It boggles my mind that they added these things to MCC, but they didn't immediately carry over to Infinite from the start. I thought MCC was going to be a testing ground for things like the battle pass, match composer, exchange etc to make sure they're good to go in Infinite from the beginning
different teams working on different things it seems

Have you watched the freakin credits?! Outsourcing and Bad Management coupled with a vision that is not halo. If it weren't for the awesome campaign music and the best halo gameplay (imo) the game would've been dead a long time ago. Probably around S2

Because it isn’t immediately obvious what the update did besides remove playlists. Since I follow halo news I was not confused but I play with a group of people and none of them immediately understood what changed and how to use the match composer.
@@rfitzpatrick723exactly. It'd be nice if every time 343 made a big change, they do a pop-up cinematic, like sea of thieves or other games.

Used to take 30 seconds for me to find a husky raid match, when I search for husky raid AND slayer in the composer it takes me 2 min, something isn’t right …
Less people are playing husky raid now since they discovered many new game modes that they like more
Population has tanked. Mint Blitz is on crack or something.
Because the UI is unusable and casual player will just give up as soon as they see that Husky Raid is gone.
Thats because match composer creates sub groups within sub groups of gametypes, making it way way way harder to find a match. Its like people don't understand simple math. The more gametypes they offer the more everyone is spread out and the longer you'll wait for a game. MATCH COMPOSER SUX! Its only good for excluding a gametype, not picking one. (I hate capture the flag)
What I need now is to update more weapons and vehicles, I see Halo 5 has a lot of good features.
Thats all i've wanted to, but most likely it wont happen.

I agree it’s funny how MCC did that right off the rip ya a bad launch but everything was there for us to enjoy and then all the new stuff that came after like the seasons and gear things we’ve never seen in the old halos and they nailed it infinite should of been 100x better but it’s 100x worse the developers maybe should start taking notes
I love that they added the composer, but it seems now that it will never give me a regular 4v4 slayer match even if I only have that and super fiesta chosen.
After you announced the CE remake, I returned to Halo infinite. I had a decently fun time with my best friend

@ZetaofCE the problem is infinite itself. It's the worst Halo ever released imo. First Halo game that I dropped permanently. Tired of seeing videos on it. Hope this nightmarish infinite era ends soon
@@ZetaofCE Infinite is THE worst fps ever released in history, CE still has more content than it to tgis day and that's an original xbox game with only campaign, a few maps, and color selection (it was free so technically that's a removed feature from infinite in place of 5 bucks for the color BLUE. 🟦)
They're free to enjoy Infinite, but to me, they are no Halo fan in my mind, and I'm a proud BUNGIE supremacist because EVERY SINGLE 343 GAME is a ripoff and many of you including me deserve better. 🤮

If husky raid is your favorite game mode you need to be held in a mental institute.
You know halo sucks now when THIS is what people get hype for instead of new fire fight modes new pvp modes even Campaign dlc and SOOOOO MUCH MORE. Its genuinely sad we LOWERED OUR STANDARDS SOOOOOO MUCH for this game because they set the bar so low when they made halo infinite.
We're not hyped for this. It's artificial hype for clicks. I can't say I necessarily blame them but Halotubers are having to scrape the absolute bottom of the barrel for content nowadays. Even the lore guys are having to rehash topics that they've already done videos on. The current state of Halo is depressing & I just want to reiterate that most fans really aren't hyped for things like a match composer 2.5 years after launch.
The new era! Where I can never play the modes I like because no one seems to be playing them or the game isn't letting me find anyone that does

Tbh this is the most fun I’ve had on halo almost ever. Only problem is that people who just go in not knowing what modes are selected will sometimes leave if they find a mode they don’t like
One time I happened to play a match with MintBlitz, one of the coolest experiences I've had with playing a video game. He's as good as he is in vids. It was the mode where you have to capture all the zones to score (I forgot what it's called lol), and we were down by 2. They needed capture one more to win and I seen Mints and cause I seen him I wanted to do my best and I ended up being like 2nd or 3rd in the leader border (of course behind Mints). Thanks to Mints we won :) It was cool to play with u :)
Norwegian player here, I can’t find any games anymore outside of quick play. I primarily play BTB and Squad Battle 😢

Mint Blitz is basically Master Chief, 343 should give him a special moniker or identified in the game. Besides his incredible gameplay, he consistently uploads content aimed at improving the game.
I would love a weekly/monthly halo clips montage, could be a cool place to promote members of the community or watch cool highlights together.

When my brother and I logged on and saw our favorite playlists were ALL gone, we quit and decided to come back in a week. I had no idea they were all under quickplay, a playlist I never use. 343 gave us something we’ve been wanting since launch, and it’s unfortunate they didn’t even communicate it to us. This isn’t the first time this has happened, either. I think all it would take would be an information pop-up when you boot the game the first time after the update. This is possibly the greatest update to the game since launch! I want 343 to get credit for it, not lose players because we thought 343 took away our favorite games!
Tried playing last night, the matches wouldn’t load due to the new match composer and the waiting times just for the match to be ready and allow me to press play. It’s never happened before and it is quite frustrating
At this point, I only play infinite for the parkour maps. I think infinite has the best jumping, perhaps even better than H3. Shame that the jumping community isn't bigger

I just want drivable scarabs and large battles with longswords and pelicans. Such infinite possibilities and yet it's just a finite game.

I dropped off the game a while back, but I do often enjoy listening to you talk about the changes you get excited about. Nice bit of halo optimism and some good updates, just can't commit to it at this stage.

Stupid question, but what is the difference between community and arena in the playlist?
I played quick play on a week night with ONLY Husky raid turned on and constantly had matches.
I didn't know you could roll with the banshee to prevent hijacking!
It was really fun the past days but today it felt really off, I sucked so bad out of nowhere but I hope that I just had a bad day
i'm SO glad about the composer update! the PBMM is still an issue, but just being able to play the specific game modes i enjoy has made a HUGE difference in how much i enjoy it.

I don’t understand what part of the match composer prevented it from being launched until now, it’s literally just a list of games to play. It’s not adding anything expect some UI and an algorithm for finding matches
I'm an Aussie too and can't seem to get games since the update. Wait times almost all say too long to find a match but even the ones that don't say that I can't find games in, even Quick Play. Do you have any ideas of what I should do?

Ravager has been able to block everything off the charge shot since the network update.
Was the change to the Ravager ever formally addressed? Feels more like a bug they haven’t addressed, otherwise they should make that interaction much more readable than it is currently.

Future content that I think we will get in the future:
Battle passes
Some game modes like Grifball, bounty hunter, Classic firefight, etc.
Update some weapons, like the Ravager Rebound and the Unbound plasma pistol, cause the normal versions are better.
and that would be all.
I will say since Match composer dropped, my enjoyment of the game has went up by an amount that could only be measured on a log scale. Being able to filter out the nonsense playlists has been excellent

So idk if anyone else has this issue but halo infinite dosnt launch on steam for me I've reinstalled it multiple times, been like this since the last couple major updates, not sure if it's since I downloaded it on external hard drive but it doesn't work and I don't have space on SSD

I'm pissed firefight is Grunts only for every difficulty
It’s not though. Just take off the two grunt labeled ones and leave the firefight one. Then you’ll get the other enemies.
For every firefight difficulty 2/3 options are gruntpocalypse
@@user-jh6jx7uw6f and if you don’t want to play those, turn them off and 1/1 playlist will be standard firefight.
@@user-jh6jx7uw6f match composer = toggle off those two modes. It's not as intuitive as MCC where every option on one screen. You'll have to look in Game List submenu and uncheck gruntpocalypse / gruntpocalypse fiesta
I do wish they brought back some of the MCC firefight variants though. Classic, Sniperfight, Fistfight, Fiestafight (non grunt)
