I wish I could just find a hunting buddy man. Ive tried and tried and tred. Brought my friend out to turkey hunt last year and right at daylight had 3 gobblers at 100 yards in a field fired up strutting,gobbling, putting on a show. Heard dude say "this sucks" 😂 during all that
CMore I agree I hunt by myself most of the time all year. Doesn’t matter what I am hunting for

Doing what you typically always do hunting right on private land boundaries and trying to pull turkeys off posted land this is first time you actually didn't depend on someone else's land to pull from

I hunted Northeast Mississippi this morning and was fortunate enough to have a bird that wanted company and he went home with me in the bed of my truck.

I have a turkey spot I want you guys to try out it is in Missouri and really not much hunters it is called Alfred Newton Gossett conservation area so many turkeys and never killed one but I want the pros to do it

I’m probably behind the times and this question has probably been asked a thousand times but I missed it. Why don’t you use decoys?
It’s not all that practical for the way they hunt. Hunting public ground, you’ve gotta be ready to cover a lot of miles, hunt run’n’gun style. Hauling around decoys is an extra weight and an unnecessary hassle, especially when you’re crawling down creek beds or covering mountains trying to get within range of one. That’s my guess at least, cause I don’t use decoys either for those reasons
In the end, it's the fun hunts we remember best, more than the success.
We all appreciate all the hard work you guys put in to get fresh content. Keep up the great work
Michigan season is a month out, we still have 6” snow on the ground. Seeing turkeys in winter flocks still.

Had my 10 y/o son with me a couple years ago when I first gave turkey hunting a try. Actually messed around and had one talking to us and moving our direction. I thought "Oh man. I'm going to call this turkey in for him first day out!". Then it hung up on the next ridge over. We started moving sideways down the ridge to try to make it move and heard the gunshot. Pretty much identical reaction to what you showed. Had my call in my hand about to chirp and bit and boom and knew immediately what that meant. My son was still super excited. Looking forward to season here in GA!
Excellent video ! Hey guys when ya`ll are hunting with two or more person like you did in this video, put the caller back behind the shooter about 40 or 50 yards back and that should bring the turkey in closer where the shooter can get a shot.
