  • From her attendance at the Met Gala, to her front cover photo for teen vogue, to her billboards for covergirl in Times Square, Lillee Jean (an instagram model, actor, makeup guru, artist and singer with 1 million followers) appeared to have been at the top of her game career wise. That would be until she was exposed, as the girl that faked it all. Her photos, her following, her brand deals, her personality, fill in the blank, it was all fake. This video will cover that story...

This stuff is so sad. My Ex was obsessed with becoming an influencer, she would buy followers, comment on her own photos with fake accounts, buy products and pretend that she was sponsored by them, etc. She wouldn’t even post photos of us together on her page as she was scared of losing followers. It’s honestly a mental illness

Even though I personally never made any tweets talking about her or anything she still found my profile and BLOCKED ME. For liking tweets about her. So that means she’s looking at every single tweet mentioning her name and blocking everyone that likes/interacts with them. Insane. Keeping up the facade is a full time job for she and her mom

Narcissism in its highest form. She painted a godly image of herself (being a famous influencer/model) and when that reality began to crumble, started calling people out for ''bullying''. Reminds me of my coworker, claims to be the best worker but takes 5+ bathroom breaks a day that last over 20 minutes each time, yells at citizens who don't have their health phi ready, and looks patients up on Facebook while talking to them. Arrives every day late, leaves early most days. I work at the state health department in Oklahoma. I've reported it to HR for over two years because we are the only two taking calls for the entire state health department immunization service and I'm the only one of the phones 90% of the time. I've worked here for three years and this person has also worked here for three years and they refuse to punish this person, I think because they identify as the opposite gender and have clear mental issues. Also the top manager, Paula Deyell, is this person's grandmother. That's probably why this person, Jane Bard, will never be fired for anything.
Jane also has fake tourrettes. It makes random noises all day long specifically to annoy me then anytime anyone else comes into the immunizations office, Jane immediately stops making noises the entire time they are there then starts as soon as its only us in the room. When I first started working here, we all went out to a bar, the entire department with all the other offices and Jane didn't make a single noise the entire 5 hours we were there. I hate this person so so sooo much. Our manager Matt McLean is buddy buddy with Jane and Paula and I'm the odd one out, aka the conservative and they're democrats. They can't fire me and they refuse to fire Jane, so we're stuck together.

a lack of deep communal connections. thats the answer in a nut shell. Teenagers are undergoing something called a psychosocial stage of development, particularly and "identity crisis" where we ask ourselves difficult questions, especially as it relates to ourselves and our positions in social hierarchies. That's why high schools are filled with so much variety of identities, goths and emos and preps and jocks etc. With social media, we seek that same solution to identity and social status, with girls its even stronger because their sense of self and status comes from, traditionally, looks. So someone with 1 million instagram followers, that's status, that's essentially like saying "im the peak 1% of humanity" the same way a guy with a 6 pack might feel more confident about their body.
its natural, this is how humans behave, you're watching the complex version of a group of chimps establishing their status in the hierarchy. you have the prettiest, strongest chimps on top, and everyone else. everyone wants to see their status, oh and status by the way can literally influence our hormones and emotions. For example, if males and their favorite sports team LOSES, their testosterone will actually go down because it will be perceived as a personal loss as if they just lost a fist fight. Same goes for politics as well.

I've read comments of people feeling bad for Lillee or thinking that she probably didn't mean to cause harm when she started this delusion. But Lillee and her mom are not innocent in this situation AT ALL. She's constantly harassed people for so much as mentioning her, terminating Twitter accounts and YT channels unfairly. She also stated, and I quote, that "[black] people that have not experienced slavery directly should shut the f*CK up" and that trans people are just confused (it's all in her podcast with her mum). She also said that "a 12 yo dating a 17 yo it's ok and that dating a minor is only illegal if you report it". Yes, she may have felt 'harassed', but the Reddit convos started just as mere gossip, and only escalated when Lillee exposed herself as being completely and totally unable to accept anyone so far as mentioning her.

You have to give others a reason to want to come back to you for more, and it takes hard work. You can't expect to hold onto a large following if you give them nothing and no reason to keep coming back. Lillie clearly hasn't understood that, she just expects an audience to watch her play.

Right before she 'took off', I had asked her to do some photos for my small makeup company. She was all excited about it and it wasn't until a couple of months later that I found out she was 16. Instantly I got her mother involved and she was all for it. She asked that we have a conference call about Lillee's role as a model for us. We set it up for 7 pm my time which was 9 pm her time. When we got on the phone, she said Lillee would not be able to join us as she was taking a 'power nap'. Who takes a power nap at 9 PM when they have scheduled a meeting with a business? My business advisory felt the entire conversation with Lillee's 'mother' seemed terribly shady and we pulled out. I only lost about $100 in PR makeup to her. I feel lucky!

Its a girl using the internet in an unhealthy age of history with an unhealthy lack of wisdom and an unhealthy overadvanved technology. We are all as crazy as she is. If someone gets angry at that it prove my point. If someone is secure in their fear of her insanity there is no need to negatively react to these ideas to defend oneself. It stands on its own. However the fear itself is ridiculous. She's a girl using social media. This finger pointing at her is insane. She's clearly a victim of a very sick society. Witch hunting her speaks to the lack of moral compass. Not that she was right to do so. It's just that she is the primary suffer of the phenomenon of making a fake profile. However the people pointing the finger are victims too. It doesn't feel good to be hateful, or angry even mildly angry. It's not healthy to spend one's time this way. This is broadly a critique of pur culture.
Times are changing though. Soft times make soft people. Revolutionary change is coming soon. Not violent, but if there are food shortages people in the 3rd world will starve for instance. This is terrible. They have been toiling for decades. Our leaders have drove out society into the ground, all the while your parents sat around and watched Netflix and gossiped about their friends. The age of shallow facades is over.

The urban-sounding names like Shaniqua are often used in joke skits and such as a way to poke fun at stereotypes about black culture. Not saying nobody can have the name "Shaniqua" and be genuine about it, but it's largely a stereotype of urbanized black American culture. However, if you compare it to other issues the logo is fully visible.
Next if you look to the left you can see what the magazine is about, it says “8 ideas straight off the runway”, when I looked it up on Google, an issue on Teen Vouge featuring Emma Stone appeared meaning that she took a screenshot of all of the content in the picture and decided to cover up Emma’s face with what appears to be a forest background. Being so desperate to be liked and to be popular that it drives you to have to pay for likes and followers. Even sadder, a mom and daughter who make a bunch of fake profiles just to have them say nice things about themselves and follow them.
I mean she has tried art, make up, acting, modeling and other things. And honestly she is not very good at any of them, but If she put as much effort into one of those things that she has to this facade then who knows how well she could actually do.
Just a speculation, but her mother seems to be very very insecure and desperate to be liked, and raised her daughter to have the same insecurities that she has.
And sadly it takes self awareness and introspection to combat these things, which I really doubt they have considering thier actions and attitude when called out for lying.
Again, a very sad existence that must be.

This is so sad. My husband would brag about the amount of followers he had on Twitter, and I didn’t question that…until I realised that he had bought all of his followers….he was a complete narcissist. It was scary.

This is just down right creepy that people can be that manipulative and delusional.

This would be a great horror black mirror segment series. Creepy. The length they will go to feed into their narcissist.

And she still does it… her most recent insta posts are filled with thousands of blue checkmark accounts repeating the same messages up to five times. Crazy

If you fake one thing on the internet you won't be bashed, but if you fake everything than you just beg for it

I feel like this is one of those instances where calling it a "social experiment" would have actually worked. Like things would have gone a lot better for her if she said that this was all just a test on how someone can simulate popularity, rather than what she actually ended up doing.

When you really understand how much time it took, how many hours it takes for her to pull thus off is INSANE. SHAWTY WAS OBSESSED. SHE NEEDS HELP.
