  • In this video we pick up the story in Charleston, SC where we are living aboard the sailboat on anchor. We are installing a complete B&G system including a Zeus 9 Chart Plotter, an Auto Pilot Computer, two Triton 2 Displays, and much more. We are also working on the diesel engine, cosmetic projects, and the new electrical distribution panel. We're also moving to the dock for the first time! We're ALMOST finished with the renovation of Grace so we went ahead and christened her. Only two more renovation videos left then we're going sailing around the world! First stop, Abacos.

This comment inspires me! So many other channels inspired me to make a change (Sailing La Vagabonde, Parlay Revival, Delos, Teulu Tribe, Spear it Animal) I aspire to inspire and to live a full life and hearing that the videos have relit that fire for you motivates us more than you know! Thanks for commenting and good luck with your sailboat journey! Reach out to me on instagram in the DM's cause I have a lot of advice and lessons learned on the boat buying/renovating process! Maybe I can help!

You're doing great with the videos. No need to apologize. Really enjoying them. You are like the 5th or 6th channel I am following that has bought, refitted/upgraded and then gone sailing.

In this video I saw someone climbing up from the dock to the boat and it looked difficult.......Allow me to give you a piece of advice that will make boarding the boat at a dock easier......at Walmart, Lowes, or Home Depot buy yourself a set of aluminum folding steps (3 or 4 steps) and set them on the dock next to your boat for boarding and de-boarding. Be sure to tie a safety line to them to prevent them from being blown overboard by the wind or a tidal change. When not in use they're easy to store in a lazarette. They may come in handy too when trying to reach something on the mast. I've had a set on my Beneteu 42s7 for years and they make life easier.

It’s been awesome watching you transform from being a deckhand on Below Deck to you buying and renovating your own boat. You’re awesome Chase. Love the content!

Big fan of your channel and really enjoy the videos. I do want to say though that you should have been driving the boat at all points in this video, under the supervision of your Captain of course. It's the ideal time to be learning how to dock etc and learning by doing is the best way.
