I've been listening to Charles for few yrs I believe. What amazes me is how he remembers every detail of what happend in these stories. He even remembers Roy's story's better than Roy 🤣

After listening to the first couple pods with Charles I bought his book and got my uncle a copy. He reminds me a lot of my uncle who got me into hunting. Them ol boys are wild. Hunting was different back in the day from what I hear. 😂

@mr.skeptical3071 he's a well known poacher and piece of crap human being. If you had to ask this question you have lived under a rock in the hunting industry. Any more questions revert back to step one.
@@mr.skeptical3071 because about half is biggest bucks were poached, everyone his age around here where he grew up knows all about his poaching past and he's still doing some sketchy stuff today
Charlie is right, it is way harder to hunt those bucks in the brush. And that is exactly how you have to rattle them up!

So poaching is cool if it happened a long time ago? Why are people so impressed by the "success" of poachers? I wonder how many of those animals on display were taken legally...
There wasn’t much big money in hunting back then. It was not as serious as it is now. People are more impressed with the fact that he would go for days at a time actually hunting and sleeping on the ground instead of slinging corn out on the road as the truck drives off from dropping your ass off in an insulated shooting house. Why are people so impressed with the way people hunt now? It’s just a matter of who has the most money now. Shooting cattle basically. Think what you want but he is a real hunter and outdoorsman.

That man hunted harder and better than 99.9% of hunter’s today! Just so happens he is a fantastic story teller and has many great stories to tell!!
