After owning 8 Iveco, 5 older pre 2000 ford transits, 2 Merc sprinters, and now Vauxhall Vivaro all well over 140k, I have only ever had one injector leak on an Iveco, I can't believe that Ford only use one bolt to hold down 2 injectors on the copper seal. I had trouble to stop leak with one injector that was threaded with a copper seal. There is enough problems with modern engines without having weak designs like that. I almost bought a transit custom on 43k and it sounded rough then, so you convinced me not to get one. Thanks for the upload.
Thanks very much, Jimmy, for a very helpful and useful video. You've packed a lot of information into a fairly short video. I really like that you show the tools used and how to use them. You show how much really goes into a job and the knowledge and skills required. You help people to help themselves and not get ripped off. Everyone should watch your channel!
This is peak Jimmy. Those fake DPF ‘experts’? Anyone can buy the tools. The knowledge to use them? Takes years of experience that you can’t just buy. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 👊🏻
Honestly the number of these videos where the prior 'mechanics' have just let loose on the parts cannon at the customers expense is shocking. Top work as always Jimmy 👍
Man those smoke machine's are amazing. Finding leaks youd never normally find. Great find that. Just goes to show without right tackle you've no chance. Im off to pester my boss for a smoke machine. Nice find
Hi jimmy in my experience with fixing work’s fleet of transit normally the egr tube where it goes into intake chokes up. So when the ecu/pcm wants to see less air flow when egr is open it doesn’t. Similar fault come when people put blanking plate in. Hopefully I can be helpful to you as you have to me with dpf problem 👍
On transits I've seen the air intake temp sensor mounted in the intercooler, read incorrect and throw air mass codes. Normally happens in the first 10mins of driving from cold
@@ORileysAutos watched all your videos on Renault traffics! Have a 2015 showing all the normal symptoms, had all different things changed but still air pollution, injection system showing. Need your HELP!!! you’re 3hrs from me but happy to travel to you for diagnostic and your expert opinion. How far in advanced are you booked?
Hi I got Peugeot partner 2016 with adblue keep getting problems with the pat fluid tank it is three times in two months changing the pat fluid tank any idea why keep breaking the pat fluid tank thanks Masood
I have a transit custom 2018 2.0 diesel Eco blue engine and I have 2 codes coming up P02ED (Diesel Intake Air Flow A Control System - Low Air Flow Detected) & P008A (Low Pressure Fuel System Pressure - Too Low) I had a dpf regen done but still no change. Doesn’t seem like an air leak but I have not done a test as you have on this video. What could be the issue?
Hi, Do you have to disconnect the battery before removing the fuel pipes from the injectors? Mine has a fuel pump that primes before use, so was wondering if its any different?
Pumas have been blowing combustion gas into the crankcase since the 2.4's because of this silly injector setup! Part of the yearly service on Landrover defenders 😂 good injector seat cutting tool is a must if they've been blowing a while aswell
Hi looking to buy a new scanner as my old Autel 908p now outdated. I was thinking between the autel maxisys ultra or the launch euro tab 3 which would you recommend?
The rubber seals seems like a poor choice of material from Ford. With the heat and vibration of the engine it's inevitable that they're not going to last for the life of the vehicle. Do all engine manufacturers make their top injection seals from rubber?
This madlad replacing a whole set of injectors one-handed, I couldn't do this properly if I had four hands and a garage.
We need a Jimmy in every Town & City.
Top Repair 👍
You know it’s a tricky job when Jimmy has to use both hands.

😊😊It's always good to come to a proper Mechanic 👍👍👍
Jimmys the man, fixed my van start of Jan this year. Need more people who actually know what they are doing like this man. God bless you sir.

Amazed those seals came out normally a new rocker cover job top work
Top man Jimmy ! Another great diagnosis and repair 👍
Love this, Jimmy!!! I didn't think the injectors' would come out as easy as THAT????
Stunning, one handed mechanical genius.
Thanks for the usefull video, we do not think first to check that rubber seals on injectors but first leaks on boost lines from turbo-charger
Top man our Jimmy, knows his stuff.
Nice one Jimmy, another quality repair ❤
Many thanks!
Very good at what you do.
Good job Jimmy.
Its common for the boost air temperature sensor going out of range , sounds like all common stuff done except pcv

Great diagnostic and repair, Jimmy! Seems nobody did a smoke test, before throwing parts at it - just plug and pray.
Exactly!

That was already changed along with the air flow sensor and map sensor

Hi another great video , my transit live data says -40 on air intake sesnor what coulds that be ? i got the launch 129 due to you review on them
Is there a process for cleaning petrol particular filters and have you ever cleaned any?

I'm guessing the owner is a carpenter from his number plate - MDF 😄

Tab 3 wins. Both aren't perfect. You will find some compatibility issues with both. I have a cheap otofix and snap on just incase as other options
How does changing injector seals fix a mass air flow too high?
The rubber seals seems like a poor choice of material from Ford. With the heat and vibration of the engine it's inevitable that they're not going to last for the life of the vehicle.
Do all engine manufacturers make their top injection seals from rubber?
Some just use a copper seal at the bottom
man like jimmy 👍👍🚗🚗👍👍
great job jimmy another one done and dusted
Good job my auto data states 6 nm 360°
Biggest chancer on RUclips .
Quote, its pssing down, is that daignosis found under hot funtions ??? brilliant..lol
I'm curious. Was it just the rubber seals that were gone so the usual giveaway sound and smell of leaking injectors required the smoke test?
ford injectors eh........
