Absolutely awesome Waddy!! I made every opening morning of Turkey and deer season with my dad. 40 deer seasons and 18 turkey seasons. Lost my dad April 6, 2020. My daughter and son-in-law hunt with me now. And very soon, my grandsons will join. I love to deflate turkeys and deer now as much as ever. But now, it's about passing the love, passion and desire to improve the habitat and enjoy the hunting traditions and pass them on. I enjoy my memories and look forward to making new ones as well. I know the feeling of being the child learning, the partner and now the mentor. Not a greater feeling in the world guys. Watching your videos, I can relate on such a personal level. Thanks for being you and being true to who you are. Congratulations and make many more flop brother and keep making those memories!!!

So thats how great turkey hunting is done in the south..I have never seen decoy used that way..amazing for sure..us northern boys just got a big lesson on how too hunt with a decoy.. awesome turkey hunt. Congrats to you yalll!

Been trying so hard up here in SE Minnesota to get my little girl on one. This is year 5! Time to get it done. It seems with my boy, I make 3 yelps at sun up and they fly in his lap every year. Haha! It's a year for my little girl! Great video.

Everyone wants young hunters to get the first crack this spring, but there are factors which must be considered.
Having them lean against a tree instead of sitting on the ground is a viable option. Shot placement opportunities will increase, and pointing the gun to the ground until when time to pull the trigger prevents shaking while waiting for the bird to come within range. Their experience will be alot more positive, believe me. Already dressed like a tree with camouflage attire, just a stump not very tall next to a tree that is.

great hunt and great lessons. kill em at all costs. the floppin tom decoy is deadly. small caliber rifles should be legal. then no turkey would ever beat us. nothing to be gained or learned by him walking off. wow.

wouldn 't be as much to celebrate if someone had mistakenly shot ole waddy carrying that tom around. even private property doesn't guarantee it won't happen. even worse, what if some kid, with less experience, after watching this video gets killed carrying a tom decoy around. people get killed turkey hunting every year mistaken for a turkey. carrying a fanned out tom through the woods is foolish, not to mention unsportsmanlike. but heck, videos have deadlines. can't waste all season hunting him right. i can express my opinion since i don't sell calls or magical camo patterns.
