I've found upgrades to be more exciting than i expected. That's b/c I'm very familiar w/ looking at the card I already had, so when i get an upgrade what i focus on the most is the improvement when i look at it. Makes for a satisfying experience
Great to hear that you and Chris are at parity/close to parity on the purchase. That's fantastic! In addition to all the cards you're both adding to your collections, I'm sure you have plenty more cards to sell that will make the whole thing even more worth while. That's what it's all about! Keep up the great work, Mike (and congratulations on the new additions to your collection). 👍
I like that saying Mike, “ the juice isn’t worth the squeeze”. I’m glad my wife didn’t abide by that when she met me.😁 It’s funny you said that and the 1st card you showed was a 70 O.J. Simpson!😂 love the 68 Bench! Have fun at the National my friend!
Are you still staying at the Hotel RL Cleveland Airport West for the National? It’s the one at 25070 Country Club Blvd in North Olmsted. I think you mentioned this many months ago that you were.
I never upgrade , i buy what i want at the grade i desire , which leaves gaps in my collection , but 52 years of collecting they fill in over the years just my way
I think Mike subscribes to the same mantra, although when you have the opportunity why not? I also never upgrade, I heard the other day somewhere that apparently I need a list for that too. 🤣 Called an "Upgrade" list! No Thank you🤣😂I have all the "Lists" I can stomach.
No, I never upgrade. I crack out, sell or trade the poorly graded cards instead. Feeding yet more money to the inept TPGs is the last thing I would ever do with my collecting funds. They have gotten rich enough off the backs of duped collectors.
Hey Mike. What are the details of the RUclipsr party at the National? Are we allowed to attend? If so, let me know when and where. I would love to say hello in person to you and the others I watch constantly
that reggie jackson 6 is WAY off centered.. left/right and up/down plus left/right is not straight… just a SLIVER of white in the left upper of card..… I would not make that card a collection card...
Sweet upgrades and additions! Really nice grades

Awesome upgrades
I liked the video.
We need to see that PSA stack though.
Fun.! Enjoyed it Mike. Thank you
So will you be at the Thursday night event?
@@BaseballCollector of course sir
Nice OJ - I remember I was so happy to buy one in the late 80's. It was one of the football "must haves " at the time.
Mike are the Munson 8s available? Congrats on the sweet upgrades.
Very nicely done! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Mike. Awesome stuff my friend. See you soon pal.
Thanks 👍
I’m always upgrading and selling things.
Interesting your differentiation between “wants” and “needs”
If I was unclear. Everything about the hobby is a want. I don't NEED any of it.
It's pretty cool when you can jump 3 grades for pretty much next to nothing, as well as being able to recoup your original card costs. Well done.
Glad you commemorated our OJ house visit with his rookie card. Sweet Koufax too!
Good times Josh!!
some great additions Mike, love the Koufax standup really cool card. Congrats on the upgrades and new additions!
Agree with your assessment with two grades or why . For sure whether Chase cards I don’t have.
Show us the rest of the PSA Grail submission PLEASE!!!
Great upgrades! Congrats.
Hey mike, great upgrades! Thanks for sharing
Hey, thanks
Nicely done
Good stuff, congrats
I dont intend to upgrade on purpose. They’ve fallen in my lap before though, and I do it then!

Upgrade only when the higher grade is such a great deal Then sell the lower grade Just a note try to always buy the highest grade I can afford

Now you need a 73 Al Cowlings rookie and a little Hot Wheels or Matchbox white Bronco 😂!
@@ottoolsen7640 great idea Otto

I try to do the same thing

@@tonyleebrick9050 I will have a video coming out today with those details. And yes, you are invited
