaining 🙄

I always love watching your videos, because I always learn a new thing! I didn't know that our nail beds would extend if we have fake nails on! This is such an important thing to consider when trying to strengthen nails that will not extend naturally!!

Her nails have come a long way. I feel her with the ratty cuticles though. I have stopped biting my nails but I still compulsively pick at the cuticles when my nails have no polish on them, which is often with my job as a nurse.

This post is long, but I hope it can help someone dealing with Anna's condition. It looks like Anna has excoriation disorder, which is a skin-picking compulsion related to OCD. I had this problem so bad that my cuticles were always cut up and bleeding. It also caused my proximal fold, (the dead part she trims) to be broken up and hardened. Over time, my nails got grooves in them from constantly messing with my cuticles. My hands looked like Anna's, except I didn't bite my nails, I just picked at the cuticles and proximal fold.
This can be a very serious mental health issue and can cause bacteria to enter under the broken skin. You can get bacterial infections. Anna needs to see a therapist. I was cured of my problem after eight long years of suffering. In my case, I had to trace back to when the compulsion started. It was about six months after a traumatic event. So with a therapist, I had to work through the unexpressed painful repressed emotions I had about what had happened to me. It was not easy! I've been completely cured for many years now, and I still look back and shudder at how painful my fingers always were.
This disorder is not something you "choose" to do and it isn't just a bad habit as some might think. It is serious and very painful. You can't use willpower to overcome it. You have to get help and deal with whatever emotional trauma caused it. I hope this will help anyone suffering with this awful disorder!
