Jim Brown was a legendary fullback for the Cleveland Browns. When he died on May 18th, 2023 he left family, friends and fans behind to mourn and celebrate his NFL and acting careers and his civil rights activism. Those things were his legacy. But so is this - a long list of accusations of abuse of women that dates back to the 1960s. Spoiler alert - he never gets found guilty. It's another Hot Mess History scandal from Ti. Enjoy!

He was engaged to one of my mothers childhood friends. She was in hs when he met her in Mexico on a family vacation and her parents allowed her to date him, mind you he was already playing professionally. I met him at a celebrity gulf tournament and my mom called me and I shared who I met. When I mentioned him it triggered her because of what her friend went through. She asked if he was inappropriate with me(mind you this was 7 years ago). He was so abusive to her friend and did horrific things to her. Jet did a spread on them back then. Her family helped her leave after the embarrassment she went underground and not much was on her online. She went on to have a fulfilling life as a mother, wife, lawyer and had transitioned years ago.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for making this video about this brutally sick man who for years was up held in the Black Community as some kinda hero and civil rights leader, movie star 🤮. He was a monster. For decades some folks in the community wanted to act like his athletic talent , acting and the fact that he talked about civil rights erased the burtal, abusive way he treated women. It's so sick. I see from the video that he has a long history of getting the women that he beats to change their story. I think it was in the 90's he beat his then wife and it was all over the news. Then about a week later he called a press conference outside his home with his wife standing next to him and she told the reporters that it was all lies. That she never said that Jim had hit her, someone was trying to smear his name. She said he would never hit her, that he was so kind, gentle and sweet. I would have given her an Oscar for best actress, but she actually looked scared when she was saying that crap. He definitely was a sick individual.

I appreciate your story. And all your content. I’m glad you did this. So many people forget what a horrible person he was. The men complaining about it need to stop. Just Because a person is your football hero doesn’t mean they don’t do bad things off the field. There is even more that he did that was disgusting that you didn’t touch on. All the elders in my family spoke about his abusive behavior, it was no secret. And when you carry on like that, that person should not be protected. Our community needs to stop sheltering, taking up for and/or turning a blind eye to people like Jim Brown. Something is wrong with people who want to minimize his behavior and and get mad that it’s put out there. That’s why people like him, R Kelly and many others get away with it and more people get victimized. Shame on anyone that has a problem with you speaking on this. It speaks to their character. If it were their female fam member they suffered at the hands of someone like this I wonder if they’d have the same energy. But sick as they are they probably would still rally for this jerk. You keep doing what you doing. Normal people out here have no empathy or respect for abusers like Jim.

Dear ty. I have watched your channel for a long time and and I love it and I have given you many compliments and I still do think you're the best. Your delivery on should I say tough subjects has been truthful And at the same time not deliberating salacious. I love it. I am seventy three years old. These things about jim brown I did not know about. I saw him once as a kid on a snowy t v screen because we could pick up the signal from buffalo new york w b e n t v. I can remember distinctly watching. And from then on I pretended I was jim brown when playing football from when I was a little kid to when I grew older. I was as tough and unyielding as he was or as I thought he was. But I never abused anybody in my life. To find out this may be true it's a little disconcerting. Some of your stories are hilarious unbelievable sometimes in the fact that real actual people did stupid things And sometimes a little dangerous like when somebody ends up with A scar on his face. Or worse or jail time. I could say that I knew some people in sports who had what I thought was a switch in their head and that they could be great in a violent sport. Beyond all expectations but then shut that switch off in real life. Perhaps in real life he could not shut that switch off. To most of us he was not just a man he was a man among men. Perhaps we expect too much of our heroes. And perhaps we excuse too much in our heroes. And perhaps if we knew the real lives of all our heroes we would have no heroes. I hope you understand what i'm saying. As usual a beautiful and tasteful delivery of a controversial and touchy subject. Thank you

Unfortunately I've lived long enough That my heroes are dying and i'm finding out that their feet were really made of clay. I'm glad to say that he was my hero when I was growing up and he also did many good Things during his life. He backed Ali, He did a lot for civil rights, He stepped in between the bloods and the cryps. However the other stuff he did was inexcusable. And some was horrifying. So no pedestal. @@ronpl8473 You may have heard of * the age of aquarius*. This is a phrase that correlates with a *new age*. **new ages last 2,150 years. If you learn how old the bible is (2.150 years) you can use that as a template to understand a graduation in and out of *ages. The previous 2,150 years was guided under the energy of Pisces. When you understand astrology more you can predict and understand the nature of the *collective energIES, propensitIES, and lessons, FOr A better understanding. These understandings default our individual decisions we make, and those decisions spill over into the collective...
So learn the high low and neutral vibes of aquarius, and be honest with yourself, and this will enable you to understand the age we are embarking on.
You can google the various ages.. it's similar to Asian year, the info is there.
And astrology is in the bible.
I'm glad you asked.. I'm a bit sleepy, but always happy to share ;)
I also read that withing each **age, there are 4 astrological successions that are sparked by collective events that happen in society.
Always remember that it's about choices, and when we choose to be asleep and mundane, it's like we are giving our power away, and that leaves us open to attacks... So that we now have to take the crumbs from the table, or pout screem and cry for our meals... that's not natural.. that's not what god had planned for us... but we have choice via wisdom and connection. We must speak in elevation when we speak, or dont speak.. we are leaving ourselves wide open to need to be governed.
If you understand the laws you can be the energy that prevents those events that spark lower vibrational successions.
P.s. those successions can be other signs.. so you will be in the age of aqua for 1 quarter of that age, butvthe underlying energy created by way of what the collective allowed may be in, say leo..

As far as Brown throwing Bon-Chin from the balcony, I vividly recall reading he did the same thing with another girlfriend or wife during either late 80s-mid 90s. I don't think she pressed charges despite the authorities coming to investigate.

Brown was a love child that never really interacted with his father. His grandmother raised him until he was almost 9. He was basically abandoned as a child by both his parents and carried those scars. He then got hit with brutal racism being the only black football player at Syracuse. He became a very angry, bitter and somewhat crazy man. He hit a police officer as mentioned here and in his book he got mouthy with a police officer in 1950s Alabama during a stop for speeding. Not exactly wise. Luckily one of the officers knew who he was and figured the publicity from beating his ass wasn’t worth the trouble. I think he also had CTE. Great athlete..great activist…dangerous guy to date.
