I shot my first turkey on youth day in PA last weekend. It took me 6 years because the neighbor calls at turkeys anytime he sees them so they know the calling drill pretty well.
Congrats on ur pa birds. I been after them 20 years and I'm still at 0. When it comes to gobblers anyways. I've killed 2 hens lol

As always - great stuff fellas! Congrats Ted!!! You guys need to consider making Nick a regular member of your crew. He brings a nice dimension to the outfit - not to mention - my man can cook. The great bird can do some strange things to you. Getting the shakes before the kill or, in my case, I get hit with such an adrenaline rush after the kill, it often results in a brief bout of dry heaves. I saw Josh Grossenbacher of Zink calls experience the same reaction a while back so I figured I was in good company. 😉

Opening day here yesterday in canada, tryed some of your tactics. It worked 22.2 lb. Had to work hard for it, but it was good.

More often than not, a strutting turkey will continue to strut when he believes he should be able to see the calling hen (you). A wise, educated bird won't move much closer than he has to to collect the hen. Set up is everything. If there's some cover around you he's more likely to hunt the hen (you). Warb is an expert at setting up in spots that the turkey has to come hunting the hen. This is more critical than being a great caller. If you're not killing turkeys bad set ups is probably why.

No matter how many seasons go by it never gets old, being tagged out in Ohio I enjoy watching you guys hunt even more now that I'm done. My 8 yr old tagged a jake youth weekend, I killed a gobbler this past Monday and my dad too the next day. Awesome year good luck guys

I was thinking nick was going to turn around and tell Greg that Ted was going into a full blown seizure and you would have to take the gun away from him before he shot at that turkey when he was about a 100 yards out there but he managed to get his self together. Laughing...... I've been there and you sit there and think why in hell am I shaking so much but you have no control over it. Congrats fellas on another well deserved bird.

The hunting public videos have always been my fav and that’s why o support them. Buying there gear and watching videos. But recently they are the only videos I have interest in watching. I just relate the most with them. I have to go in blind a lot and find a bird. Never get to roost them really. Just go in blind and go to work

That was my entire 22 season in a nutshell. They were so tough to get to commit and they would only gobble 2-3 time on the limb and then silence on the ground
