One of my favorite things about THP is the fact Jake is always smiling and laughing 😂😂😂. Shoots a turkey, he's cracking up. Smokes a big buck he's laughing. Zack smokes a big buck he's laughing. Got into a car accident he's laughing 😂😂😂😂
U would be smiling and laughing all the time if your job was running around hunting all the time... I know I would be.

Thankful you guys are ok. Count your blessings. I was in a head on collision 2 weeks ago today and still recovering. It was a rollover. Destroyed my truck but miraculously I’m alive and not seriously injured. God is good! Enjoying watching all you fellas and the Turkey Tour. God bless you all and be safe! 🦃
Here's a list of sounds I have heard that caused a gobbler to answer: slamming a truck door, a donkey he hawing, a dog barking, thunder, patterning a shotgun at a coke can before leaving the farm after a morning hunt ( I set up and killed that one), other hunters shooting at turkeys, and my favorite, the backup alarm on a school bus turning around at the end of a road.
When I was about 17 I had the exact same thing happen accept they’re ere going about 65. Pushed my truck across the road and up a hill. The only thing that stopped me from going through a iron gate was the tree I smoked. Afterwards I was told that had I not had a tow hitch the back end of my truck would’ve been in my back and it potential saved my life. Glad y’all were safe.

Everyone saying the same thing. That kid could tell his insurance whatever and next thing you know insurance is saying no fault and you’re responsible for your damages. Always get the report! Glad your ok!
Not really when on camera he says i was on my phone definitely an at fault on the kid’s fault hes not paying attention to the road hes paying attention to his phone
My gf was in a wreck and we called the police for a report, they told us unless somebody was injured they would not come out. They said the only thing we can do is take TONS of pictures and your insurance and their insurance will determine who's at fault. Pretty crazy lol
And especially if the back and neck pains increase?!
@Kameron Day probably depends where your from. In the city the cops are busy usually. But in the country they show up for anything.
School busses are starting to have cameras on them so they can catch people not stopping for them. That one could of had one and maybe caught it.
I'm envious of your guys's positive attitudes and your ability to keep on trucking as things get rough. Just like the video where Ted's car was breaking down and it didn't stop him from shooting a monster buck. This video was no different Aaron's car gets rear-ended but it doesn't stop him from going out in the woods and chasing gobblers. Glad everyone's okay and look forward to continuing to watch your guys's videos. THP Fan for life right here!!!!

I have had a wood wise peacock call for a long time. Bought it over 20 years ago. It has that high screach sound. Great locator call!
Please beware as often times after a rear end collision, symptoms won't appear for weeks or even months. My bestie was rear ended and thought she was okay. 5-6 mos later she began having constant nagging headaches but didn't think it was wreck related and didn't seek medical advice. 9mos after the wreck she suddenly died. She did infact have a neck injury that slowly restricted blood flow to her brain.

Glad everyone is alright. Good thing yall had room between you and the bus. My dad had a semi rear end him and jam his f250 into a bus in Mississippi. He saw it coming and was able to angle his truck so that he caught the corner of the frame instead of going right through the back door.

I hope you guys are alright, some times it takes a few days for the soreness and pain to set in keep that in mind if your are feeling even a little pain after a few days you should go to a Dr. to get checked out.
Me and my dad got rear ended and he had neck problems for over a year and busted my ear drum. Good luck hunting and hope yals soreness don't last too long

Always get the report and never use the words " I feel ok" when the other parties insurance calls you. My father had complications a month after a rear end and made that mistake. He felt fine after the accident, but while on vacation later, his muscles gave up on picking up the slack for his neck being out of alignment. It was a legal battle to pay for treatment on his neck. Best of luck fellas.

Eh airbag light Probly triggered the collision sensors if your hurting there’s Gforce sensors that go off if it goes over a certain measurement.
Worse case they total it out and you can buy it back and buy a junkyard bumper. Don’t get rid of that truck those are the best tundras made. No matter what don’t buy one of the new turbo v6 ones😓 🤚🏼yotatech

When you guys were owl calling to get that turkey to gobble, my little chihuahua started howling to your owl call. I was able to replay it and get him on video. Then when I played the video for my husband this morning both the Chihuahua and our chocolate lab started howling to the my video. My husband was able to get video of that. It was hilarious. Love the videos.

I got rear-ended at 50mph in November and I was in a 2500 3/4 ton. A ford edge hit me, she broke 4 ribs, both arms. My bumper was in my back tires, I would assume u got hit around 25mph, otherwise 50, you would be hurting. I saw stars for an hour after. Happy you both are ok

I always use the ole diaphragm call for the screech in the owl hoot sequence.. saves them vocal cords!👌 Keep up the good work n happy hunting fellas!!

Aaron, your calling is competition worthy. You've improved 100% over the last 2 seasons. I'm still working on the front end of the yelp. It's still too much back-end rasp for me.
I was in a wreck just like that got whip lash didn’t really feel it until the next day and 2 years later I’m still feeling it messed me up so y’all need to get checked!!!!
Check your tranny mounts. I got into rear ended once and thought it wasn't that bad, but had a mechanic check out my truck. Turned out that the transmission had ripped free from the tranny mount. Still felt and drove normal, he showed it to me and it surprised the heck out of me. That hitch is attached to the frame so make sure you check where that connects also.
Glad your ok a van pulled out in front of me on November 4 my favorite week to be in the woods and I t bone them goin 45 in my truck that weekend was just terrible hunting for me keeped getting busted by does or didn’t see a deer and got a parking ticket because I forgot to change the tag over to the other vehicle I was using 😂 it’s pretty funny lookin back how made I was but a week ago I finally got my 2009 f150 4x4 in the shop just for them to tell me it’s totaled at least I got to haul two bucks outta public u guys r amazing u guys got me out there and the first deer season on public after watching u all summer I killed my biggest buck so fair 135 with double drop tin. I’ve been hooked ever since for public land hunting thank u hope y’all r all good

Thank goodness you guys are ok. Looking at the bright side, you have him recorded admitting he was on the phone and without a police report you won't have a crash report attached to your driving history. Crash history makes your insurance rates go up. Keep on keeping on, stay safe out there 👍👍
It took me about 3 days to get the screech down. Its like yall said it comes from the back of your throat. Its kinda like straining. Also a good locator i dont use a call for is a crow. Ive hardly had any success with the owl call after birds hit the ground but i did a crow call and get them to hammer. These Louisiana birds are shy once people start running the wma roads.

I don’t screech, I just get really loud at the end of my owl hoot to get it to carry on windy days. I’ll see if I can email a video of it to you guys.
I have had owls follow me through the woods after doing owl calls. Weird and cool at the same time.

I had a guy back into my rig one time on a salmon fishing trip in upstate NY and we had the same insurance, we called and they took the info and said we weee all set, 3 days later they called back to say that his insurance was expired 🤦♂️. Either way love the videos and tips. I’ve been practicing with the mouth calls and would love to see some breakdowns on sequences of calling and why given the circumstances. I personally can’t wait till VT opener.

Between the shoulder blades is where my back got broken now I’m fighting getting drs to sign a crossbow permit as disabled cuz I have a job and they think it’s liability to check I’m permanently disabled with 2 hand and wrist surgery’s and break in the spine lol good luck with the back!
You should report your injuries! Ruptured neck and back discs are common from being rear ended.
