It's great to sometimes get an easy diagnosis - it makes your day a whole lot better!
Well done. 😉
Yep, it's nice from time to time to have a fast fix ⌚😉
Makes everyone happy 😁
Thanks man you helped me find my problem. So I used epoxy resin / araldite and some lay flat hose and gaffa tape and sealed the hole until the plazmaman pipe turns up.
You really helped and saved me so much confusion, thank you and keep sharing with us.
Thank you, i got a P006A code today and while researching that came across this video. I also have had a strange whistling noise when accelerating for the last couple of months. I took it to a mechanic and they said they couldn’t find any issues. I will check for a split hose and see if this is the issue for the whistle noise.
having that same code on my 2012 Ranger, very helpful vid, cheers mate
Thanks mate, I have exact same thing, found oil next to battery cover, from intercooler pipe
Cheers
Excellent Gerard. We should just have these hoses in stock! :)
Cheers Rob, sounds like a good idea mate 🤔😀😂
Have the same code come up, goes into limp mode, top hose is aluminium and is not split, checked intercooler but can't find anything wrong with it, haven't tried to pressurise it, all hose clamps were tight, any other ideas i can try.... ??
Hey mate did you find out what it was?
I am using ford ranger 3.2 i was hearing the same sound and found out the horse is damaged like in the video. THANX SO MUCH... however i changed the pipe but i can still hear the whooping sound on acceleration!! What can be the problem? Or there are error code to clear first!?
I have same issue on my Mazda 2.2 changed the split pipe but the noise n power train warning light comes back occasionally

Hello Keith,
There is a reason I don't do any phone diagnosing or online because of the many possibilities that surround vehicle faults. It is difficult enough to diagnose problems in the workshop with all my senses and professional tools at my disposal.
This is certainly the case with yours, you will need to bring it to a recommended repairer to assess the inputs and try and narrow down the fault to electrical or mechanical. Scan code reading, live data assessment, component testing, connection/wiring checks, shift solenoids or other transmission internal failure.
For anyone trying to figure it out through guessing without testing then it would be best to try and find the exact symptoms on forums or the likes.
@@GerardBurkeBurkesGarage hahaha worth a try as I was the first to like the video I thought you might answer then I looked at the 56k+ subs ! And realised not a chance sorry bud my apologies, I've done all that you suggested and no fault code has been found on this occasion but I really appreciate your reply all the same sincere apologies again ,
Thanks Mr Burke .👌🏼
